Find the lodges and book directly with them, then you will save money. But Nick is well organized and cool

Nick took my partner and I on an impromptu last minute wildlife tour to some spots close to Santa Cruz. His passion for Bolivian wildlife and wilderness is obvious and infectious. We really admired his genuine desire to highlight the plight of Bolivian flora and fauna due to urban sprawl and deforestation. The tour itself was excellent, he managed to show us sloths, multiple breeds of monkey, amazonian squirrels, many birds including owls, and had access to areas that most wouldn't even know existed so close to Santa Cruz. Thank you Nice, we had an awesome day.

We just went on a 10 day trip to Bolivia with a group of 11 people of varying ages and physical capabilities. My partner and I requested some more advanced hikes to take part in and Nick personally joined our group to make it happen. He even stayed with us most of the trip to go on extra hikes we didn't even know we wanted, he took us on additional safari car rides, he took us on an evening float trip down a river, and he took us sandboarding. Nick even jumped into the river fully clothed when we got stuck - that's some major guts when there are real Caiman and piranha all over! Nick has an awesome personality that is both knowledgeable, caring, and joyful! He also hires excellent employees who share his passion for Bolivia and nature - our main guide was Iver and he also deserves a ton of credit for making our trip so much fun and easy. I couldn't have asked for a better tour agency to guide us. We visited Amboro, Samaipata/El Fuerte, San Miguelito Jaguar Preserve, and Lomas De Arena. All were excellent and it makes me want to come back and see the many more national parks Bolivia has to offer. We had some unfortunate weather that was a little rainy and cool, so the animals were shy to come out, but Nick tried his hardest to make animal sitings happen. I guarantee that he would be able to find them in good weather. If you come to Bolivia, make sure to use this tour agency. They truly care about preservation and the animals and they are trying hard to prevent deforestation in a part of the world that the media neglects to care about. My only regret is I never took a picture with me, my partner, and Nick! Thank you Nick and Iver! -David J

The half-day trip to Loma de Arena from Santa Cruz was amazing. We loved Sandboarding on the sand dunes of Loma de Arena. Iver was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions and our driver did a great job and was an expert sloth spotter. All around an amazing day which we were able to spontaneously extend to visit Cotoca and see sloths (as we did not see any in Loma de Arena). Nick organized the entire trip spontaneously in the last minute and responded to our request quickly. He also provided extra tips as to what to see, do, eat in Santa Croz. Thanks Nick for the great adventure - definitely recommend booking with Nick!

My husband and I went on a three day Jaguar safari with Nick’s and had an incredible experience. We were hesitant to travel to Bolivia during the pandemic, but thanks to Nick’s constant contact and guidance, we felt confident taking the plunge. He helped plan our trip and responded to dozens of questions before I even booked my tour. Nick was guiding another tour the dates ours was booked. Jose, the guide assigned to us, was our favorite part of the trip! He was an extremely passionate and informative conservationist who taught us so much about the Amazon, Bolivia and beyond. We could not have asked for a better experience. We saw a huge Jaguar, millions of birds and more mammals than I knew existed in the Amazon. Nick and the people who work for him are trustworthy, professional and truly care about the environment they work in. Note: camping accommodations are rudimentary.

I did a 3 day tour with Nick's Adventures and it was perfect from the first minute. The service was very professional as they were always on time, they provided us the right information on what to bring and expect, the staff was truly exceptional. Nick always made sure we get to spend as much time outside as possible. Besides being knowledgeable of the world , he's very passionate about the environment and animals (mammals and birds) and we ended up seeing the Cats and other fantastic animals. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour and Nick's Adventures to all out there !!

If you want an experience with one of the best opportunities to see jaguars then this is the trip of a life time for you. We managed to see 6 jaguars and 4 ocelots in 3 days which was a truly special experience that few other places can compete with. Nick and his staff were amazing, accommodating and had were never left wanting with food! One of the absolute highlights of Bolivia and would recommend it to any wildlife lovers

We visited Bolivia for 24 days and choose this less traveled country to learn about it's amazing biodiversity and unique indigenous culture. We were able to connect with Nick's Adventures and Nick's team flawlessly organized a full itinerary for us to enjoy, when we weren't travelling with his company he connected us with great local operators who delivered fantastic personalized experiences. We started in Santa Cruz to visit Amboro National Park and Jaguar Land. Continued to travel to Cochabamba to visit Toro Toro, a must visit hidden gem, and made our way to La Paz to drive to Sajama National Park and Uyuni to see the lagoons and salt flat. Returning to La Paz we flew to Rurrenbaque to travel by boat into the Bolivian Amazon, Madidi National Park. We had the luck to be by ourselves at the community owned and operated ecolodge in the middle of the jungle. Bolivia can be logistically challenging to travel by yourself, although very safe for visitors, therefore I highly recommend to connect with an expert local operator such as Nick's Adventures. The tour was beyond memorable, personal and a truly fun trip, my girlfriend and I are definitely returning to this beautiful country with it's amazing nature and inspiring people. I want to thank Nick's team and the several local operators for giving us an experience of a lifetime!

Nick’s Adventures is by far Bolivia’s best adventure tourism company. The passion and care with which Nick carries his tours is demonstrated in every detail from the preparation to the execution of the tour itself. Bolivia as much as it is one of the most stunning and rich countries due to its biodiversity, it is also a challenging country with many intricacies, ones which Nick has learned to navigate graciously. Not only does Nick’s Adventure provide a safe and comfortable space in which to explore Bolivia’s incredible biodiversity, but it also helps bring awareness to the importance of much needed sustainable development in a country where the sustainability aspect is completely overlooked.

Used Nicks Adventures to tour through Jaguar Land and Madidi. Nick was extremely responsive and helpful leading up to the trip, and helped us organise flights and accommodation leading up to and following the trip. After our trip to Madidi, our flight was cancelled without another scheduled for 2 days. Nick was immediately in contact and swiftly organised a bus for us to return to La Paz. Our guide, Mauricio in Jaguar Land was fun and knowledgeable, and did absolutely everything in his power to find us a jaguar, even adding on an additional night safari when we had not yet seen a jaguar towards the end of our trip. Our chef, Yetsee, cooked fresh and delicious food, and was also really friendly and great company. Comfortable mattresses were provided in the tents, although if there was a way to hang mosquito nets this might be something to consider in the future! Sadly we did not see a jaguar, but it sounds like we were very much in the minority here, and several farmers we spoke to had seen them... we just got unlucky and kept missing them. Still saw tons of wildlife including dolphins, various monkey species, armadillos, sloth, caiman, toucans and macaws. Our trip to Madidi was also excellent - expect basic accommodation, bur it is amazing to be right in the heart of the Amazon. Again we saw lots of monkeys (including the illusive spider monkey), river otters, bird life, and creepy crawlies on the night safari. Our guide Sergio was a fountain of encyclopedic knowledge, and was easy company. Really really recommend this company, each person went above and beyond.

We booked Refugio Volcanes, the scenery was fantastic! We loved it, very good service from Nicks, the driver came to pick us up and carry us as requested. I 100% recommend this agency and this stay which is fabulous

I highly recommend using this agency. They have professional guides, drivers and staff who pay attention to the details to ensure a memorable experience. We saw so much wildlife on our trip. It exceeded expectations. I also like Nicks approach to conservation as more and more of Bolivia’s forest is cleared to make way for industrial agriculture.

We did the Amboro Tour and had a great time! The organisation was very good, communication was always fast. We reached out to Nick on very short notice and were therefore very happy Nick could still arrange for us to go on this tour. Our guide Pablo was great! He always looked out for us and told us a lot about the nature, animals and Bolivia in general. We always felt very save on our hikes with him. We can definitely recommend this trip to anyone!

Nick ran a fantastic tour to some of the most spectacular places in Bolivia. He knew how to find and see truly wild mammals, and provided some really good perspective on the dire conservation climate in the country. We were lucky and saw multiple wild Jaguars, Pumas, Ocelots, Jaguarundis, Tapirs, and many other species of mammals and birds. Would 100% recommend taking a tour with him.

We didn't go on a tour but talked with the agency. They seem to offer a lot of great tour but do know that the tours are expensive. They are probably worth the money but don't go here if you're on a budget like us 😉 5 star for the kind service and because we don't know how the tours are

We spent 3 days in Jaguarland and had a great time! Every minute was used to drive around the area (mix of forest and soja plantation) in search for wild animals. We saw a jaguar, puma, ozelot, anteaters, tapir and many more. The guides were great and just as enthusiastic to see animals as us 😊 Camp is basic but has everything you need and the food was delicious!

The three of us are avid and widely travelled Nature-Watchers from Germany. Nick`s Adventures organized a custom made wildlife watching trip for us. We had 16 days and visited Ka- Iya, Jaguarland, Amboro and San Miguelito. In between the different trips (with different guides) we stayed for one night at the comfortable Tryp Hotel in Santa Cruz, which was recommended and organized by Nick. The main goal of our journey was to see a Jaguar in the wild. We decided not to go to the brazilian Pantanal as we did not want to share the jaguar experience with a lot of other tourists as we had heard that normally several boats gather in front of the jaguars in the Pantanal. We were more than happy with our decision to go with Nick`s Adventures. Our highlight was the 5-day-Trip to Jaguarland, where we saw 4 Jaguars, 1 Puma, and several Ocelots. We also saw many Tapirs, Pink River Dolphins, Armadillos, Sloths and many other mammals. Caimans and Capybaras are very common as are a lot of beautiful birds (e.g. 4 different Macaws, Toco Toucans, abundant Waterbirds including Jabirus, Sungrebes and Hoatzins). In Jaguarland (not the other destinations) you sleep in tents, but there is a kitchen and a basic shower and toilet in the middle of nowhere. You have your own cook and the lady cooked excellent food for us. All the guides and drivers were very knowledgeable and Nick himself is an impressive guy, who has a lot of interesting stories to tell about wildlife and bolivia in general. He and his team members are extremely motivated to show you the wildlife you want to see. We cannot recommend Nicks`Adventures highly enough. If you want to see South american wildlife and you do not want to go to the pantanal: This is the tour company you were looking for. They will take you to exclusive places that you can never visit on your own - and only Nick has access to this special wildlife watching place, which is called Jaguarland.

Very smooth organisation of transport to the national park. Rodrigo is a great driver and a Friendly Person. The Refuges the Volcanes Lodge is a incredible well maintained and beautiful spot.

Nick’s company was outstanding. Questions were answered within an hour. All the drivers and guides were prompt in their appearance. Saul was an outstanding bird guide showing us 150 bird species. All of the accommodations were clean and comfortable and the food was of good quality and quantity. We had a good exposure to the culture and environment of eastern Bolivia. Marco our driver was very helpful taking us through the airport check in.

Tour was good but honestly overpriced though we had a great time hiking the sand dune and sandboarding. We wanted to have it booked ahead of time so we didn't have to spend time finding a tour once we arrived in Santa Cruz and we needed to go a little earlier to catch an afternoon flight and Nick's was able to do that for us but otherwise we probably would have found someone else due to the cost. Staff was reasonably friendly.

Look no further for a super reliable, knowledgeable, and passionate team that will give you an incredible experience in Bolivia! If you're visiting Bolivia, you probably already know to expect the unexpected here. Nick and his team made my group of 4 gals feel very confident throughout the various bumps that came up in our trip due to weather. We learned SO MUCH about the country & you will not find a guy more passionate about eco-tourism than Nick. Thanks for everything Nick.

Nick is just an amazing person. He made my experience in Bolivia so incredible. I planned a last-minute trip to Santa Cruz, and he organized an exhilarating two days (Lomas de Arena and Jardin de las Delicias). I always say it's not the places that make the trip, but the people you meet. So glad to have met Nick. Cheers mate.

I reached out to Nick with a rough travel plan to see if he had tours that I could consider. While Nick’s tours didn’t work out for me as a solo traveller, he took the time out of his day to revamp my travel plan to make it more feasible. He is clearly passionate about travel in Bolivia and I’ve no doubt he’ll do everything to make sure you have the best possible experience!!!

Nick is super accommodating, flexible, passionate, knowledgeable and really cares for us to have fun! we had an 8 hour layover in santa cruz before departing back home. He met us at airport, took us to get our rapid test (for US) and were on our way to lamos de arena! we saw sloths, sand dunes, went to the city, got to try some of local food and finished with a delicious dinner. highly recommend!
