Really enjoyed our time swimming here today. Not crowded at all, the staff was really helpful, and the facilities were very clean. I loved the pool for my toddler, since it’s got a great splash area with a couple of small slides for littles. I probably wouldn’t go out of my way to visit with older kids though.

My kids attended a basketball camp here. There are so many activities there. The pool was great with a waterslide.

One person told us 2 min to closing we could finish recording a video before leaving. We were making a tutorial for a friend- (we are professional dancers) we went over the closing time by about 1 minute and were just completing the video when a man slams the door open and walks in very aggressive shouting at us “we’re closed -get out” . We told him ok the other person had just said finish up and then be out which we’d agreed nicely. He said well I’m the manager so what I say goes-still practically screaming. I felt very threatened. This man then shouted at the two poor young girls working at the desk. I really hope he does not behave so abusive toward them or others on a regular basis. So be warned if you should ever need to speak to the manager - he very much seemed to have anger management issues. Would not recommend speaking to him alone.

We had my daughters birthday here the kids had a great time, very affordable, def for younger kids though. I like you can bring your own food/cake we got the B. Package for $120 it came with 4 pizzas and 4 liters of drinks plus a few decorations.

Decent Rec Center with an open gym. Started going here since I moved to Sandy. Can get pretty busy mid day and on weekends but there’s always enough Ellipticals/machines to get on. I’ll keep going here for my routine workout for the time being.

Great facility! So much to do, great pool, track, sport courts. Super location.

Big lap pool but dated kids play area. Also small lazy river. You will need a long lock for the lockers also. Clean though and employees helpful.

We do a lot here. The karate, homeschool sports, cross country team and swim team are top notch. The rock wall is really fun and they have supervised climb where they will help your child. The swimming pool hours are not the best only from 5-8, but you can reserve the lap pools which works out great.

It was just okay. Saw a video online saying this is the best rec center around and I was definitely let down. They have slide you can’t take your young kids down (lifeguard says they have to be 6 to even go with a parent). No hot tub. Lazy river is very basic and short. And kids area is cute but the Nemo slide is slick and doesn’t have handle bars to hold onto. The locker rooms are very dated and gross. They also smelled super funky and didn’t have a swimsuit spinner like most other rec centers we’ve been too. We don’t live super close by so it really wasn’t worth the drive to go there. The biggest plus is that they were open New Years Day when many other were closed.

Fun place! Would love to see the water slightly warmer during winter swimming. It is warmer for sure, but even a bit warmer is recommended from this family :)

Our first time here. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Family Changing Rooms are very "tired" and need basic maintenance, or better still, a complete refresh. Pool was nice and Lifeguards were attentive and friendly.

The climbing wall is great and at 4 dollars for a day pass if you are under 18 it is more than worth it. Sometimes it can be difficult to climb due to kids and classes that take a long time. The hold are regularly moved so I am always challenged.

Great rec center, the only thing my wife and I feel like they could improve is their workout equipment, more squat racks, etc

Midday weekday delightful uncrowded lane swimming and indoor track above the basketball courts. Daily passes are cheaper than monthly passes if you are only visiting once a week. Thanks to Salt Lake County for providing such decent rec centers!

I had my daughter birthday party there, the party room was clean, service great. After the party, the kids enjoyed the swimming at the indoor swimming pool. Highly recommend it 👌

Great facilities! Decent amount of swim lanes, indoor track for those cold or wet days, well equipped gym, and plenty of court space.

The Aquatics team has a gem in Aspen. After calling four different rec centers, l had given up on finding swim instruction for my kids. Aspen returned my voice mail (and emailed with me). She led me through all the swim lesson/team options. She is very authentic. She is diplomatic and informative. I spoke to several Aquatic Coordinators who had been dismissive and unprofessional and oh so nonplussed. They could all take a page from Aspen's book and be better for it. She offers suggestions and gives advice. She didn't resort to platitudes and tell me to go to the website. She had insight and a problem solving mind set. Thanks Aspen!

I don't have a membership here but I come down and watch the basketball games. It has a pool, a huge basketball court and alot of gym equipment. If you're into fitness this is your place!

Nice little spot, however do not use the posted time to judge the swimming hours. The facility is open until 2000, however, we were told due to lifeguard issues, the open swim was only open til 1900. We got a nice 30 min swim in before we had to get out. I did count seven lifeguards inside the pool area and I believe only 4 posts. Is it a management issue or a workforce issue? Either way, we'll plan our next trip around the 1900 time.
