“This is a 5 star hotel that should be a 2 star hotel” accurately stated by my 6 year old. Service was rude. I had a car rental. Every time I arrived and left the valet staff would hurry me. Food was scarce At breakfast buffet and never replenished. I was told I couldn’t bring in “any food or alcohol” in. However, I had milk for my toddler. The restaurant service was slow and food under quality. Disappointed in this new administration.

During a 3 day stay staff was 100% amazing. Friendly, attentive and very helpful. Food was spot on. Unfortunately disappointed in the cleaning of our room. Trash was left on the floors, no new towels were added or hand soap. The face towels weren't replaced and they had an awful smell to them.

I just went for a coffee. The place is beautiful, the service great and the coffee was good!

Awful service. Can’t believe they can keep the Marriott brand. Took over an hour to get served drinks at the restaurant and then the wine was warm and they didn’t have the one we wanted and substituted an $80 bottle that wasn’t even good

Upscale room overlooking to pool. The pool was a very nice temperature and had nice areas for kids. Good food and service with convenient hours for the main dining area.

Had a great experience at Los Tajibos. Friendly staff and great service. Close to ammenities and downtown. Beatiful temperated pool with close by jacuzzies.

Stayed in the new tower and it was well done. Had a great time and I loved the new setup. Bravo 👏🏽

Still one of the finest hotels in Santa Cruz and probably Bolivia but they've lost their edge and have fallen second to others. Their breakfast isn't as good as it used to be, the coffee is below average and the restaurant's food wasn't too great in general. We also couldn't get Netflix, HBO Go or Prime TV to work even though we followed the rather simple instructions. Lucky for us they had a rather appealing number of options on cable. They still hold somewhat of an advantage in food however, thanks to the great external restaurants they have on their property that make their menu available for room service. This and the eagerness of their staff to help keep Los Tajibos as one the the finest options in town. Just wished they'd up their coffee game or at least allow guests to bring their own.

It's charming and has its history. Swing by and enjoy a drink or a meal and chat with someone interesting.

Returned after several years (quality dropped significantly in the post trade of ownership period) but am happy to report the hotel is back, as good as ever and perhaps even more. New areas, revamped menu, excellent staff, well worth it. Will be back more often.

By far the best hotel in Santa Cruz. Great structure, nice and comfortable rooms, friendly staff, great food and a wonderful environment to make a great stay. Without any doubts, I would choose it for every visit I make to the city.
