This place is amazing. So tranquil and relaxing. The massage therapist are top notch. The only thing that continues to be a little disappointing is the front desk staff. They have no customer service skills which can put a damper on things. One time I called to see if they had anything fun or special going on for valentines day and the guy said no. Then I looked on thier Instagram and turns out they actually did have some fun stuff going on. I try not to let them spoil the vibe but its still a little annoying. Plus its such a nice place but the front desk might be losing them business. 🤔

Unfortunately, I had a negative experience this Day Spa with the management. When I got there, I saw that they were running a promotion for a gift card that if you bought $85 you would get $100 gift card to use. Didn’t know that there was a promo code to use and so therefore I didn’t get the discount. When I called the Spa to see if there was anything that they could do to accommodate that I was told there was nothing that they could do. I feel that there were no attempts made to try to work with me on finding a compensation especially since I spent close to $500 on services that day. Customer service is not overrated and it’s a shame that this day spa, where I had such a lovely time with my friends turned into an experience like this.

Hubby got me a gift card for my 40th bday. I had only been here once before but literally 10years ago or so. Everyone was super nice & friendly, especially while I opted for the little tour, as I wasn't quite sure what I could or couldn't do while waiting for my massage. The swedish massage itself was great! Wish I could remember her name, I think it was Randy. She was very nice, soft spoken & very accommodating. I added the hot stones to my massage & that was great. I decided to shower there (I didn't when I was there 10yrs ago) & glad I did. Showers were clean, didn't smell mildewy or anything & I love how they have everything you need, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lotion all w/in the shower. Great experience all around.

It was my first time trying this spa. Went in last week with two friends. A couple days before our appointment, we noticed that my friends Trifecta package was missing one of her three services (hello, it’s a trifecta package). They had accidently canceled one of her services but left the other two. When she called to get it fixed they first told her they did not have any more availability as they booked over her slot, but thankfully they were able to move that person to another time. When we got there, we saw they had a Mother’s Day gift card promotion of $100 for only $85. Some of our packages were $200-300 each so we purchased multiple gift cards to use toward our services, HOWEVER did not know you had to enter a promo code to get the discount. The guy at the front mentioned it says you can’t use the same day of purchase but that we could try to see if the eGift comes through in time. We received the eGift instantly, no problem and were able to apply to our final bill at checkout. We called the next day to see if they could adjust our bill after noticing we did not get the gift cards at the discounted promotion price but since we already used the gift cards there was nothing they could do. The manager in charge took our situation lightly and did not offer even a proper solution. I asked if we purchased additional gift cards for a future appointment if they could credit us the difference on top of that and was told they could not. Unfortunately, we all had a bad experience and will never book here again. I will just add that my friend booked two services for a body treatment and massage. No one ever mentioned to her on the phone or even checking in that the body treatment comes with a massage so she ended up paying for two separate massages.

I booked an appointment for 2 and the person that booked the appointment had booked for 1 person only. The manager in charge took my situation lightly and did not offer even a proper solution. If I could give half a star I would. They charge if you cancel inside of 24 hours. There isn't a place for anyone to sit even inside the lobby. Bad experience and will never book here again.

A disappointing update to the review I left 2 years ago, but a vastly different spa experience. This time everything from booking my day to buying products left something to be desired. When I called to book my day, I was offered two options, neither of which fit my schedule very well, so I chose the best fit. I booked the Trifecta package of a massage, facial and nail service. Now - I did say in my last review that I would not waste my money on a nail service here again after my pedicure last time did not last through the trip home, but with the Trifecta package the nail service is basically free, so I thought, why not, it may have improved? I was told the only time available for a Trifecta package with all services offered sequentially (on the days I was looking for) was 9:00 AM. I booked and got excited for my spa day. Day of, I arrive at 8:30 for spa opening knowing I will only have 30 minutes to enjoy the spa amenities prior to my first service. By 8:40 I called to see when they would be opening the spa. They did open directly after my phone call and get me promptly checked in but by time I had only a few minutes before my services would start. I was sorely disappointed to find that the hot tub was not filled. I could steam and use the solarium but that's it. My trifecta services included a massage, facial and nail service. Massage was fine but not in any way relaxing. The masseuse talked through the entire massage. Even when I did not continue to engage in the conversation. Facial was nice, calming, but a touch aggressive on the extractions. Others I have had were a bit gentler with the extraction portion. And then there is the manicure. If I can give you advice, it is do not have a nail service here. The first time my pedicure was a waste. The chair was not comfortable, the pedicure felt very rushed and the polish had begun to rub off on the ride home. This time the manicure was similar. Except it is performed in the open solarium which is just awkward and the nail technician, while very nice, doesn't seem interested in your relaxation or comfort, just in completing your service. Two nails looked melted off before I left the spa that afternoon. I am writing this review less than a week later and only 3 nails have survived - none unscathed. Finally, the facility itself is really beginning to show wear. The rain showers (I tried 3 different ones) spray in many directions including directly out through the curtain soaking my robe. They were kind enough to bring me another. The curtains were missing hooks. Things were certainly not as clean as the last time I visited. But the complaint that nearly every woman I met had was that the hot tub wasn't functional so none of us got to enjoy it. When it was finally full, after my second service, it was cold. After my third service it was warm, but even by the time I left, late in the day, it never got hot. Those of us brave enough to try it were all disappointed. When I mentioned my frustration with the lack of amenity use to the desk staff at check out, there was not even an apology. The esthetician had pulled product for me. I said I would be returning later in the week to pick it up and was told that was fine, that this was a common practice and it was suggested that I snap a picture of the product for reference. When I returned, the desk attendant was so irritated at helping me get these products, which were all new to me that I nearly walked out without my $250 in products. If it hadn't been for the initial kindness of the esthetician, There is no way I would have purchased. I hope that Ivy Day Spa is reading these reviews and has plans to do a little better. I would love to come back, I even talked with staff about membership, but seeing the state of the spa, I don't see how a membership could benefit me. The only member I ran into during my visit was very frustrated because she could not even use the hot tub after she finished her workout at the nearby gym.

I was given a gift cert, called to make appt asked for deep tissue massage. The gal on phone despite having my cert number kept telling me my gift amount was lower than what on the gift cert. I specifically asked if I could use the $15 balance towards gratuity…her response yes! I told her I did not want to come in and have any problems. She said someone would call me back about my gift cert total…they didn’t. On my appt I bring exact amount of $ get to counter & they tell me I can’t use any portion of the gift card for gratuity and I can’t cash it out. So what happens I end up with the very prob I called to avoid. My deep tissue with firm hands was no where deep or firm enough. I reiterated I wanted super firm at the time of my visit. As I was leaving I overheard a gal not happy with her massage, her friend replies you know this place its always hit or miss. Too expensive IMO to be hit or miss. I will not be returning.

Warm greeting from the receptionist at check in and quiet . I checked in early to get some quiet time in the lounge area where they served flavored water ,tea and coffee and small snacks. It would have been nice to have cucumber available with the cold towels like their photos on the site ,but overall it was nice.

So nice to go ahead and spend some time in the lounge area first. A little pricey for massage but overall a nice experience.

Wonderful experience at the Ivy Day spa. My boyfriend and I came here to relax after a tiring week of sightseeing before heading on flight back home. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and we’re so happy we came here. The spa is laid out beautifully and is a perfect spot to get away and relax. When we come back to California, we definitely will be back❤️ Thank you!

I've been here a few times in the last couple of years and had mostly good experiences. I always watch for the discounts because I feel like they're a little pricy for the area. But this time my experience was different. When I called to make my appointment the girl on the phone wasn't worried about what I wanted or needed at all. Her only concern was securing my credit card number and making sure that I understood that less than 24 hours cancellation meant I paid the full fee. I was a little annoyed with this and also annoyed that I had to call back 3 additional times just to get a couple of simple questions answered. There used to be much more information available on the website. But sadly the phone calls pale in comparison to the dismissive way the desk staff treated me and others while I was there. Towels needed replenishing, a blow dryer wasn't working and what nearly everyone was upset about, the hot tub either wasn't hot or wasn't full. When attendants were in the locker room they were polite and helpful. But when others or I attempted to ask for what we needed from the front desk our requests were met with irritation and excuses. The fact that no one even bothered to apologize for the conditions of the spa when I brought us concerns added insult to injury.
