Storm Mountain Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 Storm mountain Park is a great place to play soccer. But they also do this really cool thing where they set off a whole bunch of hot airballoons. They also have restrooms and a really fun playground. They also set off the hot air balloons at a reasonable time so you don't have to wake up super early People often mention park, playground, good, area,

This is a very darling park with a cute tree theme. Swings and slides and a great climbing wall.

Great park! I went for the balloon festival and it was perfect. Easy to find, easy to park next to it. The playground is wonderful for the kids and really clever in terms of it's design. I would definitely go there again.

For how compact it is, there's such a variety of what to do! Plenty of parking (likely for the basin park below to the west, which has soccer and baseball setups), a pavilion with 11 bench tables, restrooms attached and garbage cans, lots of mature trees, benches and grass for picnic blankets, tennis courts, a bike lock rack, and a paved walkway all around the basin field. Great view of the valley and mountain to the west too. The playground equipment is cool. Forest theme. Lots of climbing options (rock wall too), two of each bucket/saddle swings, monkey bars, three slides, and a spinning element. Wood chips and a sloped curb all the way around. Lovely park!

Great venue for the Sandy Balloon Festival 2018. If held here again, sprinklers need to be off night before take off. Large park with playground, green space, and restrooms. Walking path around perimeter.

What sets storm mountain park apart is the large grassy area. Designed to be storm water overflow I believe; you could fit 2 football /soccer fields, or 1 hot air balloon festival!

Hosted one of our RSL Summer Soccer clinics at Storm Mountain at the end of July. The park was undergoing a facelift, looked like they are putting in pickle ball courts and redoing some of the sidewalks, so it was a bit unwelcoming for our event. Even so, the field is large and was enough space for all of our fields and a private trainer running his sessions simultaneously. This is a good park, especially for the grassy area; and with the addition of the pickle ball courts it will be even better. There are lots of mature trees to provide ample shade over the pavilions, pickle ball courts, and the surrounding hill. The singular complaint is that the surrounding hill is steep and really does surround most of the park making access more difficult then it needs to be, especially for wheelchair bound and elderly.

Looking around and I found this little park. My toddler kid absolutely love it. It also has a pavillon for parties. Soocer area, Bathroom, trash, etc. There is a area under construction. So let's se what else they will add. So far I do recomend this little park.

Went to the hot air balloon launch. The park is beautiful.

I love this park. The hill and field are nice. There are swings at the playground and a tennis court. One caveat is that part of the field and parking lot boarders 11400 s, which can get busy, so make sure to keep your dogs and little ones safe.

This park has a lot to offer. The services are good, the bathroom is well maintained, the playground is engaging with a good variety of different obstacles appropriate for different ages. Even though it is next to a very busy road the play area and benches are far enough away that you don't need to worry about children being near the traffic or the noise. The large field is excellent, perfect for group activities or to let your four legged friends stretch their legs. It's conveniently located next to a major trail so you can walk or ride to the park without having to follow along main roads.

Nice park to have some space to run around in. Good covered seating area. Up by the playground area it currently under construction as they just took out the tennis courts.

Myself and my granddaughter went up to watch the hot air balloons. It was nice but the park was too small and it was definitely nowhere to park too many people but I'll probably go back

Had 40 min to do a hike, this was perfect. I was able to run all the way back. The trails were perfectly kept. I would recommend doing this hike in the morning or late evening since there is no shade. Over all, a wonderful hike, a bit steep at the beginning, but nothing too difficult.

Nice little park, seating for eating a little lunch during playtime, and a trail around the grass in view of the park if you want to get a little walk in

I used to come here as a kid all the time! It’s always been a good park, clean and up to date. Things are in good shape and equipment is updated

Small but well maintained park. It is next to a busy street so you need to keep a close eye on your kids.
