My
daughter
recently
needed
a
baby
tooth
removed
on
account
of
a
deep
cavity
that
had
led
to
infection.
As
I
watched
Dr.
Fang
expertly
remove
the
tooth,
I
became
so
grateful
for
her
skill
and
competence.
My
poor
daughter
had
been
very
uncomfortable
for
days,
and
was
scared
for
the
whole
procedure.
The
removal
was
quick,
but
the
whole
experience
had
been
rough
on
her,
and
there
had
been
tears
in
the
dental
chair.
Once
Dr.
Fang
verified
all
was
as
it
should
be,
instead
of
quickly
moving
along
to
her
next
patient,
she
took
as
much
time
as
was
needed
to
visit
with
my
daughter
and
acknowledge
how
scary
and
painful
the
procedure
had
been.
She
told
my
daughter
she
had
been
brave
and
had
made
it
through
to
the
happy
resolution,
and
there
was
a
life
lesson
in
that.
She
will
have
other
times
that
are
scary,
unknown,
and
sometimes
painful,
but
just
like
what
she
had
just
experienced,
she
could
be
brave,
and
she
will
make
it
through
those
things,
too.
She
shared
experiences
from
her
own
life
of
doing
hard
things
with
courage
that
allowed
her
to
not
be
overcome
but
to
conquer.
I
was
so
touched!
I
had
figured
my
daughter
might
hate
the
dentist
after
the
ordeal,
but
in
the
midst
of
this
wonderful
talk,
she
told
Dr.
Fang
that
she
liked
her.
I
couldn’t
believe
it!
Thank
you,
Dr.
Fang
for
sharing
your
gift
of
dentistry
with
us
(she
is
gifted)
and
then
going
the
extra
mile
to
help
us
feel
heard
and
seen
and
then
giving
us
understanding
to
process
it
all.
Dr.
Fang
goes
above
and
beyond.
