Loved it! This was my first time here. The place is spacious, you can rent everything here. Staff is friendly and helpful. First time registration requires one to listen to video (registration eform) and then submit some basic details. There is a coffee dock, you can get water, kambucha as well. I highly recommend it.

Great bouldering spot. If it’s your first time they make you do an introduction course

It's not often I give climbing gyms 5 stars. And I've been to some 100+ gyms in various countries over the years. The setting here is just amazing at just the right distances for dynamic moves to actually work (so you feel encouraged to try), the problems are readable to the point where it even got me, a sworn hater of slab, on some slab. It reminded me of the old school gyms from before climbing became popular. I had FUN climbing again, for the first time in ages, where I usually am walking around gyms struggling to find enjoyable problems. Here there were dozens to try. Very approachable problems, friendly people around that'll talk to you and join you as you project, good vibes. And I'm saying this without them having a tunnel or kilter board... although there is a moon board. (But maybe the gym needs a few more complete overhanging problems on their arches to really make things perfect ^^👌). Having fun is the most important thing in a sport like this, and this gym remembers how to set that way, even on comp style problems. Definitely try this gym if you come by Dublin, even if you're a beginner. It'll remind you how to climb for fun again, the problems just Inspire movement that somehow unlocks that. I hope this review helps some climber like me stopping by Dublin looking at which climbing gym they should visit :)

Nice and large bouldering gym. Great route setting for all levels. Just went back and enjoyed it as much as during my last Dublin visit

My favourite of the Dublin walls. The route setting is good, a nice mix of both competition-esque and outdoorsy style blocs. There isn't that sense of elitism here which is all too common on the Irish climbing scene which makes this wall a great choice if you're new to the sport. Recommended for both new and experienced climbers, 5 stars easily.

Holds need a deep clean! Had a few damp slimy surprises on holds that looked like they'd not had a proper scrub in a while. Other than that there's a nice variety of routes with different styles and levels.

Big fan of this place. They're always keeping it fresh by rearranging walls every couple of weeks. Friendly staff and decent extra equipment upstairs 👍

I don't understand how the staff can open the windows when it's about 5 degrees outside. It's so unpleasant to climb in these conditions. My fingers and feet hurt a lot due to the cold, and I have to wait at least 1 hour before my fingers are warm enough. As for the climbing routes, they are decent, but the difficulty level is way too easy. Even though I'm not an excellent climber, I can easily handle most of the level 8 routes and some level 9 ones. So, I quickly ran out of challenging options. Regarding the difficulty levels, I feel they don't match the actual difficulty. For instance, some level 7 routes are harder than level 9 ones, and so on. Moreover, the monthly fee of 80€ seems excessively high for what I've mentioned earlier. I sincerely regret paying 80€ for one month at this gym. It's only worth it if you go for the 30€ offer. I would rate this gym somewhere between 2/5 and 3/5, but the current rating of 4.8 is way too high. That's why I'm giving it a 1/5. I strongly advise you to consider another climbing gym !!!

I visit this place regularly when I’m in Ireland for work. They have many subscription options if a yearly subscription doesn’t fit. Especially the 30 days for 30 euros (including shoe rent) is perfect if you’re new to climbing. Staff is helpful. Coffee is great, so is the music. During week day peak hours, it is sometimes unpleasantly crowded.

Previously really enjoyed my climbs here and the staff have always been wonderful, however I wont be returning due to a particularly rude male member of staff this morning working behind the desk.

Friendly staff, good climbing for beginners and intermediate climbers, kinda cool you could tell the difference in style here compared to other bouldering gyms in Dublin.

Love this place, great bouldering, great coffee, and there's lots of problems for all skill levels, plenty of variety and regular changes of routes.

It was great fun! It's just a bit pricey. But they have the €30 for a month deal, and you can go as many times as you want.

Beginner climber and the wall was manageable with little assistance. In a couple climbs got up to a yurple. Think it's lovely for a range of climbers and a building environment (people will help if you ask).

Great staff and my local bouldering gym. Everyone is friendly and the other visitors are more than happy to provide tips and tricks. Worth the price and they update the routes regularly. Recommend.

We stopped by for an hour and a half to get some climbing in before our flight back to US later in the afternoon. Signing the waiver/registering took less than 10 minutes. There is a coffee shop with seating area (wish we had at my local gym!), merch and gear to purchase... As for actual climbing, I was very happy with the selection of problems for beginners like myself. I didn't run out of things to try, although I was disappointed that part of the gym happened to be getting worked on while we were there so we couldn't get to all of the walls! Very cool place.

Wonderful gym, great variety and range of routes. Friendly and helpful staff. Can get a bit crowded in the evening, but still enough routes to go around. Only minor complaint is that the finish on some walls is the slippiest paint / surface I’ve ever come across, making smearing a challenge. But overall fantastic — I live in San Francisco, and this gym would hold its own against those in the Bay Area. Was also delighted to see it acting as a real community hub for younger climbers and their friends in the area, the cafe is a great idea.

This place is amazing for bouldering! Fun and challenging problems and the staff are very lovely. Great and supportive atmosphere as well!

This climbing gym is fantastic. There are many routes with such a varying range of difficulty and they're reset often enough so there's always new routes to try out. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Overall a great climbing experience.

I had such a great night my first time properly wall climbing and halfway through we had a tea and cake break at the little cafe inside before getting back at it again. Thank you Al for such a fantastic venue

Love it. 9 levels of difficulty. I did 4 easily. Maybe should have had taller walls for easier section.

In my opinion this is the most enjoyable bouldering venue in Dublin. The problems are well made and they cater for a wide range of climbers. There's a place to sit down outside and enjoy a tea/coffee.

Been going for 4 years. Great place for bouldering whether you’re a total beginner or looking for a challenge. They reset sections weekly on Wednesdays so there’s always fresh routes.

nice gym. normally train at Gravity but coming here for a while because i find it more muscley so good for training strength

Good inventive puzzle setting. When it's busy it's uncomfortably crowded, hunting for free spots to climb. Nice informal atmosphere.

A lot of respect within Staff and By Staff! I really hope they keep going the way they have been for the last few years! I wonder if they removed the Gymnastic rings I loved 🥺 That was a standout feature of this Gym.

The variety in wall shape is a little disappointing, majority are just flat walls going straight up or with a slight incline/overhang...the centre block is great but it looks like they've stopped route setting on the main arch which was a big appeal for me, the walls seem a little shorter too compared to other gyms I've been too and the grading system isn't as well done in my opinion So because of those drawbacks it feels a little more expensive than it should be when compared to "gravity" or "awesome walls" But the staff are great, great atmosphere, I really like the training room and electric practice board If it was a little cheaper I'd give it 4* but the walls themselves and the grading system would have to change to reflect their current price or get a higher rating Still fun bouldering problems though

Great we’ll set climbing gym with a great training area in south Dublin. Always a good atmosphere and interesting boulder problems. The staff are friendly and the place is clean. Would recommend.
