Business wise this is a great place. Rooms are fairly well equipped with the standard flat screen, queen sized beds, small working desk and modern and clean bathrooms. WiFi is definitely not great especially for video calls or high traffic information exchange (upload or download). It is well located in terms of distance to town center although not at walking distance. Taxi is needed. Facilities such as gym, sauna or enclosed and outdoor pool are very good although the gym is a bit unequipped and small for sport and gym fanatics. It has a barbershop. ...quite unique, comfortable business meeting rooms with some of the smaller ones even free if one is a guest, and the restaurant is very good for some nights, although the menu is a bit restricted in terms of offers and variety. Additionally breakfast is quite ample and of good and fresh quality products. Generally speaking staff is very amicable, hospitable and friendly.

Great hotel and warm staff. Some small detail about the rooms can be improved

Absolutely terrible staff at the front desk. They gave me a smaller room and made me wait 5 hours for check in even though they had rooms. Their customer service is terrible and the manager is looking to make extra dollars even at the expense of the loyal customers at the Camino real. Terrible absolutely

Great choice. Restaurant is great and pool area not bad at all. Even has it’s own impressive water slide. Social scene for locals. Only complaint is traffic noise. Choose rooms high up in new block or on west side away from noise if you can.

HUGE hotel and wow what amenities they have! This place is an absolute catch and there is no place in the area that can compare to this.

Fully recommend this hotel. I did my son's Birthday party at the hotel. Adrea was an amazing coordinator and gave me the best service. I was so impressed with such a wonderful team. Such a beautiful experience since you enter the hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a good location. Nice big rooms with all amenities. Very friendly personel. The restaurant offer nice meals and breakfast. Best part, the little birds nesting at the entry of the hotel every afternoon.

First time staying at Camino Real (I've stayed in another 5-star hotel nearby before). Room was okay, we got the King bed suite. Some small features could be improved inside the room (curtains were broken the reels, windows didn't shut properly). We tried to dine in the hotel's restaurant (called La Tranquera) and I was informed the restaurant is closed on Sunday evening/nights. They have a fairly sized swimming pool and an indoor one, dry and steam saunas, small gym, barber shop and spa. The staff is friendly. Proximity to downtown and other touristic attractions is far (need taxi to move around). They have a shopping mall a block away from the hotel (Ventura Mall) a plus. Reception staff are a bit rude and unfriendly (they tried to charge us items from the frigo bar that we didn't consume). Good experience but for the price charged we will try other 5-star hotels in the area.

It is a great hotel with good service. I got a room that had a faulty AC (working too good and the room was freezing), so I was moved to another room without difficulty. Breakfast is decent. Outdoor pool is nice and has a water slide for kids. Indoor pool is heated and exquisite. The wet sauna was amazing with the eucalyptus scent. Definitely a good short stay.
