Fantastic service on a quiet off-peak evening. Smiles as soon as we entered. The staff seemed happy to be there and had a can-do attitude. The food (and wine) was simple, delicious, excellent value and very well executed. More restaurants should be like this.

The "Casa Pepe" is a typical Bar-Restaurant since 1978 in the heart of Santa Coloma, it's a next town of Barcelona. The location is perfect to have lunch, dinner or something and go to work or home, because it's close to Santa Coloma metro and buses station. The place is very big and so clean, there are many rooms inside. It's comfortable and informal. It doesn't matter how many people you are, Mr Pepe finds the best table for you. You can choose the diary menu at lunch or if you prefer there are many mix dishes and tapas. It's an Spanish traditional cuisine. We tasted braves potatoes, Roman calamari, octopus "a la gallega", "chocos" it's made of cuttlefish, breaded and fried but the best dish was breaded artichokes, it was so tasty. For dessert the waiter recommends me a cup of cream with strawberries and caramel. Incredibly delicious. All the products are fresh and from proximity market. There are many different wines from Spain. The waiters are very attentive, fastest and friendly. I will repeat the experience. I highly recommend going to "Casa Pepe" restaurant.
