Cost casual place for good Spanish food. I had some tapas and wine. English menu available. Friendly service.

the waitress kept asking if I was sure about my order. I had to keep insisting that I indeed wanted a salad. When they brought it over, it was four pieces of lettuce over a bowl of ice, and a tiny dipping cup with pulverised chicken and cesar sauce. Pathetic. Very nice location though...

I work in hospitality and you should never bring out the second course before the table has finished their first course. Ours was brought out and there was very little available space on the table. That said the food was good and plentiful.

So, I've been there a third time, and I've to say that it became a little pricey. Quality of food is definitely good, the place is nice, but waiters and kitchen are overwhelmed; they start to miss dishes or forget things. We waited a long long time for just a few tapas. It's a pity, because it's a very good place. Also, the playground it's just in front of the terrace, and kids can play safely there.

Great location for a night out with friends and colleagues. Food is good, varied and lots of options. We ordered quite a lot of dishes, had one of each basically. Food is good, not spectacular but good. Drinks variety is good, maybe only downside was that there were not enough from.each variety and needed to change to something else. In our case, the red wine got depleted. But other than this, is a good location to spend an evening out with friends.

Had an amazing dinner here. Service is great as well. The mussels are great! Loved the Pepito Pintxo as well. Will return again!

Fabulous food. Menu in Catalan and English. Well looked after during our visit with some wonderful recommendations from the chef!

You should definitely come over and try it. The scampi are amazing, the beef tatar as well. Totally recommend!!! They always have some pace for one at the bar so even if you travel single just come in

A place to eat if you are in Sant Cugat. Ours favourite meat and octopus

Very good tapas and ambience. Slightly superior and clipped attitude of staff which was interesting. Didn't spoil the evening though! Good calamari, gambas and huevos revueltos.

Amazing tapas bar, food is delicious, and mojito ice cream is the one to die for.

Such a delightful evening with friends. Samplings of the hummus, fish and chips, croquettes and canniloni, all topped off with lemon meringue pie and cheesecake. The service was some of the friendliest and best I've had anywhere. The three of us are Sooo stuffed...with smiles on our faces!

La Barra is consistently good and one of our go to places when we are in Sant Cugat. What I really like about it is that the menu is simple and straightforward, you are not overwhelmed with too many options. This makes it easy to decide what to have. No matter what you choose, you can be sure it will be great. In addition, it's a great place for kids as there is a playground right outside.

Excellent food and good service. All the dishes were well presented. The ambience is great and suitable for post work parties. Recommend getting the beef tartare, croquettas and squid

Nice atmosphere and central location in Sant Cugat. The rations are a bit small, specially the Galician octopus and the croquettes. The salmon and mango tartar was missing some dressing. My favorite dish was the fried fish with lemon zest. I missed some more Catalan wine options on the drinks menu.

Rude staff. Took 20 minutes to even notice us although the bar was empty.

Very nice food and drinks with great service. They kindly had a menu translated to English which helped us decide on what to eat.

Good food, a little pretentious and definitely not cheap. Good for groups and to share tapas. On the negative side, I asked to call me a taxi and they never did. A solo diner customer is not their priority.
