Our family decided on Sanibel Siesta for a getaway from the northern winter weather in 2021. We liked this place so much we came back in 2022 and rebooked a week in 2023. The staff is the face of this property and they are great to work with. They have all been very friendly. We enjoy the way the grounds are kept up and all the flowering plants. It makes for a very welcoming home away from home. We enjoy breakfast and coffee every morning on the lanai…one of our favorite spots. Access to bicycles and the beach are also at the top of our list. As long as we come to Sanibel we plan on coming here. 2/23 update. Because of Hurricane Ian, repairs are ongoing and the staff called us to let us know. We rebooked for 2024 and are looking forward to getting back to the island. We know it won’t be the same, but that is to be expected for a barrier island. I’m sure it will still be amazing!

Great stay so far ... (continued) ... It was a fantastic place to stay. We made sure to really look into what they had to offer BEFORE booking it. And we also took the time to carefully read all of the information they sent with the booking confirmation. If you are prepared ... this will be a great place to stay. Parking was included, which was a huge benefit on the island. Our unit included beach chairs & the resort is right on the beach! That was all we needed! It was so great. Wish we had booked more time. Could have stayed forever. =) On a side note; if you're Northerners like us ... take time to learn about the no-see-um mosquitoes. Take all precautions.

We absolutely loved our condo. Though it was dated we enjoyed the homey feel. The staff is awesome, beach is very close with plenty of chairs and umbrella. We were there early December enjoyed the condo and Sanibel so much we already booked for next year.

Sanibel Siesta is a wonderful vacation experience. They have thought of everything: bikes to rent, close beach access, beach chairs and umbrella, heated pool, laundry on site, and fully equipped kitchen... the list goes on! At the time of our visit, the hotel next door cost more nightly than Sanibel Siesta’s two bedroom condos!!! The staff is super friendly and full of information if needed. We had a fabulous time and will certainly be back again soon. Special thanks to Julie and her wonderful staff.

Small condominium complex with beautiful views of the ocean and close to many excellent restaurants!

Nice clean condos. Easy walk to beach. All the things you need for the beach were provided. Wasn't impressed with service. Needed toilet paper the last day of our visit but the office said housekeeping provides it. Never saw housekeeping in the 7 days we were there.

Unit 303? We come here all the time. It has always been a great experience. This time we reserved Unit 303 and found it was not cleaned thoroughly when we arrived. The kitchenware was soiled and the bathrooms had hair and dirt in them. Also, this unit appears to have an adjustable bed frame, but it does not match the headboard and footboard. The implications of that are that the ends of the frame stick out creating a hazard for anyone walking past them. I can see that someone tried taping up one side. I suggest the owners get the right footboard at least for the frame so no one gets hurt and that site managers higher real housekeepers.

We only stayed a few days but it was very pleasant. The condo was a little dated, but clean. The location was awesome. Right next to the beach. The condo had plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool was big and clean. Very quiet at night. Perfect for a family vacation.
