Excellent tour and great Sherry. The English tour starts at 1100 and it is very informative. The lady giving the tour speaks fluent English with minimal accent. Highly recommend.

(Translated by Google) Interesting and enjoyable visit to the wineries, differentiating with order the most traditional part of the modern exploitation area. The visit is worthwhile as the wineries have a very interesting history and dimension. At the end, basic but sufficient tasting and visit his small store where we could buy some of his products very well presented. I particularly recommend the visit.

(Translated by Google) Sanlúcar is the unique paradise of manzanilla and one of its greatest exponents: Bodegas Barbadillo, since 1821, a benchmark for quality and good taste. Visit their wineries and get lost without wanting is an adventure, discover dark corners, Mudejar, neoclassical; to run into old boots that like mothers raise their treasures, marvel at recondite patios and again the light filtering through the green. Spectacular cathedral winery, 4,000 chamomile boots. Liquid gold in an elegant and modern glass, that unmistakable aroma more intense than ever, looking up, centenary vaults, silent, silent, licking with pleasure. Wanting to taste everything, frizante, vino, Maestrante and finally, again: Solear. Accompany her with her prawns, touch her palms and take her literally home, exactly, my weight in Manzanilla Solear.

(Translated by Google) A visit that I recommend if you go to Sanlúcar is this wine tasting of the wineries. They explained very well how they make the famous chamomile in addition to other important wines. They explain it perfectly and it is very interesting to know how the wines are made and how the chain works. 😋 The visit has to be guided and worthwhile. The tasting that comes with the visit is very good. While they explain to you about the visit they make you want to try the wines that explain that we are going to try. The tasting was changed recently and I have seen many reviews that complained about the bad tasting, so now those who want to return to see the new tasting can come back, much better as they say. 😉

(Translated by Google) The visit to the winery that I did was with a tasting, it is highly recommended especially to go with a group of friends, since you have a good time and you learn about the history of the winery. The building is beautiful, it is quite large, it has several parts and the truth is that it is a good pastime if you visit the city. What I did not like is that I have paid € 10 for them to sell me wines since the tour begins, I understand that it is a very good marketing strategy and they do not force you to do anything but nobody likes to pay to be sold anything. On the other hand, I did not like that the tastings were only 4 glasses, when in other tastings they usually give you more to taste. If you want to have incredible photos it is worth it, but if you do not want to be overwhelmed to buy barbadillo it is not so incredible. Also during the tour you could perceive the non-existent good vibes between the guide and the employees, who should be more disguised for the people.

Should be nice, but no marketing! Could you imagine how many wines you can try at Barbadillo's? You can buy tickets for two wines. I bought 4 tickets to try more. But once at the coounter I've realized that these should be the sam two cheap wines they want to pour! I had to say no! They have fine and nice wines, just don't taste them! I won't be back and will avoid any of their wines for the rest of my days.

Visit to bodegas barbadillo to have the biologically aged wines tour with Erin and it was such a fantastic experience. The passion and care for sherry wines and in particular manzanilla, a specialty wine of the area/bodega really shone through. It was great to visit the bodega and learn more and the sherry making process, the history of it before heading off to have some tastings. On this tour you really get to experience a full range of biologically aged wines and the subtle difference that a wine can have, for example, depending on its location, age and even the type of wind most present in the bodega in which it is being aged. All of this being explained and curated by Erin, who did a fantastic job of talking us through the wines whilst also managing another group and just generally being fun and passionate about sherry - so thank you very much, we will definitely be recommending this tour to others.

(Translated by Google) The visit to the winery is entertaining and interesting, informatively clarifying the winemaking process for the production of chamomile wine primarily. Impress the ship they call "the cathedral". What they call the museum has recreations and information panels on the ground, grapes and winemaking, as well as a summary of the family's history. It is nothing special but it is fine to spend ten minutes while waiting for the start of the visit. At the end of the visit three wines are tasted, and it is literally a tasting because the portions are reduced for this purpose.

I had a wonderful experience at Bodegas Barbadillo with my group of English speaking friends. Our tour guide, Catherine, was knowledgeable and personable. She took the time to answer all questions and gave an incredible explanation of the sherry process and the history of sherry in the region. I've been on several sherry tours and this one is by far the best. If you're looking for an amazing sherry tour in English, look no further than a tour at Barbadillos with Catherine. It will not disappoint!
