Service
was
super
friendly
and
attentive.
Restaurant
was
comfortable
and
beautifully
decorated.
Food
was
okay.
Started
with
a
Lychee
Martini
which
I
asked
to
be
lighter
on
vodka
and
heavier
on
lychee
juice,
and
I
have
to
say
it
was
perfect.
Next
we
had
Chicken
Satay.
The
plate
looked
lovely,
and
the
chicken
was
fresh
and
hot,
but
the
chicken
was
a
bit
dry
and
the
chicken
and
the
satay
sauce
both
seemed
under-seasoned
and
flat
in
favor.
Our
main
dishes
were
Shrimp
Pad
See-Eew,
and
Chicken
Masaman
Curry.
Both
dishes
came
out
hot
and
fresh,
but
like
the
Satay,
they
lacked
any
depth
of
flavor
and
just
seemed
bland.
The
Masaman
was
requested
to
be
“hot”
it
was
neither
spicy
hot
nor
flavorful.
Unfortunately
pretty
surroundings
and
great
service
don’t
make
up
for
lackluster
food.
Compared
to
our
usual
local
Thai
place,
Bangkok
Thyme
just
doesn’t
measure
up.
