This hands down is the worst hamburger habit I have ever been too. The customer service was horrible. I left the place so unsatisfied and was very offended by the staff. When I received my order the hamburger was incorrect, so I went back up to the window and said my hamburger was not made as I requested. The guy asked for my receipt and then proceeded to tell me that what the girl put down as my order was what I received. Obviously there was a language miscommunication and she didn't understand what I said cause that's not what I told her. He basically told me oh well that's what you ordered and refused to correct it and said it was my fault. I know what I said and know I was very loud and clear, but he said too bad and refused to take anymore of his time to talk or do anything about it. In addition all of the straws were broken at the tops. The back patio straight smelled like someone pissed all over the area and smelled musty like a homeless guy lived in planters. Hopefully the photos will explain my dissatisfaction further.

Excellent service. Fast too. Can't beat the new crispy chicken sandwich and Oreo cookie shake!!! My favorite fast food burger in SB.

This was my first time trying The Habit, and it was just as good as I'd hoped! Delicious burger at a reasonable price, and fast and friendly service. Really liked having a buzzer to know when my order was ready, rather than just a number.

Had to visit this spot as we just got THB in Richland. First off the people there are always friendly. The food never absolutely never disappoints. I love the tempura green beans. Ok correction, I love everything in the menu.

Good hamburger. Not artisan, not fast food. Charburger!! For very reasonable prices. My go to is the double charburger lettuce wraps no cheese with grilled onions and a side of ranch. Gotta be healthy you know! Their fried are good but their onion rings are even better. Gotta get an extra side of ranch for those. They have plenty of seating in back and in front and on state st. The only downside to this place is the amount of homeless people that congregate out front on state st. I hardly ever come to this location because of that reason. You're better off going to la cumbre or the OG habit in old town goleta.

Was there Monday afternoon. Cashier was really rude. When I ask her for a chicken teriyaki salad she sad we don’t Cary those. Witch I tried looking it up a different way and told her I always ask for that. Then she said oh ok. When I went to get my food I ask for two ranch orders she trews them At me and started laughing with her coworkers. It only happens here at this location makes me feel so embarrassed. If I go to a place and I want certain things it’s because that’s how I enjoy them even if I have to pay more for anything else.

They should really get rid of the cashier she can't figure out how to count the money or take the order in the timely manner, it's the only reason there's a long line everyday is because the person taking the orders is slow. A young woman with dark hair I think her name was Chloe

Had the most rude cashier taking the order - please learn to treat customers (and all human beings) with respect. Recommend going to all other businesses nearby that have basic human etiquette.

Best burger around great staff only concern is the homeless people that come stand over the table and ask for your food before you have even taken a bite , rude homeless men do not give them anything. !!! There was s some time a woman with a small dog with a sign that sits quietly out of the way give food or money to her and not these rude men . Aggressive panhandling should never be rewarded!!! Other wise habit Burger is absolutely fantastic

Where do I begin my order had no type of flavor French fries was not good. Cashier did not seem very happy to be taking orders and for some reason this location does not honor the app incentives. I wish I can give a zero stars.

No toilets, but pretty decent burgers. The price is low and you get good fastfood burgers here, but it’s not anything like „the best burger“ I had in my Cali trip.

This place is always popular and for good reason. This is a great location because it's convenient to downtown but you should expect it to be busy most of the time.

OK burger, not expensive and tasty. Burger well done without any pink. Good place for a cheap bite, seating outside. Sweet potato fries didn't taste of much.

Bought two burgers and a vanilla shake with malt. The shake tasted like expired milk and they didn't include malt. I tried calling their number to avoid writing a bad review and letting them directly but it goes directly to voice mail.

Writing this on behalf of my partner. Made them wait a long time for a burger and fries. They were on their lunch break and spent all that time waiting even though it seemed like every other customer was taken care of. They had to get back to work and tried to explain it to a cashier but there was no cashier present for most of the time waiting for their food. Once a cashier made themselves available, they took their receipt but did not offer a refund at all. Very horrible experience.

Great location in the middle of bustling state Street. Purely outdoor seating but can't go wrong with that on a nice sunny day in beautiful Santa Barbara. Who doesn't like people watching anyway

December 17th @ 3:15 - 3:30 pm The "Milpas" is the habit I grew up with. The one on state street is good but this is the location me and my father would eat at while he was alive here on earth, it is/was something special to me.the Customer service is #1 and the burgers are in my opinion best..THAT BEING said up here @the NAMPA Idaho location is a completely different subject. I've been completely ignored and just treated Differently. I'm posting here because it doesn't go anywhere @ the NAMPA Idaho location please help It won't let me post the video of the interaction with the manager and general manager of this location. How can I complain higher than the general manager at a location I believe this is the third or fourth time WE/I have walked out of this location The Customer Service is "no bueno" and I order for 5+ or more when I go. I've never just ordered for me it's always been for my family of 5 or more. Didn't know I needed a membership or had to be part of the cool kids to eat there.

I frequent this Habit for their turkey burgers. Santa Barbara Habits serve this option and I love it. Usually have them sub their sourdough bread instead of the grain bun. Grilled onions, cheese, lettuce and their sauce. Very delicious. Ordered a side ceasar salad and the tempura green beans. Plenty of parking, friendly employees and quick service for eat in or take out.
