The food was well flavored. Big portions so you shouldn't leave there hungry.

Seriously absolute-possitively the single worst Mexican food in my entire life of 45 years. The sauce was deeply charred of a single flavor which was used throughout every thing, extremely salty, badly seasoned, and just down right absolutely gross tasting food. In my 45 years I have never sent back anything and I still didn't. This plate however came very very close to me to reject it both from the table and from my stomach. It was that bad. Just because you put sauce on ground beef doesn't make it Mexican. This event was mid May. Just so you know. New chef? New owner? Don't know. But new definition in Mexican food? Absolutely! This was the new definition of grotesque murdering of what one calls Mexican. Downright nasty assult to taste buds. Come at your own risk. I am sure someone likes it. I went due to the many high remarks but wow what were they talking about?!?! This is NOT a good restaurant! Not even close! And they use a hotel pen for their check signing. How odd.

I am writing this as I am still waiting for my check (I've been waiting quite a while). Service has been terribly slow (they are not very busy), they got my drink wrong and said they would be right back with it. It took him another 5 or 10 minutes to bring me my friend. And they haven't come back with one refill. The frustrating thing is that they charge 18% opportunity for a group of six or more. That takes away my ability to determine how much I want to tip based off of the quality of the service.

Great atmosphere, service, and food ... and plenty of it! Their chips and salsa are amazing! We took my mom here and she thinks milk is too spicy. She was able to great chicken salad. My kids don’t always like Mexican either, and they’ve got great alternatives for them. Our server, Erick, was on top of everything!

We absolutely love this place! Super friendly & attentive staff. Our favorite server always remembers us and brings us our special hot sauce as soon as we sit down. They have great daily specials which they honor Monday-Friday, no matter if it's on that day. The food is always hot, generous portions, and out pretty quickly. They also have some delicious margaritas!

It was just okay. Don't get a margarita, mine tasted purely of sugar and no booze. We're in Utah? Don't waste your money on a marg. Food was okay. The server wasn't very personable. Overall it was just okay. I didn't leave disappointed but I also didn't leave thinking I would come back.

Always love La Fountain! The food is tasty and still more affordable than many restaurants. Prices haven’t gone up quite as much here and I love them for that! The service is great and they serve you fairly quickly. They can accommodate large groups as well and although it can get fairly busy on weekends and evenings, it’s never a super long wait.

The food was good and the place was clean. The environment was nice but the hours on the door and on Google are incorrect. The kitchen was already closing when we walked in, even though we expected it to be open for at least another hour. When we asked if we should find somewhere else, they were nice enough to let us stay. Along with the other two large groups that walked in before us. However, it was clear that we maybe should have found somewhere else as they wouldn't make an order to go as they were out of chicken. Overall, I might try it again when they are actually open to see if it is worth it. But for now. I'm not super impressed. But at least the food was good

Food was delicious and the waiters are very friendly and attentive i definately recomend they have a big variety of plates and servings and alcoholic beverages

I was in the mood for comida casera, like chiles rellenos con carne. Unfortunately, they only had them prepped with cheese. So, I asked our waitress what she recommended and of course, tacos and burritos. I ended up ordering puerco en salsa verde. Plate was brought out to my table. It taste good but, wasn't what I ordered. By the way, verde is green.

The food is pretty good, very large portion sizes. The salsa was probably the most impressive thing though. The cilantro in it was fresh and had an excellent flavor. The rest was a bit flavorless, which is less than your average Mexican food. Service was only okay. It took forever to be greeted at the front and I hardly saw my waitress. I don't know if I'll ever choose it first to go back to, but I'd eat there again.

Not much care is given at this plates. It's a little concerning when your food is brought out 5 min after you order. Tortilla on my burrito was cold and my taco was burnt. Most of the meat is under seasoned and taste like from a can. Margaritas were good but couldn't save me from the taste. Also....the sour cream from a packet... I at least want to be fooled that it's fresh.

This is our go to spot here in Sandy. The food is excellent, the service is great, and you do not have to wait to get a table. The food has excellent flavor, they always bring out fresh chips and salsa when you run out. Specifically, we had the flautas and the Chicken fajitas. The beans and rice were on point and seriously some of the best we have ever had. Price is very reasonable. Overall, I do not understand the negative reviews of this place. I have been to several Tex-mex restaurants and this is easily the best one in Utah. Keep up the great work!

Seriously delicious! Come here every time I’m in town (at least once or twice a month) and crave it when I’m away. The blended salsa is my favorite! I highly recommend this place to everyone that enjoys delicious food!! Huge portions that make good leftovers.

One of my new favorites. The food is delicious, the portions are huge, the prices are great. At most places you can only get two of those at the same, but this place knocks it out of the park!

We were served super fast! Our food was sooo delicious! The kids nacho plate is huge!!! And our server was adorable. We loved our experience.

For standard Mexican food, I love this place. Usual Mexican dishes and combination plates served with Spanish rice and runny refried beans, and free chips and salsa when you are seated. They have a great menu with lots of options, drinks, fried ice cream and churros and specials. Service is always super quick and friendly. This is a great local-chain Mexican restaurant.

My favorite gut bomb Mexican comfort food clone. Unlike the other guys, the restaurant ambience is great, very clean, prompt service. Two kinds of salsas. I will definitely come back and order more Chile verde.

To go order was really messy and the salad was not so fresh but the shrimp with rice and beans was really good in flavor..very quick with my order very friend but they need to work a little on how to fix the to go order boxes.
