Great food. I get the Basil Chicken Rice and the Spicy Noodles. It is my go-to meal. Great food selection. They serve large portions. This is a perfect place to dine of you're hungry - or if you plan to have some leftovers to bring home and eat at a later time. The staff is friendly and the food is made in a timely manner.

I ordered pineapple fried rice with tofu and a vegetarian sushi roll. The sushi roll was good but pretty much exactly what you’d expect for a custom ordered one. They don’t have any specific ones on the menu which is a lost opportunity. The rice didn’t taste good. It didn’t taste fresh and the seasoning was off. My impression is that this place is not that great for vegans or vegetarians, but it might be better for others.

Service was super friendly and attentive. Restaurant was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Food was okay. Started with a Lychee Martini which I asked to be lighter on vodka and heavier on lychee juice, and I have to say it was perfect. Next we had Chicken Satay. The plate looked lovely, and the chicken was fresh and hot, but the chicken was a bit dry and the chicken and the satay sauce both seemed under-seasoned and flat in favor. Our main dishes were Shrimp Pad See-Eew, and Chicken Masaman Curry. Both dishes came out hot and fresh, but like the Satay, they lacked any depth of flavor and just seemed bland. The Masaman was requested to be “hot” it was neither spicy hot nor flavorful. Unfortunately pretty surroundings and great service don’t make up for lackluster food. Compared to our usual local Thai place, Bangkok Thyme just doesn’t measure up.

Ordered Stir-Fried Spicy Thai Basil Lunch using grub hub. I was completely disappointment in what i received. I tried to take this issue up with grub hub and old received a $1.36 refund because this order does not come with rice. The Grub Hub agent sated that since i got an extra item there was nothing o be done. So in reference to the picture, the amount of stir fry present is a lunch portion or they just didn’t have enough and added the rice and i hide that. Wow. These entirely vegetables. The chicken pieces are small and very thinly cut. I also had the 6 Cream cheese crab Rangoon’s. I can honestly tell you that Panda Express basic Rangoon’s are better than theirs. I’m really shocked at my experience based on the reviews. But lesson learned. If i wasn’t at work I’d definitely take to the restaurant for a full refund. NEVER AGAIN.

Located along Roswell Road, Bangkok Thyme is a nice option for a pleasant meal. The times I have visited, it has not been especially busy, so it has been rather quiet. The restaurant’s extensive menu offers some options I have not found at other Thai restaurants in the area. The service was helpful and efficient.

Ordered food for delivery pad Thai and requested extra sauce and they didn’t include the sauce. The noodles were so dry they were sticking to each other. Shrimp was overcooked and bland. Never again

Has been my go to Thai restaurant for almost 15 years. They changed owners a few years back but the recipes stayed the same. Bery consistent! 💕 this place

I enjoyed visiting this restaurant. Food was just ok. Prices were high for some items but mostly reasonabe Service was friendly although they didn't speak the best English. I probably wouldn't visit again.

The food left a lot to be desired. Vegetables were fresh but lacked flavor. I ordered fresh rolls: they were basically rice noodles inside rice wrapper. For dinner, I ordered wild jungle curry; they steamed the vegetables and mixed it with the sauce before they brought it to the table. Never again. Can’t understand the high rating

Ordered take out just to try this place out. Requested for medium heat, tongue was not impressed. Food was bland and oily and overpriced for what you get. Thai taste wasn't there. Nice atmosphere inside though, cute and cozy.

We were very disappointed with this place. It was our first time and to begin with the waiter was rushing us to order It wasn’t late for her to wait when we said we need a minute even though we did order the starter. After rushing us, the starter and main course came at the same time. The food looked and tasted awful, I was not happy and would not return ever again.

Wow wow wow. Where do I start. This place made me fall in love with Thai food again - their pad see ew (drunken noodles) is to die for. They also have a steak salad (yum nua?) that's really delicious - loved the combo of juicy steak and fresh veggies. And, if you still have a sweet tooth to satisfy after (or during) your meal, they also sell Thai tea! I like to take mine home and dilute slightly with coconut milk because the sweetness is very concentrated. Our server was also attentive and kind. One drawback was that she didn't let us order all apps + entrées at once (which I understand some restaurants don't operate like that). Bottom line: I'm a repeat customer.

The portions for lunch were quite large. I had Coconut soup and Pad See Ew. There wasn't a ton of flavor or spice. Be sure to ask for a spice level if you like spicy Thai food.

Wonderful food. Restaurant seemed a little quiet for a Friday night, but we were there early. They do appear to do a large number of take outs. Some of the best Thai food I have had, and prices reasonable. Can't wait to return.

From the minute I walked in the restaurant smelled like a garden outside of someone's kitchen. The dining room was beautiful with Thai wooden decor that was so unique. The staff greets you and service is fast and friendly. Food was hot , flavorable and delicious with amaizing presentation. Will definitely be back!!

Very attentive staff! We got red curry, pad thai and basil fried rice. Everything was fresh and delicious and flavorful. The red curry presentation was excellent.

Three strikes your out . We used to go here fairly regularly and it was good and consistent. The last three visits have been sub par and the latest visit was awful . Staff was busy chatting and seemed indifferent to customers . Our app and drink order was forgotten and the entrees were greasy and had no flavor and we kept coming across random things like a piece of broccoli or green bean in something where it wasn’t supposed to be . Steamed rice was old and stale on this last visit . Future Thai outings will have to be further afield as this neighborhood place has gone to the dogs .

We love Bangkok Thyme and alway love our meals there. It is right across the street from fountain Oaks shopping center on Roswell Road in Sandy Springs in a small strip center. Their sign is hard to see but right next to New York Bucher. We especially love their lunches. The coconut milks soup is excellent or the ginger salad. The main course is always nicely served and very fair priced. The only thing we would change is it is a bit dark in there and no outdoor dining but still very nice.

I am so sad to give three stars. This has been an all time favorite of mine. I have eaten the green curry prob 100 + times and it has been delicious without fail. Tonight I did something different and took it to go. Something was definitely off. I am not giving up hope yet I will try it again in store.

Food- decent. Green curry (famous dish) was very bland. Appetizers delicious (spring rolls and maki) Service- Way too slow. There were only 2 servers. It was hard to keep waiting for them for everything including plates, cutlery or food! Took us 2 hours to order, eat and pay.

We live in Sandy Springs and eat Thai takeout a few times per month. We were in the area so we ordered takeout. We couldn’t have been more disappointed. Coconut soup and green curry was lacking flavor. Wife’s massaman curry was topped with a brown avocado that should have been replaced with a fresh one and was also lacking flavor. Son said the broccoli in his pad see ew tasted like cleaning supplies. I had heard great things about this restaurant and am very disappointed!

So glad I discovered this place on Door Dash! Easily the best sushi I’ve had in the Sandy Springs area. When I order through an app their delivery time is always reasonable and the food is still the best temperature and great quality. The presentation is excellent even when delivered. I’ve had nothing but good experiences!

I like my green curry not so soupy. A little short on flavor and heat. Presentation was nice. Staff was attentive. Just need attention to details when comes to ambiance. Blind was very bad shape. Few ceiling tiles were hanging. With all above = 5 out of 10

Panang Curry, just awful. Nothing tasted fresh, greasy sauce. I won't return.

Love this restaurant. The food is always fresh, great quality, and the prices are great, especially at lunch! I wish this restaurant great success because they do a really good job and the food is always outstanding.
