Victor brings colour and a sense of history and terroir to the making of jerez in this Bodega in Sanlucar de barrameda. We sampled 5 sherries, 2 from casks. I had a chance to experience a guided tour which was very nice. Although I was alone to join the tour (no one else was joining at that time), the staff was willing to tell me the unique history of the bodega. 7 kinds of good sherry were offered , some of which were only available at the place.

Fantastic tour! We had been to a large commercial bodega the day before and I was a little worried this would be more of the same, because I know this is a large exporter and is stocked in a lot of supermarkets. There is a shop in the bodega where you can buy Rama (not filtered, before it goes into the bottles) sherry and store up to 3 months. You must visit if you are in the region.
