We
visited
Marston's
late
one
Sunday
morning
after
a
memory
of
a
great
experience
years
ago
at
their
Pasadena
location.
Our
diets
and
preferences
have
changed
a
little
bit
(ie
my
gluten-free
wife
was
no
longer
going
to
order
the
blueberry
pancakes
which
she
remembers
as
being
phenomenal)
but
we
found
an
extensive
menu
with
lots
to
choose
from,
and
of
course
since
it's
a
breakfast
menu,
we
vegetarians
had
lots
of
options.
Minor
initial
disappointment
in
that
the
coffee
was
just
okay.
A
little
bit
weak
for
my
tastes.
I
like
a
super
strong
coffee
and
find
that
many
breakfast
places
which,
of
course,
have
coffee,
often
don't
prepare
it
right
and
it
comes
ot
you
as
slightly
flavored
browned
water.
This
was
a
little
bit
better
than
that,
but,
again,
not
as
strong
as
I
wanted
it
to
be.
My
wife
and
I
both
got
egg
dishes.
I
had
the
Just
eggs
with
potatoes
and
an
english
muffin.
These
did
the
job
and
gave
me
the
descent
diner
experience
I
was
looking
for.
My
wife
thought
the
same
for
her
florentine
which
she
got
without
the
English
muffin
as
she
is
gluten-free.
It
would
be
nice
if
they
offered
a
gluten-free
bread
option
of
any
kind.
Our
kid
had
the
soyrizo
burrito
which,
even
for
his
teenage
metabolism,
was
generous
enough
in
size
that
it
lasted
for
2
meals.
Marston's
has
a
slightly
more
nicer/upscale
vibe
than
your
average
diner
in
town
and
you
can
get
just
about
anything
you
want
for
breakfast.
We
glanced
at
the
dinner
menu
and
there
are
definitely
options
for
vegetarians
too
so
we
may
give
it
a
try
one
night!
