Runge Park

Tourist attraction Park

👍 Small park. Decent for the area. I am sure there are bathrooms, but we did not need to use any while we were there. Baseball fields. A stellar pavilion had a few picnic tables under it. On the far side of the park it looked to be a small rodeo area. There were a few horses in the runs with owners. K...

Small park. Decent for the area. I am sure there are bathrooms, but we did not need to use any while we were there. Baseball fields. A stellar pavilion had a few picnic tables under it. On the far side of the park it looked to be a small rodeo area. There were a few horses in the runs with owners. Kind of cool to see. Not sure when they have those. I would check City of Santa Fe Facebook page for any more details on events in the park. Overall we had a good time there. We spent about 30 minutes total.

Allstars tournament played here. Fields were well kept, concessions were good. There is no shade... bring your own

The fields need some sort of shade over the bleachers and the restrooms need more lighting and to be cleaned better. But my kids love the playground and the huge pavilions are nice! I'm surprised at the amount of parking there is.

Where I grew up. Nice play area, pavilion. Batting cages and ball field. Kids can ride bikes and remote control cars in the lot. Horses across the street. Quiet, friendly.

I guess since winter is nearly behind us and spring is right around the corner there's lots of un done chores like pressure washing community building and kids playground. A little painting on benches around the flag pole would be nice.

It is a great experience that I received many years ago with my oldest son. And I'm starting over this year in Machine Pitch with my youngest son and things have changed a lot since I've been back but for the better. In the baseball committee is very respectful and very good at their jobs. And the coaches are fantastic teaching the boys how to play.
