There was 4 tables outside in total being used, including the one I was at. Two Hispanic customers, 1 Asian and 1 white. During the entire time I was there, TWICE a Chick-fil-A worker came out and brought extra napkins to the white family and asked if they needed anything, asked If everything was okay, Refilled their drinks BUT never asked any of the other guests or acknowledged. Unacceptable.

I really don’t get what people like about this. I even went back to try it a few more times. Yes the chicken is better quality. However, their plain chicken sandwich tastes like my public school cafeteria’s chicken sandwich just with thicker better chicken. Their spicy pimento sandwich was better. But their nuggets and strips were horrible. The lemonade with andded star berry syrup just had a sludge of strawberry at bottom - not stirred at all. Overall, dry - uninspired, unimpressive. Also, when you use their app, it saves no time. Still have to wait in that awful 3-4 lane wide catastrophe of a logistics plan.

Consistently very good - food was served hot and the seasoning of the chicken fillet was excellent. Hash browns were excellently prepared without being too greasy. The coffee was mediocre but this was expected, and this was largely compensated by a service that was way above average than one can find in a typical fast-food joint. KFC can back off lol 88% A-

Of the past three times I've gone through the drive-thru, twice I have been charged for my meal, asked to park and wait, sat for 20-30 minutes, and never recieved food. Going up to ask someone about it never works, they're busy and don't know anything about my order. At the end of the day, I guess it's on me for not learning my lesson the first time I had to drive away after not getting the food I paid for. From a statistical point of view, at this point I would actually be better off financially if, instead of going to Chick-fil-A, I flipped a coin and lit a $10 bill on fire every time I got heads.

Overhyped with limited taste spectrum but they do it good (chicken). Traffic bums out some but that's the price of success. Service is top notch and efficient.

Always great food , unfortunately you have to spend about 60 seconds with your car halfway out in the street because the lines are so long .

The food is good. But it literally has so many chemicals added into the chicken. As well as I got the larger fries and it added $3 more and it was like 5 fries more.

I truly appreciate all the effort and hard work of all team members at this location I love coming here but I want to say that approximately two weeks ago unfortunately my visit to this location was not a happy experience I had my order taken by a young lady by the name of Erin which treated me very rudely I figuered that Erin was not having a good day So tonight I decided to give it another try but to my surprise this young lady happened to be working again and this time not only was she rude Erin didn’t take my order she sent another team member making a statement “ I just took the order for the black car “ While she stood aside my vehicle making unpleasant comments about other customers with 2 other team members. I felt so uncomfortable I asked to speak with a Manager Whiich by the way was super nice and professional I want to thank him and the outstanding team you have but I strongly believe Erin is not part of the team and unfortunately when you get treated by a team member with no customer service skills and you are being disrespected and treated unfairly no matter how great everything else may be you just won’t come back

The service is really sweet there, always coming up to me and asking if I need anything, which is pretty rare for a fast food place. The drive thru is very long, but compared to the In-n-out one, it's good. Parking is nice, I've never had a problem parking there. Every time I go here, I order the Chick-fil-a deluxe sandwich and the nuggets along with the chick fil a sauce (definitely recommend!!!)

The only Chick-fil-A in the City of Santa Barbara. The drive through was updated with multiple lanes due to its popularity and location. If it’s busy staff are outside to take orders.

  • 3/5 Anibal F. 8 months ago on Google
Food is good, we all know that but 3 lanes to order food might solve the traffic problem, unfortunately that created more work than this young kids can handle. My only advice is open your food and visually inspect it as they will take your order and perhaps repeat it back correctly but when you get home and see it's the wrong order for one of your kids... You can imagine the rest.

Great food, good service, took a bit to get the food, but they were slammed, so I guess I can't complain too much. Never had a bad visit at a Chick-fila-A, and I have been to many of them far and wide for decades. Decent prices and funny advertising, what not to love about this place?

They’ve clearly got some process issues to work out since reopening. I choose to do mobile order pickup to skip the line but it’s not clear if there’s an expedited pickup area and instead you are forced into the drive through or struggle to find a park. Parking spots to the side aren’t usable despite no signs indicating so and parking space lines still clearly marked. Had to move my car and wait over 15 min for an order that was 1 sandwich and 1 drink. I’ve eaten at many chil fil a’s cross country and this was the slowest service.

This Chick-fil-a needs to learn from its competitor In-N-Out. Their new drive thru process is smooth and efficient, whereas this recently updated drive thru is worse than before. The only difference is they added a third line and then parking spaces to wait. It’s luck of the draw; if you choose to fill in the wrong line, you’ll wait forever while everyone else’s food is being made. The staff wasn’t friendly, not apologetic for the wait. Once I received my meal, the fries were cold and chicken club sandwich was nothing special. Even as a club with bacon and cheese it’s basic with not much flavor. Based on this, I don’t plan on returning.

This is a strange one. It's addictive delicious food like their chicken sandwich is, but it's also a nuisance to the city because this business backs up state st and disrupts traffic for the residents. I can't believe the city lets them get away with it. Granted they remodeled to add additional drive through lanes and they hired a security guard to wave traffic. Its still a plight on the city and they should not be allowed to operate in the city. 4 stars for delicious fast food.

Excellent service at the counter nice selection of small sandwiches. I don't really see what the massive exuberance of Chick-fil-A is related to but it's nice to have good service

The staff here is amazing. We are inside and the cashier was very attentive to me and my two young children. And the kitchen/drive thru staff were hustling like crazy, but they were all professional and nice. The food is great, of course. I highly recommend the kale crunch side salad.

Great food - this drive through though is very busy and at times spills out into the street which becomes a problem. Other wise great place to eat Indoor and outdoor seating **Update** Visited on 12-17-22 and there wasn't much of a line at the drive through BUT the wait was STILL lengthy. They had several drivers pull into numbered parking stops The food is always great this time included

Always packed, but have their drive-thru down to a science and get you through quickly. Food is delish and they've never gotten my order incorrect even once. Love them!

I don’t know what they’re doing to the chicken, but damn is it good. Got me stalking around Sunday when I know they’re closed… This is definitely the finest purveyor of chicken in sb, and undoubtedly the best fast food chain with a much higher quality feel.

  • 5/5 Austin M. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice staff. The drive-thru was quick and exactly what I ordered.

  • 1/5 RobO 1 year ago on Google
I still think the City of SB should fine them for every car blocking traffic. Ridiculous! And they get your order WRONG. Try and call for a manager. Impossible to get ANY one to answer. It goes to VM and the only time they ever called back was WEEK later. Simply do not go there, ever.

Enjoyed the fries and the chicken was pretty good Didn't go in so don't know what the atmosphere is like but the service was great

Maybe it was one of those days, maybe just bad luck, but they made my order wrong, twice! I mean, I only asked for two sandwiches, nothing complicated that confused people on the kitchen, two simple sandwiches and I had to return them twice! They didn’t tasted like usually do, I think the frustration made them sour. I’m not planning in coming back any time soon. The manager acted like he didn’t care at all.

These places are never without a huge lineup. I don’t fully understand that. So much better chicken elsewhere. This place no different. Small difficult parking lot but they are organised and kept it moving. Order was correct and good. Mac and cheese is really good and grilled nuggets are a nice change from fried.

I enjoy the occasional Chick-fil-A and this place does a decent enough job of frying up a thousand calorie meal. Frozen coffee and lemonade are quite good as well.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great food, comfortable atmosphere. 100% recommended! I will be back!

The only bad Chick-fil-A I've been to in my entire life. Horribly slow, dirty inside. The workers don't even know what a chicken biscuit is. They were declared a public nuisance because of the traffic they cause. Being from Georgia, I feel bad that this is Santa Barbara's only Chick-fil-A experience.

A little pricey and a clusterF of a drive-thru/ parking lot but better than anything else (fastfood)on the block! Not really much to say other than get that drive-thru managed a little better. And with like 4 people out there they should be able to accomplish that with ease. Good luck trying to park in there though with those 2 lines.

Chick Fil A was good a long time ago when i have gone. Im not sure about now with the pandemic ruining everything? Someone made a comment about when it use to be Burger King that there would be long lines out of the drive thru. Burger king never had long lines from what me and my family remember. Burger king was always calm and still is whenever you go to the locations out of town. Maybe the area where Sears use to be would work out for Chick Fil A but that place would need some remodeling and adjustments. The building is big the parking is huge perfect for enormous cars etc. Especially for travelers to make a quick stop. Then to be able to get back on the freeway. People would be able to eat calmly as well inside or outside of the restaurant if it could be a possibility.

These people were so freaking nice! We stopped in on our way home and it was super clean and the staff came by very so often to ask if we needed anything or if they could take our trash. Also, I watched one of the managers sit with an older retiree who just wanted someone to talk to, for like an hour! Who does that anymore?!? Love it!
