Krystel was the best, I was referred to her and she didn't not disappoint. I got a blow out and my ends cut. She was on time for our scheduled appointment, she had great customer service I felt like I was talking to a good friend and she did wonders with my hair. This is my 1st time going to a salon to get my hair done in years and I can say I will definitely be back!

The place is a ray of sunshine on a rainy day! All the staff is friendly, they are in a good mood, happy atmosphere in the whole salon. The staff seems to truly love their job and it shows on satisfied customers. Tori did my hair twice already, and I will never go anywhere else!

I have had multiple cuts and colors with Brody and she is FANTASTIC! She has always been super friendly and professional, and has been awesome about making my hair come out how I want it even when I have no idea what I want. I was so sad when she told me she was leaving The Colour Bar, but thankfully she only moved 8 minutes down the road! I visited her at her new home, Haint Blue Salon, and had the best experience! Definitely recommend getting an appointment with her at Haint Blue - you won’t be disappointed!

I just moved to Atlanta and was looking for a really great salon to get my hair done at. I am EXTREMELY picky and a perfectionists when it comes to my hair, it's very hard for me to find a place that manages to give me exactly the hair tone I want and have in mind. Torrie exceeded my expectations, after talking to her for about two minutes about what results I am looking for, she said she know exactly what I want, went on to mix the colors and started applying it. Everybody was so nice at the salon, while my hair-color was setting in, I got to talk to a bunch of stylists. Very nice atmosphere, they have snacks and drinks for you. So moment of truth, hair washed and ready to be dried. I was SO happy, my hair looked phenomenal!! The PERFECT shade of blonde, looked so natural! I can't wait to be back, and can highly recommend the salon!! Thank you for making me a happy girl :)

WOW now this is a salon! I had such a fabulous experience here last night. Making my appointment was very easy as I was able to do it online. I could choose my stylist based on my schedule and just like that my appointment was made. When I first entered the salon I was warmly greeted by Dallas (I believe that was her name), given a cute welcome gift bag and a tour of the salon. Morgan cut my hair and she did such a wonderful job! I showed her what I was thinking about and asked her opinion. We were able to choose a flattering hairstyle based on my face shape and styling maintenance. I had such a great conversation with Morgan throughout the process. Everyone was very friendly here! Sometimes I can feel unfashionably and untrendy at salons. Morgan styled my hair perfectly and I left the salon feeling like a new person! Cannot wait to go back again!

I went to the Colour Bar on a Friday, and Zack was awesome.  We talked through the color corrections I needed and the hair cut before starting and he did some sample foils before he started.  I was fortunate that there were folks there to help as it was a long multi step process, but they worked great together and Zack was able to do exactly what we talked about.  Most importantly, when that outcome was not what I imagined (He did fabulous, it was just a bigger change for me than I had prepared myself for).  He was a trouper and jumped in and did another process that gave me the result that made me happy.  They didn't have to be so nice about it, and I was emotional, but they were pros all the way through and I am so grateful that Zack was so supportive and professional.  (It was late and he didn't rush but was kind and thoughtful throughout) He is so knowledgeable about the chemistry of color and a bit of a magician. I can't say enough about how happy I was to have found this location. As a disabled person, the location itself, entrance and bathroom is accessible, but the parking would be an issue if one was not able to luck up on side parallel parking on the structures side.  If a chair user had to park in the decks they would have to roll down and then PUSH themselves UP a multi layered ramp that is NOT set up for that kind of traffic.  Being dropped off is the only secure way to ensure a safe entry into the line of shops.  This includes folks who are mobility challenged, as even the parking on the side of the building is a trek if you can't walk far.  However, I stress the service and the people are worth it!!  Hope this helps others be able to plan out a way to take advantage of this awesome salon.

Jessica is super talented, sweet and gives beautiful women's undercut hairstyles--difficult to find in Atlanta. The salon has easy access and great energy!

Zach Ehlers always does a perfect job with my cut (medium length, light layers, on fine hair), and partial blonde balayage. He listens to what I want, and also provides honest and helpful feedback if I ask. He’s friendly and easy to chat with, and provides a nice service experience overall!

It’s always nerve-racking when you move to a new state to find a new stylist. The whole entire staff is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating.So happy I found them.

I have been searching for a Good stylist for decades and I finally found him. Zack is phenomenal and I will never let anyone touch my hair again. If you have naturally curly hair this man is a genius.

Booking my appointment was super easy. Jessica was really nice and friendly on the phone. I had my hair cut by Zach. This haircut was a donation, so it was a big change. Zach was super nice about the whole process and made sure I was ok and comfortable at every step. I love how my cut turned out. Great, friendly service. This place rocks! A friend recommended it to me and I checked it out on a whim. Jessica the owner is an absolute boss and cut my hair a few months ago, hands down the best haircut I’ve ever had. This week Zach highlighted and cut my hair and did an amazing job! I have struggled to find someone I trust in Atlanta to keep returning to - thy definitely have my business and I will be back!

I have been Torrie’s client for about a year, visiting every 4-6 weeks for balayage and a dual-glaze. Torrie does great work, we share similar ideas and interests, and she is pleasant and patient with me as I ask a lot of questions. In the beginning, I chose the Colour Bar because they took the pandemic seriously. They took your temperature at the door, they sanitized all surfaces after customer contact, and they requested all customers and staff to wear a mask. Now, only two staff and myself wore a mask, they don’t sanitize frequently, and they don’t turn away customers who could be ill. With COVID-19 cases and deaths as high as they were in January 2021, this makes me extremely uncomfortable. Though I am vaccinated, I can still become infected and unknowingly be contagious for ~3 days. CDC recommends that even vaccinated folks should wear masks indoors because of how contagious the delta variant is. Though I’m loyal to Torrie I’m reluctant to return to the Colour Bar for now.

I went in on a day I had work not sure what I wanted to do to my hair. Sam the stylist made made it look amazing and got it done in time for me to not be late! I will definitely be going back and I recommend Sam!

I’ve been to this salon twice to see Zach and he does an amazing job with color! Couldn’t be happier with my results. He is very talented. I used to go a larger corporate salon for many years and I feel like I am getting a more personal experience here.
