Well, I did not have a great experience with the Jackson Medical Group. Nancy Warner and Dr. Jackson were less than helpful before I discovered I had breast cancer. I knew my medical history (mom took DES and I was on hormones from the OBGYN), and all I asked to take was a needed hormone blood test for my hormone levels at 52 yrs old. Nancy snapped at me and said, "You have no hormones." To which I replied, I'm taking hormones. They approved regular blood tests but refused to cover hormone testing so when I got to Pacific Labs I asked and they did it. I paid for it. Hence, Dr. Jackson and Nancy Warner proceeded to write me a letter and canceled my membership with the Group. Dr. Cummings is a good doctor but when I was canceled I tried to tell them what happened and they refused by coverage. It's history now- my breast cancer, ovarian removal, and reconstruction. I'm sorry that it ended the way it did but I have found peace and a better association of doctors that know how to listen to their patients.

I had a very disappointing & negative experience here. I had planned on making this my new primary care doctor's office but after my visit I went home and called my insurence and signed up with a different doctor. The only positive thing I have to say is the receptionists were very friendly & helpful. The nurse who took me back made zero eye contact, no smile, no patient repore at all. The doctor I saw was the same: no smile and a sort of "sour" demeanor. She seemed as if she questioned all of my diagnosis, as if I couldn't be correct and just seemed very unbeleiving of the things I was telling her. When I gave her a list of my specialists she informed me that they didn't work with one of them, not due to insurence reasons, and that I would need to establish with their specialist of choice even though I had been seeing my specialist for a while. She said she would call Dr. Jackson and see if he would make an exception but she didnt think that would be the case. Then she told me that their office didnt prescribe the medication I had been on for over 15 years for a severe muscle cramping syndrome I have that is related to muscular dystrophy, not a pain medication, and I was told I would have to ask one of my specialists for it. After an hour of being told that their office didnt do this or that or prescribe this or that or work with this or that doctor, it just seemed more trouble that I wanted to deal with. My medical issues are already such a hardship on my quality of life that I just don't need one more thing making my life complicated. I don't understand why a doctor's office has so many narrow parameters within which they deal with medical problems. The bottom line was that I didn't feel like I was in good, hands and like my healh was a priority. ItimporepatientAnyway, I definitely do not recommend this doctor's office.

Avoid this place. Went in concerned about my heart (my father, my grandfather, and my brother all have heart issues) and Dr. Cummings, who signs his name to all his photographs on the wall, came in and literally wouldn't shake my hand but insisted on giving me a fist bump. He was cavalier and dismissive - had some other place to be. He waived my possible heart condition off as "probably nothing" and was eager to get out of the door. He didn't listen to me at all. Didn't strike me as particularly competent or friendly. I'm from a family of doctors. I love doctors. I did NOT have a good experience here.

Made an appointment with dr jallilian only for a referral for a podiatris. I repeated called for week asking why I was not getting the appointment to see him. 8 moths later I received a call, it was the dr. He was as lilke oh I see you need a referral for your ankle, here it is. Also you owe me $50 for making this PHONE CALL not appointment 8 months after your request. A few months after I requested the appointment I even called my insurance to complain they said the would follow up which is probably the only he called at all. I’m having extreme psychological issue and am having an extremely difficult time finding a psychiatrist. I made another appointment last week to go In and update him on my psychological issue which are life threatening. I therewas an extreme language issue with this dr. Jalillian guy. I understood about ever 10th word he said. He was as moving so fast and aggressively that I was EXTREMELY uncomfortable especially since I couldn’t understand the word he was saying. That was yesterday 10 minutes ago I received a call from the medical group saying that they are going to deny services to me because people are afraid me. I’m 6’5” 215lb athlete. I am suffering from extreme head trauma which I discussed with dr Jillian. I can’t count the # of concussions I’ve had. I’m worried I could have something wrong with my brain that causes extreme anxiety and suicidal thoughts. So in conclusion these people call themselves medical professionals, THEY ARE NOT. They turned me away and all I needed was a referral to a psychiatrist. These people are not interested in helping people. Just taking weight vital signs billing your insurance and also collecting that co pay. These are not drs. Do not go here, literally go anywhere else.

We were automatically assigned to this  office by our (private) insurance provider. Despite the awful reviews, we decided to give them a chance. When I called to make an appointment, I answered questions about my insurance for almost 10 minutes before I was put on an extended hold an just gave up. THEY NEVER EVEN ASKED WHAT MY APPOINTMENT WAS FOR. This office is very much in the insurance business and not healthcare. Listen to the reviews. Do not go here.

I’m never overwhelmed by instructions on continued care and feel that Dr. Jalilian is legitimately invested in my health.

My deaf partner attempted to make an appointment at this practice. In doing so she requested that an interpreter be provided for her as is required by the Americans with Disabilities Act. Dr. Jackson refused to provide an interpreter, and accused my partner of threatening to sue when bringing up the Americans with Disabilities act. Dr. Jackson and Nubia, the manager, have been completely uncooperative on this matter and have resulted to hanging up on our phone calls. Be very wary of this unprofessional practice. I hope that individuals with disabilities, and abled people, will avoid this humiliating and poorly managed practice. The Hippocratic Oath is certainly not being followed here, how is denying a deaf woman an interpreter doing no harm or injustice?

I've been a patient of Dr. Jalilian’s for years. He's a stellar, no nonsense physician, with a wonderful personality, and is incredibly knowledgeable. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.
