This is a small authentic family owned restaurant. I loved the eggplant parmigiana more than the fettuccine pasta. The fried pizza was so refreshing with the bread being light and airy. Not your typical pizza. It’s a must try!

The last time I had such great Italian food was when I was in Rome and even that was not even close. Amazing food and even better staff. Hidden gem of a place. Loved the pastas and the desserts we ordered. The pistachio cake was to die for. This is going to be my go to place now. Simple menu and don’t forget to get their macchiato!

This place has wonderful food and very friendly staff. Truly Authentic! Best make your own pasta in the Metro Atlanta Area! The tiramisu was amazing as well turned the rainy day into a sunny one.

Small cafe that serves excellent food. The owner is very kind and they make good recommendations. Their specialty seems to be pasta and pizza - I had the parmigiana and my friend had a lasagna, they were both great. They also have gelato and tiramisu & cake that you can either purchase to go or eat in the restaurant. I personally really liked their tiramisu. A good place to come with a small group of people (2-4).

So I don’t leave many reviews at all but I do complain a lot in person. I complain about everything especially my food. I almost never order some thing directly off the menu as is. I always want something changed or made different or combined. Not only did they do all of this for me but their food and service was absolutely amazing. It’s extremely rare that I will say this about any restaurant and I travel between about five states for work. Amazing little spot, it’s a gem.

Chill, casual vibe for Italian. Wanted to carb load for an upcoming race. This was a delicious choice! I had the butternut squash ravioli with Nora sauce. Will note that the portion sizes were on the smaller side, but good size for me!

I happened to stop and walked in. I ordered a tiramisu. I have been in Italy and I am addicted to this dessert. Without a doubt, the taste is perfect. One suggestion they can improve is that the cream feels a little frozen when you bite into it. It is a minor thing but otherwise, one of the best tiramisu. The menu looks amazing but I didn't know they sold meals, otherwise, I would have ordered my lunch. I will definitely be back.

As a foreigner that moved here a while ago, I would always miss the traditional fresh Italian pasta I would have with my family back in my country. I would always go to every Italian restaurant i could find just to see if any would resemble what I could find at home. nothing would ever come close… until I tried Buon Fornello. This is real Italian people. Nothing comes close. I never leave reviews but as a very picky eater I gotta say… hands down the best pasta I’ve had in the US. Keep it up, I can’t stop having it

I couldn’t even wait to finish my meal before leaving a review haha, it was THAT good! I ordered online for lunch pickup and it was ready promptly, hot and fresh when I arrived. The owner was extremely personable and friendly, truly grateful for my business. They threw in some complimentary bread with my pasta order to soak up the extra sauce. I do wish portion sizes were a bit larger for the price, however the quality is 5-star. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Five Stars! My husband and I flew in for a doctor's appointment from out of state. We came across this wonderful gem while waiting to check into our hotel. Boun Fornello Cafe & Bottega has the best Italian food we have ever had. For my main meal I had the meatballs with a cup of pasta fagolii soup. The meatballs were superb! My husband had the chicken parmesan. The chicken parmesan was topped with fresh mozzarella which was everything! For dessert we had a cannoli and tiramisu. We couldn't choice between the two so we had one of each! Every delicious item we tasted was incredible! My husband and I are huge foodies, and we're absolutely blown away with the quality of food. The wonderful lady who helped us was very welcoming and went above and beyond. She was very kind. The only downfall is I wish we could enjoy this wonderful food in the state of Michigan where we live ;) Thank you to the owners and Chef for creating such an experience.

The service was impressively prompt and courteous, and the food is beyond belief. We preferred the meat balls, three cheese ravioli and the lasagna . All of the dishes were served hot and deliciously fresh. Tiramisu was amazing as well. Will be back soon!

Very nice Italian restaurant. Authentic and delicious. I had the chicken picata and it was very good. The fresh pasta is also tasty and definitely tastes fresh.

I haven't eating this good in a long time! Food was amazing and staff was courteous. I had the arancini and short rib ravioli. Definitely will be back to try everything else.

Best lasagne I’ve had!!! The dessert was good, but the tiramisu was frozen. The pizza pocket was not the best. Service is great too! $$

Took my kids for lunch it was delicious my daughter loved the meatballs and both kids had gelatos on the way out my kids said “I’m never eating icecream again ONLY gelato!” Lol I highly recommend

I always buy the spinach and cheese ravioli and it never disappoints. So much flavour and freshness in each bite. My husband has tried several other dishes from their menu and has loved all of them. Their desserts are pretty special too, love the chocolate cake !! Keep up the great work!!

This place serves the freshest pasta I’ve ever had. Food is amazing, it blows me away every time I visit. Easily my favorite Italian restaurant in metro area. Customer service is excellent. Price is reasonable. I can’t recommend this place enough.

My husband and I adore this place. Every time we are in the area we have to stop by for some lunch. We’ve been here about 5 times and everything we try is phenomenal. This is hands down my favorite place to grab some pasta in Georgia. They never disappoint. 10/10 we recommend to everyone!!! 😍

Ordered 2x from here first was the fettuccine and meatballs. It was tasty but disappointed it was just 1 big meatball. Second time I picked up my lasagna and was really disappointed. It was basically nothing but mozzarella cheese which is a real shame because the pasta is made from scratch and I couldn’t differentiate the cheese from pasta even when I tried to take off some cheese. I realized it was basically a big $15 blob of cheese. Bechamel was nowhere to be seen which was fine because there was soooooo much cheese. I took a few bites and threw the majority of it away. Stomach is bother me from what was probably equal to a quarter amount I ate which again was nothing but cheese which also was a gross texture in my mouth. It was cheesagna not lasagna.

My husband brought home their eggplant parmigiana and lasagna…both were delicious! Love them! We’ve eaten there before and their pasta is homemade. Not cheap but oh so good!

Loved this place we ate there on 4/28/23, the 2 lady's were amazing! The food was wonderful and light! The coffee was the closest I have had since in Spain which made the evening more remarkable. She treated my son like her own. Best Italian restaurant around and the creamest sweets! 10 out of 10!! 100% will go back!!

The only real Italian restaurant I've ever found. The food is one-of-a-kind, the staff were all kind and all very well-versed in what they were doing properly everyone is professional no matter the situation. Died inside or outside the atmosphere is absolutely amazing 🤩 the cook is a very kind older man who's genuine authentic Italian I want of a kind and should be in a five-star rated restaurant the food was award-winning. The cannolis are the perfect end to any I highly recommend this one establishment I go to Sandy springs specifically for them.

cool little store hidden away in the publix center. food is awesome. the pasta is fresh, the sauces are tasty and the meatballs are the best. I order a side of meatballs because if you add it to your dish you only get 1. My favorite pasta shop

For how many times I’ve been here, I don’t know how I haven’t written a review yet. I think I want it to be a secret! Absolutely the best Italian food I’ve ever had. You can tell it’s homemade and crafted with love. It’s very cozy inside (seating for maybe only 20 people). The only thing I could wish for were bigger portion sizes, especially when doing to-go. Otherwise, a family favorite!

I was in town on business and looking for a local experience, as usual. Buon Fornello had a good rating and was in walking distance so I decided to give it a try. The business model is definitely that of a hybrid. There is minimal seating for a restaurant and most of the business seems driven through take out and catering. That said, I really enjoyed my experience. I got the lasagna, a glass of red wine, and a tiramisu dessert for about $40. All of it was delicious and accompanied by the owner humming and singing songs in Italian while he worked, and his kids hung out nearby. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, located next to a Publix supermarket, but that's just the kind of place I like.

My husband and I ate dinner here because it was close to our hotel. It seemed like a tiny hole-in-the-wall place that wouldn’t normally be good (just from observing the outside) but the food was so good and for such an affordable price! The pasta is made in-house and you can tell. The fettuccine was amazing. I definitely recommend trying the “pasta bar.” We don’t live in GA but if we did we would certainly go back. Service was also great too - kind, friendly, and helpful with deciding. Garlic fries weren’t anything exciting but tasted fine (I would skip these if I could go back and get more pasta).

This is a counter who sells pasta dishes in to-go containers. There are 3 small tables. Don't go for a nice sit down dinner. The kitchen sink pasta was excellent with large chunks of fresh mozzarella. The eggplant parmesan was microwaved and cold in the middle. Really enjoyed the Affogato. Recommended for to-go pasta, not for a date night.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant in entire state. Pastas are always fresh with absolutely great texture. And their meatball is next level good. You can have it as an appetizer or on your pasta. I've left neighborhood, but still miss this place.

One of the best Italian eateries I've been to. If you think of an Italian outdoor bistro, this is the feel of this place, even though you're dining inside. The food is DELICIOUS and the desserts are some of the best Italian dishes I've tasted, which is saying alot because I'm not a dessert person, but because theirs are so good I have to get one each time I go.

Excellent customer service by Austin and the rest of the staff. We encountered another gentlemen and another young lady everyone was very helpful and nice. The food quality was superb and we can't wait to visit again from Texas!

I was really excited to try this place. Quick authentic Italian sounded amazing. I went in wanting the “kitchen sink” which wasn’t available at the time (even though it’s a “signature dish”), so I ordered the lasagna. The service was great, good atmosphere, and the food was hot with generous portions. However, the lasagna was just a bowl of melted cheese and mushy lasagna noodles. It tasted great, but the plate lacked structural integrity. It is filled with a mushy bolognese that was lacking in meat which again contributed to the cheesy soupy consistency of the dish. The only distinguishable texture was from the massive carrot chunks in the dish. Very unappealing. That being said, the FLAVOR was great. I will most likely try a different dish, but the lasagna is a STRONG pass.

Best espresso I've ever had and the gelato was terrific. Hope to try the pasta soon.
