Prices may be larger than they appear. Also they're perpetually out of onion rings unless you want them on your most expensive burger. I'm sure it's due to CoViD "supply chain issues" and not profiteering.

Betty Burgers is a very nice place.they also commented my Henna which I will show a picture of. The burgers were the most delicious burgers I've ever tasted and I even finished by 1 minute after my brother and that is not normal and also I beat my mom! It was the most delicious Burger I've ever tasted in my life! Definitely recommended it 😃🙂

Was in town for The Beach Boardwalk and saw on a food critic website that Betty Burgers was a place a person should eat in Santa Cruz before dying. I love hamburgers so I gave it a shot. Nice small restaurant with a great staff. The burger itself looked delicious and the patties are thick, but unfortunately the patty was too dry. I ordered a total of 4 burgers for my family and each patty was the same. Was hoping it would get juicer the closer I got to the center, but unfortunately not. Sweet potato fries were fried just right and were good. Would visit again and request to have the burger cooked medium rare if possible.

Great burger - enjoyed the special lube sauce, garlic fries were great too. Tip: for me the kid’s Biddy Betty (along with sharing a serving of garlic fries with Hubby), was plenty food!

Had to try a burger. Class Betty with the special sauce. Delicious. Loved the crispy fry’s with the dipping sauce. Hubby loved his vanilla milkshake. Everything was delicious.

It doesn't look clean, but the food is delicious. It's good to wrap the foods and eat it at the beach next door. give it a try!

Girls day out with my daughters had to end at Betty's. 😊 This place is fun! And the food is excellent. The chili is just a little spicy and well seasoned. The burgers are lean, flavorful and you with fresh ingredients. I also loved the buns which appear house made ..or at least not out of a bag. I stole the pickle out of my daughter's Basic Betty burger and it was a delightful house made fresh pickle! Delicious! The garlic fries have real garlic on top which gives them a spicy bite. We really like spice and strong flavors so these were a hit. Fast and courteous service to top the meal off. We are coming back after our next next beach day. 😊😊😊

The spicy fried chicken sandwich is exactly what I want in a spicy fried chicken sandwich. The chicken was cooked perfectly, with juicy and hot chicken meat on the inside, surrounded by a thin crispy layer of spicy goodness with a satisfying crunch. The lettuce was fresh and crisp and layered thickly between the bun and patty, all the other toppings were perfectly balanced, and the sauce was just the absolute cherry on top. Wish I had gotten two.

I’m disheartened to have to leave a bad review but our experience tonight was horrible. This was our second time trying Betty’s Burgers. The first time was a few years ago in Capitola and it wasn’t great so we haven’t been back, but since we live close to the Seabright location we thought we’d give it another go and unfortunately this was a huge mistake. We ordered the basic Betty and the mad mex along with 50/50 curly rings to go. We added sautéed mushrooms to the basic Betty and bacon to the mad mex. Unfortunately, neither sandwiches came with these add ons that we paid extra for. The mad mex didn’t even have the guacamole on it that was included in the description. Since we ordered to go we didn’t realize this until we got home. Moreover we requested the burgers to be M and they were well cooked. Overall the presentation of the burgers was very sloppy and unappetizing which should have stopped us there. In addition, the curly fries and onion rings were cold even though we picked up our food at the scheduled pick up time. To make matters worst, we both had upset stomachs after eating our meals. This was a truly disappointing and downright bad experience. After paying additional money for add ons that were not included as well as getting sick after eating our $42 meal, I can confidently say we will never go back.

Well the team of workers seemed to like each other a lot and the Christmas music is a very nice touch.

Great quality at a fair price. Best for very hungry people as portions are substantial!

The char on these burgers were great! Meat tasted clean and pure! Kids loved the milkshakes and fries as well. Beers were nice and cold!

Finally ate there after almost two years living in Santa Cruz! Glad we did -great Burgers! I had the one with Bacon, Cheese, BBQ sauce, onion rings & spicy sauce, and it was a delicious burger indeed! My wife had a veggie burger that she enjoyed, and liked my basket of onion rings more than her basket of sweet potatoe fries. Next time it will be two burgers (from their wide choice of burgers, including two different non-meat burgers) and we will spli a basket of onion rings.

Well boy was this a pleasant surprise! After a few hours of hiking one of the many trails nearby or getting some sun in, I totally recommend making a stop at this place for sure! The people were super fun and nice, the burgers.. omg the burgers would easily cost you 3 folds the price in the bay area! That is if you can find some thing that is in par with these pieces of awesomeness! And it definitely has a rustic charm that it generously robs off on you! Parking is a little tricky you might have to park nearby! I heard someone discussed about Betty Burgers by chance and the decided to come here and have a try. The burger here is great. The beef patty was tender and juicy. Fries was also good to me, crispy. The location is also very close to the coast, which means it will be nice to grab some food and head to the beach to enjoy your day.

Friendly staff lots of choices as well. The burger I got was not too bad wasn't blown away. But it was a decent size and tasty enough. The garlic fries weren't great mushy and not all the way cooked. The vanilla shake was amazing though really enjoyed that! The prices are very steep 40 dallors for my order I was a bit stunned 😲. I understand prices have gone up on everything so I don't blame them completely. I don't think I will come back though.
