The best breakfast ever! Good place, friendly staff, good service and really amazing food! We’ve tried first time special Tenerife coffee, it’s soooo tasty! We will come back again sure! Tomorrow will be there, first place to visit it is this cafe🌟

The rudest waitress ever!! She doesn't understand English and instead of trying to get the order right, she gets mad. At first I came to order at the counter, but she said: you order at the table. I sit and scan the menu, but the name of the cakes and ice creams are not in the menu. When she comes to get the order at the table, she says you should go inside and check the names there!! At the end she brings wrong ice cream to the table since she doesn't know what's pistachio in English and makes noises with the cups when she is putting them on the table. Ruined our day with her behaviour. In any case, the pistachio ice cream is not very good, a bit bitter to my taste, and has some medicine aftertaste. And the chocolate cake had a good texture and appreance but was tasteless. Also, they clean the tables after each customer with a very strong detergent, smells like whitex and stays on the table which was very annoying. I might have given a 3 if the experience wasn't this horrible

the raspberry cake had a lovely jelly layer on top, though the crust was a tad dry for my taste. The espresso was a Spanish classic, with a robust bitterness that some might enjoy..... As for the mineral water, it's served from a machine, which is quite convenient.. Tap filtered or mineral water.?. The service was a bit slow, but the staff was amiable and accommodating. It's a nice spot for a casual coffee and cake, particularly if you're not too picky. Their reputation for beautiful cakes might raise your expectations, so do give them a try. A solid 3 out of 5 stars for an overall pleasant experience with a lot of room to improve. Qr menus are simply a horrible customer experience.

3€ for a Cappuccino and 4,50€ for a small piece of cake, waitress speaks no english in a touristic area. But the prices are for tourists, way too high for Spain. 100m down I paid 1,80€ for Barraquito special!

Cute little bakery cafe with a variety of options for lunch and breakfast. We all ordered various types of egg dishes and breads (the croissants are amazing). The coffee and juice are both delicious. Great little spot in Santa Cruz with seating inside and outside.

I really enjoyed coming here and will definitely be back. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, location is excellent to sit outside and the food was fantastic. Even something as simple as fries were next level. Great value for money.

The best place in Santa Cruz! Delicious even has a gluten-free menu. Coffee is also good ❤️

Amazing place! A great mix of vintage design, delicious coffee and perfect service. Another thanks for your English speaking staff!

Worst cappuccino ever, it tasted like chlorine mixed with water. The cakes (carrot cake and cheesecake with fruit) were below average. The burger was tasty. Visited the place because of the good reviews, wouldn’t go back.

A very nice and cute place to drink a good coffee and take a nice breakfast.

I'll preface this with that they lose the one star due to them being somewhat awkward with tourists, and they actually served everyone who arrived after us before they did us. However they do excellent cakes/coffee/food and there is often live music coming from the perpendicular street which definitely adds to the experience.

Not recommended. The staff seemed overwhelmed, likely due to being short-staffed. We had to wait 40 minutes for a piece of cake, and some items we ordered never arrived despite asking three times. The staff's demeanor was unfriendly, and overall, I cannot recommend this place.

Very good hot chocolate, tasty croissants and scrambled eggs. Nice place for a breakfast. It's pitty, that they open at 10 o'clock in the morning, not earlier. Also it is missing the benedict eggs or avocado toast. But they have enought to offer :)

Great place! Food is amazing, they offer a great variety of cakes and pastries and good coffee and tea. It's a cozy place with very friendly staff.

We had a great, simple burger combo which all the family enjoyed (burger, fries and drink). Smiley and friendly staff - freshly cooked food. We all (four) ate for under €30 :) Lots of treats to be had too - I had a lovely nut tart, to take away earlier in the week - we will visit again ! Of special note was the vegan burger (as shown in pic) option which I had - delicious.

We went as someone suggested the eggs were good but they were terrible. My tortilla was replaced by scrambled egg which had not an ounce of moisture left in it and was utterly tasteless, the omelette was no better. Perhaps we should have ordered cake instead but we won’t be trying again.

Wonderful selection of food, coffees and desserts. Would come back just for this place! The staff is very very friendly. I walked out thinking I had paid only to forget and I walked back in and they just smiled and were very understanding. Been to many coffee shops around the world and this is one of the best.

I have been to Palmelita every time I have been to Santa Cruz, but this is my first review. On this trip, I went three times over three days. Every time, I was greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Everything was excellent--from coffee to sandwiches to cava! Its outside tables have a wonderful aspect of the primary street of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Go and enjoy!

We had a lovely toast and eggs breakfast here. The server was very kind and accommodating to our broken Spanish. We arrived upon opening and were hoping to get their fresh croissants but they weren't in from the bakery yet. Next time!

Burger was good, but we got 3rd fries which I did not understand why. You dont need 3 servings of fries for two people. Lady asked whether we want fries with the burger. We said yes. But the burger already comes with fries and we got 3rd portion of them. Weird.

Very kind staff. Nice place on the building corner so you can sit outside end enjoy the sun. Cortado leche y leche with fresh orange juice was the perfect choice for midday pause.

Great place to take time off! Special thanks to Taili & Marcos. They did their best today working with just two and serving all the customers. It was challenging and hopefully they both have survived after such marathon! As a customer I appreciate their hard work.
