This place is referred by many as legendary. It has been in this part of the original Chinatown for at least five, maybe even six, decades. The food is mostly traditional style with some Panamanianized dishes. For example, the beef chow fun is similar to what I have had in Hong Kong. The fried rice with chicken is more Panamanian style. All of it is delicious. Some will even refer to this as the very first Chinese restaurant in Panama. Though I do not believe that is factually true. There were likely a few others that came first. But one thing is for sure, though. This is one of the original restaurants. A true original restaurant of the original Chinatown. Right outside is historical Avenue B. It is situated between two significant areas. To the west is Pentonal which houses the very first main street. Before large malls sprung up and drove customers away, Pentonal was the go-to shopping district. To the east is Terraplen, another historical area currently undergoing changes.

Pretty disappointing, tbh - flavorless fried rice, oily duck and mushroom dish. Dim sum only available in the morning. Bathrooms had no soap and dripping wet door handles.

Good food, small menu. Don't let the smaller menu deter you from trying them out. They have the favorite items for dim sum, BBQ pork buns, and huge wontons. Yum yum.

The food and the service was great. It was a nice break from the local Panamanian food. The wonton soup was a very large portion with noodles and bbq pork. The duck was delicious. They have remodeled the interior and have a little left to finish.

Came here with a friend after seeing good reviews. Was extremely disappointed in the food quality. The rice was old and dry, the restaurant was out of many dishes and the two we had - ginger beef and shrimp & Chinese cabbage - were awful. The beef tasted rubbery. Also, the service was awkward. Before I tasted my food, they asked us to pay for the food. Big mistake. Will never return or recommend for anyone, even someone I dislike.

Me gusto. I have eaten sweat sour corvina which was a good portion with a lot of sauce, the ordered rice went well with. We also ate the Wan tan soup which was very tasty. The ambiente is a little rusty but it didn't matter for me. Would eat here again any time.

The first and longest running Chinese restaurant in Panama. This is the best food I’ve had since I’ve been to Panama, and it’s my 3rd visit to Panama. I will keep coming here and next time will update the review with photos. I highly recommend this place!

When it's open you can't beat the price! Typical Chinese food service with amazing prices. A large rice for 7$ can feed a family and I'm not kidding, take a look at that plate (that's an oval plate).
