Amazing set of three waterfalls with a fairly easy to moderate trail. There are guide wires at the waterfalls' bases to help navigate the water below. The largest and last of the three is fairly turbulent. Swimming looks to be feasible under the first two, however, the water is really cool and might not be allowed. Highly recommended and worth the entrance.

About 2,500 colones to enter. By car it is very easy walk down to the waterfall from the property, but if you take a bus into the town it is about a mile to a mile and a half to the property with some signs along the way. Nice walk, but tiring because you are at altitude. If you stop outside of the town of San Antonio, it is about a quarter of a mile into town on a long hill downward, which has a beautiful view. You can swim at the bottom of the waterfall, which is very cold.

Like a dream. Visit both sites if you can. Be careful on the slick, steep trails.

Great place you'll likely have all for yourself. We've spent a nice day swimming in the nearby river pools and haven't met a living soul. The entry is through the farm and cost less than $3. Highly recommended to visit if you're in Turrialba area.

👍👍 A beautiful place to visit. Bosque Quemado (Burnt Forest) is truly an off beat experience. You need to make online reservations to visit here. I would have shared the URL, however It's recommended to contact on the number in case this review gets old and the process changes. The road is a bit bumpy,...

👍👍 Beautiful gem hidden in the mountains of Cerro de la Muerte. It just takes a 50 minute drive from the city to get here. The entrance price is super accessible (3500 cólones), the place has lots of trails for hiking and biking, little ranch areas with bbq spaces, a beautiful lake with boats and even...

👍👍 November, 25 2021. Drove in from the north side like the other reviews said to. Go to the city of Santa Cruz and put the park into gmaps and it will take you here. 4 wheel drive wasn't as necessary as higher clearance, you won't be able to get the small sedans down this road. It's chunky. As you en...
