Ordered the 7 Mares soup and to my surprise I bit in to peices of styrofoam! Asked for manager they sent me another waitress. Wft !

Big disappointment!! I truly don't understand why this place has 4 stars. The food was just ok, but the place is filthy and in great need of maintenance. The service is terrible!!! First of all the WAITRESS WAS SUPER RUDE! And She took a very long time to serve us. The food trickled to our table. The gordita came first and the menudo close to ten minutes later. Tortillas 5 minutes after the food. How can anyone enjoy their food like that? Then we had to wait some more because the menudo order was wrong and she had to take it back and bring another. Throughout our stay we had we hear the ladies argue and raise their voices about work they had to do. It was a terrible stay!

Oh where do I begin. I been been more disappointed in this place in my life it used to be good years ago but ever since they changed staff it got so disgusting. We had lunch yesterday and we all got sick we had shrimp in all our plate and the shrimp were literally black and rotten. My cousin was brave enough to eat them all and she was vomiting as soon as we got home. Now we’re all sick. Please if you dine in this place check the quality of the food before you eat it. We’re definitely not going back.

Extremely Disappointing!!!!! It's not the same Birra. I bought mom and dad. For Birra de Chivo. They gave us beef with some chivo! The both had no flavor!! We let the waitress know and she ignored us.

Definitely would not recommend. I ordered the Birria plate, small portion, meat very dry and bland. And they charged 20.00 for the birria plate.

Really expensive place and the food isn’t good at all you would think I’f they have experience as servers why would they let kids order a quesadilla without letting us know how big it 14$ for a quesadilla yeah I don’t think so wasn’t even worth taking that’s how nasty it was .

Food was good. They have homemade corn tortillas. They are big and tasty. The micheladas here were absolutely delicious! My mom and sister really enjoyed them. The service was good too. I recommend this place.

Epic fail on the Birria. The flavor was non-existent. Service was also slow. My buddy, who recommended the place to me, also said the service was downgraded from the last time he was there. We didn't order anything else, being that they specialize in Birria. I'll give them 2 stars for opening the doors of the establishment.

HORRIBLE service. Went in to get lunch and service was bad from the beginning. She never offered to check on us to see if everything was OK or if we needed anything. Seen other waiters ignoring their tables as they were being called, just walked past them not acknowledging them. It was a horrible experience. Don't recommend coming to eat here.

I order birria for 2 ppl The meat had no flavor it seems like it was cooked in water, I mention it to the waitress She was careless 🥺 This was 1 of my favorite places in Whittier😔

We usually come here for breakfast and everything is pretty much excellent. Service is good and the atmosphere is always pretty quiet and calm.

Not my kind of birria had no flavor and meat was dry. Will never be back
