The experience was very nice. I love how friendly and attentive the staff is. Our server was very knowledgeable of what's on the menu and explained everything in details. The ambience was very nice a d modern. Great cocktail drinks. I've never had octopus at a Mexican restaurant and it was really delicious, very well seasoned and tender. We ordered duck, the steak, cauliflower, and grilled shrimp and everything was made to perfection. Our first time here and we were very pleased with everything.

Everything we ordered was fresh and cooked to perfection on my special date night with my husband. Service was especially warm and genuine from Daniella... One of the managers kindly asked, as she dropped our appetizers on the table, if this was our first time visiting. I said it was mine, and she proceeded to describe the dishes in beautiful detail what was in front of us. I could tell that they were shortstaffed and busy on a Friday night, but not too busy to share this tidbit of information with me! <3 I'm also a server and I appreciate that this staff worked with tremendous grace on their shoulders. If I had to find one fault at all, it will be the one server assistant's attire. Some might find it amusing, some not, but it is definitely out of place. I focus this review on the service because I see alot of burnout staff and this place manages to keep it fresh. Their awesome cocktails and food has been spoken for in other reviews. ;) Thank you again for a wonderful experience because it's extemely rare I go out on a Friday date night. I highly recommend making reservations with them.

Okay, full disclosure as a vegetarian I almost wrote this place off. At first glance it doesn't seem like there's much for vegetarians BUT I couldn't have been more wrong. Firstly, the ambiance of this restaurant is unlike any "Mexican" establishment you've been to. This restaurant draws from Oaxaca giving a wildly different experience in flavor compared to what I imagine most people's experience to tex mex is. We started with the plantain croquettes and the huitlacoche tlyudita and we knew we were somewhere special. For our main course we ordered the coliflor al josper which was so bright! There was a running light lemon flavor that just made it shine! The next dish we ordered was one that was actually changed as an accommodation for me. I love poblano peppers, but the one on the menu has duck and prawns, however the chef changed it for me and I was extremely blown away at that care. It was elegant, fresh, and smoky! We also got the milhojas de verduras and by far this was my favorite dish. If you've ever had eggplant mousaka from the Greek world then this is absolutely for you. That char, the tender vegetables, I just fell in love. I was smiling from the first to the last bite, and I definitely recommend any vegetarians to come. The chef is accommodating, the staff is so bright and lovely, and just get here. You will not regret it.

Love this place. The food is delicious. All the servers & bartenders are well versed so the service is on point. The restaurant aesthetics are also on point. Definitely enjoy coming here. Their valet parking was only $3 so it was super easy!

The food was fantastic and I was very impressed! I don’t usually like Mexican food but wanted to try something a little more upscale to see if there was a difference and there definitely was! The food really was fantastic and changed my opinion. While the food was definitely more upscale the prices were very reasonable. Our server was absolutely amazing! Everything we tried was fantastic. The only thing I was not impressed with was the dessert. It truly underwhelmed although I think I understand the direction it was going in. Also maybe it was more traditional and I was not acquainted with this style. I would recommend plating it a bit differently because it looked like mashed potatoes- so maybe on a beautiful blue dish and served with the fruit on the side. The waiter did bring another desert to try when he noticed we did not like the first and that level of customer service alone would make me return. I would come back here for the food anytime because I seriously have not had better Mexican food anywhere. I truly feel like this is the first time I have had it served correctly! I could go on forever about how beautiful the main courses were plated and how beautiful the melody of flavors were!

Excellent Mexican (Oaxacan to be precise) fusion food! They have a great variety of unique dishes. The Manchego Plantain appetizer was our favorite! Everything we had was wonderful really. Our server, Sandra, was excellent! She was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu. Hopefully we can come back soon (we live 2 hrs away) and taste more of what they have to offer. Also, the restaurant 's interior is just gorgeous.

Loved everything! The staff is very polite and attentive. The service is also fast. The food comes out in a timely manner. It is kid friendly. Honestly, anything you order from the menu will be delicious. My top two favorites of this visit were 1. Tuétano (tasted like nostalgia) and 2. Agua Chile (a definite must!). Also, make a reservation ahead of time to avoid waiting. Overall, it was an excellent experience! Definitely will be coming back!

Best! Best! Best! Have eaten here twice in the last two years. And both were phenomenal experiences. Every dish is amazing. Every entrée is 10 out of 10. Great service tops it off. hands-down, one of the best restaurants in Atlanta or probably one of the best Mexican restaurants in the country.

Great place, baby friendly! The mimosas are great, the food is even better. If you don’t have a reservation and there’s a long wait, it’s definitely worth the wait!

10/10 highly recommend! Everything was perfect, the presentation 10/10, flavors 1000/10, drinks 10/10 and service impeccable! They really thought through the entire customer experience. This is now my favorite restaurant in ATL! You have to try the bone marrow/ lamb, pro tip get the mango salsa and tamarind salsa on the side to add to your tortillas. Also octopus was tender and flavorful, and the pork belly tostadas were delicious. Oh and the cocktails are spectacular, they have a wide selection of mezcal!

W😍W! Be sure to make a reservation now and expect to enjoy a great evening. A delightful experience for all of your senses. This is not just another Mexican restaurant. Every detail has been crafted to delight every patron. Looking forward to returning… very soon! Read through a few other reviews and do not agree. We tried their version of lava cake, bread pudding, and a light whipped cream and fruit desserts - yum. You’ll have to strategize to try it all.

Went for my best friends birthday dinner and it was a lovely time. Very dim lighting, good menu with yummy drinks and a nice vibe. There were people in there that were dressed very down, but also people dressed up. As for the food, everything we had was delicious, especially the desserts.

It would be impossible to say there was something wrong at this amazing establishment. If there was, i know for a fact that they would fix it and make sure it comes to your liking. I had a great time listening to my waitress Laura speak so elegant about the preparation of the food. The knowledge she can pull from is as if she was the one cooking and preparing the meal. I haven't had this type of well prepared staff in so long. The food was at another level, it was pulsating with flavor and love. The Octopus was tender and moist, the Duck Carnitas combination with the Mole felt like it was the way it should always be, because it felt so natural. I urge you to at least try this restaurant once. I can almost guarantee that you will be back.

Overall Casi Cielo is a great spot to try out. I love that they serve infused water. The food is great quality, but could be a little more flavorful for my liking. However, the presentation and overall ambiance is great! The horchata is delicious and the drinks are strong.

I am visiting from the D.C. area, and made dinner reservations to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Lupe was our waitress, and she was amazing. Her knowledge of the menu items was very impressive. She asked each of us what flavors we liked in cocktails, and was able to recommend a drink that each of us loved. We ordered a Mezcal flight and she was able to share with us the process of how each one was made, which was very informative and interesting. We ordered the pulpo to start. It was cooked to perfection with amazing flavors. If you like octopus, this is a MUST. I ordered the bowl with duck. It was AMAZING and full of flavor. Probably some of the best duck I’ve had. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and the service provided by Lupe was top notch. Both the service and food deserve a 5 star rating. Excellent dining experience!

Good eclectic take on Latin food! Service was great! There is valet parking (which I prefer) if you come in the front entrance but you can self park in the parking deck behind the restaurant.

Amazing Oaxaca inspired dishes. Everything we ordered was very good, although the octopus needed some more grilling in my opinion. The services were a little slow for a weekday, but probably due to staff shortage like everywhere else.

Casi Cielo is a charming place to visit. Great service, good food, and nice ambience. This is one of those places I would visit on a regular basis, for different types of events. Definitely would recommend. The bowls are excellent, but try out their tacos, and main dishes!

They went above and beyond with my Christmas lunch for our office. When I made reservations for my large group of 10, they accommodated our menu choices in a very satisfying way. They did our office logo on the menu on their own, this was an incredible surprise to us when we got to our table, for that detail, we are very thankful. Cocktails had an amazing flavor, the bartender was very descriptive of each drink, I highly recommend the smoky old fashioned, and “La Piñata” this drink has volcanic salt on the rim, it’s truly unbelievable. The langostinos al carbon were incredible, and for dessert, we had De Verano soursop dessert, it was to die for. We will definitely return to this restaurant. Once again, thank you.

Not enough words to describe this amazing place! Great vibe excellent service and best food in town!! Came here for my wedding anniversary and were greeted with champagne on the house. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection with great flavors. Was shocked by the chocolate dessert as it had a hidden spicy flavor. Tuétano and entraña are so delicious I wish I could have had more. Octopus was cooked on point with amazing grilled touch! Can’t wait to come back to this restaurant.

Restaurant is nice. A little tough to get to from Roswell road. Parking is not too easy either. The garage was packed too. But the restaurant is nice. Decor is done well too. Service was good and the food dishes and drinks were all pretty good too. So all in all pretty good

Amazing!!! My husband and I LOVED this restaurant! The staff was beyond kind and attentive. Our waiter Juan Carlos was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of the history of the food and mezcal. Every dish we had was fabulous. We started with the octopus which was delicious and then had the chicken tacos which were very good! We would HIGHLY recommend!!

Absolutely the best. The drinks, the food, the service, the presentation, the ambience... there's really nothing I can think of that can be improved. Everything is full of flavor and the presentation is top notch. Big thank you to Alejandro for being so personable during our visit!

I’ve been coming here for probably 5 years now. Not as often as I’d like (I don’t live close by anymore) but it’s one of my go-to restaurants in Atlanta. I’m due again - hopefully they still have the fantastic bone marrow but I’m sure whatever is currently on the menu will be excellent. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed everything I’ve tried here. The service is solid, the atmosphere great (except the last time someone in the kitchen was hammering the bell like their life depended on it throughout the evening) and I’ve never had trouble finding parking.

Amazing!!! From the moment we walked in we were met with friendliest, most attentive, and professional staff ever! The hosts were great and the servers even better!! Tessa is the real star of the show!! From the moment she introduced herself she was on it! She knew the menu like the back of her hand, made sure to confirm our orders (we were a party of six), kept our drinks filled, and most importantly our table clear of used plates! She also made great food and drink recommendations!!! Speaking of food and drinks, the food was delicious, fresh, and hot!!! We ordered a little bit of everything but I specifically got the grilled Mahi Mahi Tacos, Guacamole and chips appetizer, and a Chilirita. The fish was super tender and seasoned perfectly. It came with rice and beans that were equally as good. The guacamole was sooo good my friends couldn’t stop eating it! Lastly, the Chilirita was super refreshing with a little kick. Three of us ordered it and everyone shared the same sentiments.. Last but not least is the impressive presentation of everything. You could tell that the chef and other kitchen staff really valued their craft! All in all, it was a great experience! My friends kept commenting on what a wonderful job I did picking this restaurant and that is a wonderful compliment for me!!!

The best experience ever! I made a reservation for the day my clients closed on their new home and it took a little longer than expected at the attorney's office. I called Casi Cielo to let them know and they couldn't have been nicer. I dropped my clients off and parked. I came in met with warm greetings and was escorted to the table. Lulu was our server. I will be requesting her EVERY TIME I go there from now on. She was so nice, attentive, explained everything very well, and made me look like a hero to my out-of-state-new-GA buyers for selecting this restaurant. The food was so delicious, though the service made it a 5 star+ experience and you just don't get that kind of service hardly anywhere, any more. At the end Lulu surprised us with a lovely cheese cake to share and a lit festive sparkler to celebrate my buyer's new home! Thank you Lulu & Casi Cielo!!

Yummy food for brunch! My husband loved his smoky old fashioned drink and the duck and corn waffle was so creative! My mimosa was good with fresh pressed OJ, but could have been a bit stronger. The jazz musician is a nice touch. Would recommend!

So far, the best Mexican/gourmet restaurant I've been in the area. The waitress was great with all the suggestions. I had enmoladas ,paloma negra for drinking, and a great cheese cake with ice cream dessert. This should be a must in your bucket list.

  • 4/5 Onesmus M. 2 years ago on Google
The atmosphere and view was great. Getting to the restaurant, there's a $25 charge but it is used as credit when ordering food/drinks. We were seated in a tent but the ceiling heat did not work so well and it was cold. We went to sit at the bar and it was great. The food was well balanced but my burger was salted heavily and the taste overpowered the other flavors. I assume it's a one off so I hope next time it will be great. Otherwise l, the food was great.

I’ve never had a bad experience here but today was above and beyond. The food was absolutely incredible. The duck and waffles were very tender and flavorful. The tostadas de pork belly were amazing. We ordered the wagyu for our main entree and it was to DIE for. Can’t wait to come back!

  • 5/5 Mabel B. 2 years ago on Google
Casi Cielo? It was El Cielo! The best octopus I’ve ever had. The server was lovely, the atmosphere very welcoming. The water was so good! It was infused with berries and romero (I think). I highly recommend this restaurant

Awesome Sunday brunch experience! All food were great, appreciate the live music as well.

  • 5/5 Bre A. 11 months ago on Google
This is a great spot. The food is delicious. Challenging to customize any dishes ( they don't switch out the protein in a salad, they won't put the salad dressing on the side because it's already mixed in, etc.) But I still found something to eat and enjoy. The cocktails were delicious and well balanced. It's worth a trip.

Excellent food and attention. I come from Alabama literally just to try the food from this restaurant. Some friends had recommended it to me and without a doubt it met all my expectations. Never in my life had I eaten such a soft and juicy octopus 100/100

  • 5/5 Antoinette R. 2 years ago on Google
We enjoyed a wonderful birthday brunch here. We sat at the bar and were looked after by an awesome bartender (I don’t remember his name but he said he’d been working for the restaurant group for multiple years). The food was deeeliciouuuus, ambiance was relaxed and the food came out pretty quickly even though they were quite busy.

Customer service was wonderful. Wait staff very nice and attentive. Food was delicious and well presented. Drinks were well crafted with just the right amount of alcohol. Atmosphere is perfect for social gatherings of any kind. Not to mention the prices are very very good for the quality and quantity you receive. I’ll for sure be back!

Amazing food. Great service, what more could you ask for? Our server, Pepe, made our first experience at Casi Cielo so enjoyable with impeccable service! Their infused water was surprisingly delicious as was the food. We stuffed ourselves till we could barely breathe and unfortunately had to decline dessert. Won't make that mistake next time! The grilled octopus literally melts in your mouth and the tuetano was so good, it was difficult for me to stop eating when I was full. Most definitely will be back to try other dishes! Found a new favorite place.
