We were disappointed, complicated menu where dish descriptions were not clear and the waiters didn't seem to know either, or at least were not of much help despite being in constant radio comms with the kitchen. Menu is just a list of stuff rather than being clearer about starters, mains and plates that can be shared. We are pescatarian and pretty flexible, but my wife doesn't eat raw fish. So 70% of the menu was out for my wife. If you do like raw seafood and meat you will probably get on better, but for us the menu was limited. For the vegetarian dishes we had it was expensive/ little value for money. Overall a place that is trying too hard but doesn't deliver. We have been to both sister restaurants and they are great bit this one is not for us,

Fabulous little restaurant with fantastic food and wonderful hosts. We loved the fried cauliflower and the steak was grilled to perfection (good meat quality too). The wine recommendation was top notch too, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We will be back!

Amazing food experience. We tried different menu items including the ceviche, soup, rice dish, prawn and pistachio cream and loved it all. Our children (3 under 7 years) devoured the fried chicken. Beautiful interior and atmosphere. Highly recommend this great food experience.

Great fancy restaurant. The food selection was interesting. The only not inclusive thing was that they served free starter made of pork, though, if you don’t eat meat - that would look rude.

Hands down to the Team working in Donde Mario. When you go to a place and they tell you "everything is good"; well I must admit that here it's the pure truth. Just returned from Donde Mario and was blown away by the quality of the experience. By far the best gastronomic experience we've had on the island. From the moment we stepped inside we felt a great ambience which was followed up by each dish being creative, balanced, well executed and beautifully presented. The front of house staff is cheerful, knowledgeable and relaxed whilst being super attentive to providing a great experience. I hope to have the chance to return in the future.

Super cool! This restaurant is a real gem, and if by any chance your staying around here, you must pass by the place. The dishes we had were so exquisite, they have traditional plates with a modern twist. My favorite part of the dinner was dessert! We had the passion fruit crème brûlée and the cheesecake with rhubarb jam... and it was delicious! They were like nothing we've ever tasted before.

The food at Donde Mario was exceptional! Every dish from flavours to texture and presentation was fantastic! Was a little disappointed not to find pisco cocktails on the menu, considering it’s a Peruvian restaurant. The restaurant inside is also very nicely done, although too bright for my liking. It did seem to be lacking some life or vibe… The service was also somewhat disappointing, slow, not particularly friendly and not very attentive. Had to ask for water three times from every single waiter until it finally got there some 15 minutes later. Overall, worth it for the food and I hope service improves to add a little bit of spark to an overall experience

The beeeeest restaurant I've ve eaten! The food will leave you speechless! I recommend that you try croquettes is a gastronomic orgasm, the ceviche is unparalleled you will never forget it!. The truth is that all the appetizers and the dishes are crazy! You will enjoy 100% sure! My favorite place to eat in the world! Thanks everything was perfect. Everything you ask will love! All the staff is very attentive and friendly! The place has a very charming energy! You will not regret recommended 100%! 💯💯💯

Everything was amazing! I love love love Peruvian ceviche, and finally I found the one I love in Tenerife, it's here at Donde Mario😋 leche de tigre, fresh smell of lime cilantro...how sweet potatoes were prepared... Just beautiful and delicios!! We also tried Cochinillo the pork dish, perfectly cooked with delicious apple sauce. Guacamole as starter, highly recommended. The freshness of it, colours, we just enjoyed it very much. Their wine is delicious, and their own bread. We were full but we needed to try desserts too🤭 Restaurant space is very beautiful, people are very professional and friendly🌸 We appreciated how they can explain the dishes in English too, thank you🙏

Delicious! This place should have a Michelin star. You have to try the squid with black rice and any salad with the tomatoes they grow themselves in the garden across the street.

Very pleasant dinner in a beautiful location. We are both vegetarian and we had no problem finding options that suited us, even if the vegetarian/vegan offer could be more wide. All in all, the courses we chose were particular and very tasty (especially the couliflower and the desserts)! The service ran smoothly, with very kind waiters! The price is more than fair (25/30€ per person). Parking easily accessible and a lot of space inside. Highly recommended!
