BUYERS BEWARE!!! Mavericks sold me JUNK JEWELRY with a totally BOGUS "Lifetime Guarantee." I bought a $1,500 opal ring from this store that LITERALLY FELL APART in 5 DAYS, on the THIRD WEAR. I was assured at purchase AND when I called to report/discuss the issue in detail a week later that the ring would be "restored to original condition for free, per their "LIFETIME GUARANTEE" - No Questions asked." Since then, the owner insisted that I pay ANOTHER $500 to fix the defective ring and REFUSED TO REFUND THE DEFECTIVE JUNK HE SOLD ME. Mavericks are holding the ring I paid for HOSTAGE, and have gone totally MIA despite several attempts to email, call and follow up. I have never encountered a more shady, disingenuous, disrespectful business. RUN, don't walk to jewelers who stand by their work and return phone calls! I am pressing charges unless I am fairly refunded!

We purchased a $4000 pair of boots that ended up not fitting my wife while visiting Santa Fe. The customer service was great while going through the buying process. We returned to Scottsdale where Mavericks had opened a store. We went to exchange the boots for a size that fit and was told they would order the size since the boots are “custom made”. This transaction happened in May of 2023. They never ordered the new boots. I was given the “owner’s” phone number (Mark) to try and get this issue resolved. Mark initially responded and said he had what he needed to replace the boots with the correct size. I followed up for months and he continued to say he was working on it but was traveling out of the country for his child’s wedding. He told me to check in on October 15th when he returned. I’ve sent him multiple text messages which he hasn’t responded. This is very upsetting as we had a great experience in the store. The owner is disrespectful and non-responsive to a customer who spent $7,000 in his store. It shouldn’t matter how much you spend but they obviously only care about sales and not their customers. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and talking to attorney due to amount spent. I have all the text messages from Mark and will share if this doesn’t get resolved. DON’T spend your money here as they are not to be trusted!

Loved this store and felt very helped out by the employees, but bought a turquoise ring on sale that was originally around $100, and literally 4 days later the turquoise part of the ring fell out so I was very disappointed about that. Hopefully this was random and not a common occurrence among customers buying rings here

Bought a bracelet about a month ago, saw some other reviews saying there stone in the jewelry fell out. Gave this store benefit of the doubt. The stone fell out after 2 weeks. I supposed a jeweler could fix it but it’s not worth the extra money and time if it will break again. Hope upgrade jewelry. Clothing is good. Store decor is nice as well.

Mavericks of Santa Fe is a tremendous apparel and accessories store! Such a wide variety of southwest and western apparel… From top to bottom, you can be dressed out. Amazing selection of hats and boots and bolos and vests and jackets and shirts and belts. they also have an impressive collection of antique rifles and pistols, as well as a beautiful collection of knives and jewelry. The setting inside this store is stunning, so much, beautiful art and craft woven into their building and displays. Just spectacular! and the staff is attentive and caring! Definitely worth a stop to find something special for yourself, or a loved one that you can’t find anywhere else!

I loved this store and I found a BEAUTIFUL coin squash blossom that I will forever regret buying. I came by this store twice because of this beautiful squash blossom. It was unlike any I had ever seen. I will save my pennies and come back real soon. The only reason I am not giving this store 5 stars is because of this: while we were shopping one of the workers was having a fit. He was mad because some of the boutiques were not recognizing pride month. I have not one problem with the pride movement and I agreed with his fit. However, when we were shopping it was hard to feel comfortable while hearing him loudly have this fit. I think maybe he forgot we were in the store, and I agreed with what he was saying, I just didn’t need to hear about it before laying $3,000 down on a necklace. To some $3,000 is easy to spend but for others (like myself) I was calmly trying to talk myself into it as a man has a fit a few feet from me.

I purchased a tiny ring 2 years ago. Ilost a piece of turquoise out of it It was very small. I visited Santa Fe 2 years later. The owner remembered what i bought n when ipurchased it. I bought 2 more ringssnx he fixed my other ring for nothing. Amazing!! I very much agree with the othrrs. If in Santa Fe, you must visit and talk to them. They ate very animated and knowledgeable. They are very much like family. I will always and only go there every time I cone to my second home. Santa Fe.
