I was impressed to learn that beans come come from family farm in costa rica. I tried a cupping and love the lighter coffee blends and distinct flavors. Very knowledgeable and nice staff. Totally would return.

Update: They still have mask requirements after executive branch mandates revoked by law. If you like gross bitter coffee, don't come here. If you like a smooth roast then come here and get their charcoal latte with espresso. It's a fun place to visit, with great coffee.

I LOVE discovering new to me, local coffee shops like this one! What a great place! ... Great coffee ... geeat atmosphere ... great space ... and most importantly, great, friendly baristas! 👌

I really love this place. The coffee is fantastic and of the highest quality. The house roasted beans yield some of the best I’ve had in the state by far. The baristas are skilled and friendly. They do siphon coffee too which is really hard to find here. The drip coffee was even a stand out. Very floral and bright. Great all around.

The Bean Yard is one of my new favorite places. Although I’ve only ever ordered food to-go at this point, the ambience is delightful. Those working here are always personable, helpful, and kind. I receive my food and beverages with very little wait time, and everything always tastes amazing. I also appreciate the fact they are committed to quality and sustainability.

Had the sweetest conversation with one of the baristas here & we connected over one of our favorite artists.. got home and realized she had written their lyrics on my cup! The whole conversation truly brightened my day & she was SO kind. Plus, the coffee & the avocado toast is incredible!!

The absolute best!! Their flavored coffees aren't too sweet, but the flavors are still there and it's just perfection. Amazing vibes, good music, good coffee. What more could I ask for? Would come back and come back again.

Coffee the way coffee was meant to be drank. Single origin beautifully roasted coffee, prepared using the best brewing methods around. This place is the best for pour overs and their coffee selection is outstanding. I've been drinking the Burundi which is a fruit bomb. Opps all berries nested in the roasted milk chocolate and tall grass. A real summer treat! Also their natural process Mexico rich in earth tones and Cacao. A hearty mouth feel and deep blackberry. Good stuff

Love this place! I had a delicious hot vanilla latte made with care and you can tell it's good quality. The baristas were warm and friendly with every interaction and person that ordered including my partner and I when we showed up over the weekend twice. The inside is spacious and an overall great atmosphere. I'll be coming back for sure!

Loved this place! Order the siphon brew! On my visit, they had a fantastic Burundi bean available. I chose the siphon brew as the brewing method. The result was a delightfully pleasant-bodied, fruit flavored cup. My partner ordered a cortado. The espresso flavor was strong and sweet. Recommended as well. Lastly, we ordered a gluten-free cinnamon roll. Here is where my only minor complaint would be. The cinnamon roll itself was fantastic, even for gluten-free! However, the icing was a tad dry. Make the icing creamier, and this is a 100% across the board for me.

Absolutely amazing, quality espresso and customer service.. This is in your nasty Starbucks folks. This celebrates the espresso being in multiple ways and doesn't smother it and nasty sugar and other flavors!! Great atmosphere for school or work if you need to catch up on a few assignments! Or just a chit chat with your friend! Pair it with her amazing avocado toast, or croissant sandwich.. you will not be disappointed! My personal favorite is their charcoal latte with added espresso 🤌🤌🤌🤌 chef kisses all the way!!

It was okay coffee. Good place to work on your computer or visit with a friend. Coffee was not near hot enough. Pretty presentation.

Kelly and Karina may be the sweetest barista’s in the whole valley! This place has really delicious lattes and my favorite avocado toast in the whole valley. Also! Way to nail it Bean Yard! OK, let me add to the delicious list on their menu. Their creamy, London Fog! And this toast with almond butter, bananas, cinnamon, and honey, which is divine!

Their charcoal latte is the absolute BEST coffee I have ever had. So smooth and so delicious. I am someone who doesn’t like my coffee to be loaded with sugar and I enjoy the taste of good espresso. This drink exceeded my expectations and had a nice flavor coming from the coconut oil. Highly recommend.

Love this place. Friendly staff. Plenty of work space. Chill atmosphere but hopping on Sunday morning. Top quality baked goods. One of the best cappuccinos in the Salt Lake area. Also love that Mexican mocha when I am needing something extra!! Highly recommended.

Not sure why this place has such high ratings. The coffee is good, but everything else was unimpressive. Service was slow, often impolite and unorganized, the avocado toast was made with hard avocado, the Danish was not anything impressive and the atmosphere was not cozy in any way. They were also not stocked with many of the menu items. Wouldn’t recommend unless you’re picking up coffee to go and it’s not busy

Coffee is really good, fast and friendly staff. Delicious treats- they have vegan and gluten free options. There is a lot of seating but it is all on metal chairs! Both table height and bar height, metal chairs with no padding, and the table height are curved just enough that if you have a big booty it does not fit well and is very uncomfortable, but overall a great place!

- Excellent espresso and beautiful coffee art. - Many different specialty coffee options; they know coffee. - The baristas are lovely people who give excellent service (we ❤️ Zoe and Daria). - Yummy gluten free and vegan options; I had the gf/vg chocolate raspberry mufffin.... yum! - Decor is minimalist industrial with plenty of seating.
