First time visitor and Yabi Sushi did not disappoint!!! Portions were plenty and food tasted fresh and delicious. Their service is exceptional, and we will definitely be back to try more things! I got the shrimp hibachi, my husband got two ngiri and the shrimp and scallops, and my kids got sushi, shrimp hibachi and the gyoza and this place gets our seal of approval. Thanks so much for an excellent experience!

The place was very comfortable to sit down and eat. The waitress was very kind and the wait time for getting our food was not long ! Overall a nice place to eat and enjoy your food there ! I will comeback to order again !

Stopped by this spot and from the outside it looks small but there’s about 10 tables give or take. Very chill vibe. It’s hard to make a sushi roll decision, everything sounds good. The salmon sashimi (not pictured) was so thick, delicious and fresh. The hibachi came with a Japanese onion soup that was amazing. We also had a kids steak hibachi. It came with fried rice noodles and steak but no veggies were included. Overall this was a nice place with great food.

Sirloin Steak hibachi was tasty and a lot of food for the price. I'd still go to Kobe for a celebration but Yabe is great for every day dinner or lunch and half the price! Inside is a bit small but decorated in a Japanese theme with paper walls. The service was great! Our waitress was very attentive to us and the second my water was close to empty she was there to refill it. They let you put as much white sauce as you want on your hibachi, so mine was practically a soup.

We order take out aA LOT from here. Great for a quick little fix of hibachi & sushi but tonight I was disappointed. I’m worried something is up & they are trying to cut corners. Prices went up but the soup size went down. I ordered sushi and got barley any soy sauce. And worst of all my sushi was filled with cucumber skin scraps! I couldn’t help but feel like they’re scrimping or cutting corners & it’s not good.

The special hibachi dinner was very good and came with extra white sauce and a good assortment of vegetables. Veggie spring rolls were crunchy and tasty. Miso soup and onion soup were too salty. Sushi rolls were good but nothing amazing. Superman roll and scarlet rolls were good (pictured, halfway through our meal) but too similar. Got the Sanford roll (good) and the Narutumaki (tasted a little off). Service was super fast. It was ready in 10 minutes.

This place is always excellent!!!!!! I always do takeout or delivery so as far as dining atmosphere goes, from what I can see it looks great too. Space is limited on parking though, just picking up is very tight most evenings. Food is worth it though 😃❤️

I've ordered food to go a few times, but this was my first time eating inside, and I ordered sushi and rice/chicken. Unfortunately, the rice and chicken had a super long black hair tangled underneath all the rice and chicken. They said they would make me a new order but lost my appetite. They still charged me for the sushi, though. So, It just could have been handled better instead of acting like me finding hair in their food is a normal thing here.

One of the only affordable yet amazing tasting sushi places left! Everything we ate here was incredible and our server was very attentive. We absolutely pigged out and the meal was still very affordable. Only small gripe if you could call it one at all was just that their spicy mayo is a little thicker than most and they seem to use it very generously, so I wish I would’ve asked for it on the side. We will most definitely be back!

This is similar to Kobe but without the show!! The food was good, they did not give us enough noodles thats why I gave them 4 stars :( before the pandemic the chicken was bigger now its all chopped up like dog food! Hahaha!!! When I ordered noodles to go & paid $4 they gave us tons of noodles which is weird it only shows that they shouldn't be stingy with noodles Our server is excellent!! Shes fast & efficient. We would definitely come bck for the reasonable price

Great service, Great food. Our attendant check in frequently, was very polite and well mannered. The chicken hibachi was the bomb and my sushi was very fresh and delicious, I recommend the Rolls very highly, and if you dare, use the mayo it's good stuff

Been eating yabi regularly for more than 5 years. Always fast and friendly service, QUALITY IS EVERYTHING! Always consistent and delicious. For the price, you cannot beat this.

Hands down one of the best hibachi places in Sanford. The plates are always stacked with food. The prices are great and it’s always fresh.

My friends and I have been eating here for years, and it's never disappointing. If you want great food on a budget, this is the place. Friendly service and atmosphere. Whether its a Business meetings, date, or just some takeout, they always have something to enjoy.

Don't let the exterior of the building intimidate you. The place is fairly small with enough room between tables. The menu is surprisingly extensive. I ordered the sirloin steak, which includes fried rice and vegetables. I enjoyed everything on my plate. I definitely recommend this place to those who enjoy a peaceful lunch or dinner.

Food and service was amazing. I've found a new sushi spot that I will frequent often. Lots of options to choose from and the staff is attentive and helps each other out. They even give you your own bottle of white sauce at your table.

Had a great experience! Highly recommend!! I was told by a friend to go here, because I was looking for cheap but quality sushi... You can definitely get a bang for your buck here!! The service was amazing too, very attentive servers. Also, the lo mein is pretty decent!

I have been here twice now for lunch and it's been great! The sushi is awesome and the service is fast and great. Excellent value. I came back for dinner tonight to try the Hibachi and it was great too. I can't recommend this place enough.

Live live this little whole in the wall don’t look like much from the outside but it is delicious and the staff are extremely friendly They make the sushi fresh to order The ginger salad 🥗 yummy 🤤 I got the chicken hibachi special For 8 of us it was 150.00 We all got sushi and the dinner special

KIDS MEAL: More than enough! Pros: Hibachi steak with noodles AND rice. Comes with side salad w/ginger dressing. ...and extra "yum, yum, white sauce" for the dinner!!! #delicious Con: It doesn't come with a drink. Paid extra for bottle water.
