Horrifying treatment by owner or manager. Worst experience at a restaurant. I won’t go into details, but the owner was abusive and nasty to myself and my family because my husband who is diabetic came in with a coffee and a crossiant. We We’re ready to order, all of us ordering our own dishes. He came up told us off said we couldn’t have any Other food or drink in his restaurant and he threw us out. We gave him a reasonable explanation and all of us for ordering food, and there was no empathy at all. Disgusting behavior from a business. We will never return. Would give zero stars if possible

Wonderful outdoor patio with umbrellas. Staff was friendly and attentive. We came for the Sunday brunch. It was excellent. I would have given 5 stars, except my waiter brought the wrong order. However, it was quickly remedied. The Joe's Benedict was superb. Perfectly poached eggs. Delicious smoke salmon. Salad was fresh and colorful. Altogether a delightful and fulfilling breakfast.

I regret that they seem to have taken corned beef and Reuben Sandwiches off the regular menu, because that's what I go for. I had brisket today and found it somewhat fatty and just ok. Superior options for that elsewhere. I found the garlic potatoes to have too much garlic. My friend's tuna sandwich was good. Very good service today, but not always. With no more Reuben sandwiches, I probably won't be back soon. This was my favorite place for that. Too pricey in general unless there is something you love.

Very good, fresh food! You don’t often come by this kind of quantity food. The place is very clean and quiet. Even though it’s a diner, it feels more like an upscale restaurant.

We had calamari fo starters cooked perfect with alioi and grilled lemon. The green chili burger was full of flavor and again cooked perfect. A side of hot crisp fries topped it off.The organic chicken quesadilla was was also very flavorful good amount of chicken and cheese. Guacamole, sour cream ,and salsa. We also had excellent service from our waiter. I also noticed how well trained all staff worked together maintaining a very clean and comfortable lunch service. Props to the excellent cooks. Thank You everyone. We would definitely recommend Joe's Dinner

I ordered the brisket platter. 19.00 dollars. I received dry, over done, dry ends. I smoke meats weekly. I love barbecue and smoked meat, fish, pork, chicken. This was terrible Normally, ends are a luxury. Joe's meat was disintegrated, tasteless and dry. I would have tried a hamburger but be aware they charge extra for every side, including fries. I thought that burger and fries was American. Evidently not at Joe's. There are too many great Burger places and good BBQ places to go back.

My son and I had Mother’s Day Brunch today at Joe’s Diner. It was lovely all around. The Eggs Benedict was delicious as was the Quiche Lorraine. Fresh and yummy! Great friendly service! The relaxing environment added to a special lunch.

Joe's was once our go to place when we moved to Santa Fe. We loved the servers and the food. 8 years later, Joe’s has become a shell of the Diner it once was. Two months ago, we had dinner with another couple who also were fans. We had smug and inauthentic service, stingy portions and carelessly prepared food. Thinking perhaps it was an off night and appreciative of the staffing problems all restaurants face, we hosted friends from out of state at Joe’s for lunch today. It was even worse. How any cook can turn a brisket quesadilla into a dry, tasteless combination of tough meat and gluey cheese is a mystery —especially in Santa Fe. I’ve had better take out from a food truck at 1/3 of the price . We’re done with the place.

If the food here wasn’t great I’d give it a one star. Our waitress was very rude! We were seated by the hostess but the waitress never generated us!! I had tried to get her attention numerous times as I watched her take the order of people who were seated after us. Never even said hi, or took our drink order. Definitely one the worst waitresses I’ve ever experienced. I hope this doesn’t continue as I do love the food here.

Great breakfast, lunch and dinner location. There is an outside seating area with heaters and wind blocks that catches the morning sun. All the dishes seem very good. Have been there many times with consistent results. Serving staff very helpful and friendly. Do check out the desserts, good selection and quality.

After a hard day teaching all I wanted was a good meal. I ordered the half roasted chicken for a exorbitant cost of $27. What I got was one chicken leg on the bone and a chicken thigh off the bone, 1/3 cup mashed potatoes and 1/4 cup cole slaw. I was lied to. This is NOT a half a chicken. In my past I was a sues chef and for a restaurant to advertise on their menu a half chicken and not deliver is just a blatant lie. Did the owner make it right? No he did not.

Our friends have been there and they liked it. That’s basically the main reason why we decided to meet up with our friends there and catch up. I really like the local feel of this place and their staff were extremely friendly throughout. They made us feel like family, in the best possible way. I tried their Schnitzel and my companion had Fish and Chips. I enjoyed it very much and so did my companion. It’s the best first time experience anyone can have. We for sure plan to return and try their other dishes.

To start with, I'll say the place is nice. Food is good. I ordered a gluten free pizza the waiter said they were very careful about gluten free. I was happy to get something to eat. So I had ordered it and asked about it. When it came it didn't look gluten free because they are usually just round and I asked a waiter off to my left a bit away from the table if it was gluten free he didn't look to hard at it and said yes. I then ate half of it of course it was good. I got sick after eating it to the point of a GI bleed. Please double check if you are a gluten free person and if it doesn't look right don't eat it!!! The place is great besides that. I missed $250 for a night of of work and went in sick the next.

I seldom eat meat but when I do I want a really good burger. Today was such a disappointment. The fries were soggy and cold, although well salted. The coleslaw and tomatoes were warm but the burger was cold and flavorless. Even the onion was wilted. Sorry to see a good restaurant downgrade their food.

My family and I came here last September. We drove in from Albuquerque for a Santa Fe day. It was so good last year! We had delicious burgers and our son even enjoyed the atmosphere. Today, we came in to town, and decided to eat here again. My husband and I both ordered burgers and the kiddo got grilled cheese. And that's where our issues began. The grilled cheese that came out was not the kids, so it had green Chile on it. They brought out a new one, for kids, but with no fries. We ordered fries to share and then a separate kids fry for my son. The burgers were really dry, and we decided to let the side of kids fries go. When my husband went to correct the order with the waiter, he was told we'd get $4 taken off since we ordered a kids grilled cheese not the regular one. Then when the waiter came back, he said he spoke to the owner of the restaurant and we only received $2 off for a mistake that was not ours. And, after we told the other waiter who brought our food out that the food was incorrect, it seemed like that wasn't communicated to our regular waiter. So, our regular waiter didn't even directly address the issue, until my husband tried to get the order corrected. My husband and I love diners. We loved coming here last year and the food was excellent, the service was excellent and that's what brought us back. After today, I'm not sure that we'll come back. Which is unfortunate because of our first experience here, and the overall atmosphere is great. At the end of this, we paid $70 without tip and the food was wrong, and not made very well and the service wasn't great either.

Best liver that I have ever had. And I have had a lot, growing up in Europe. We love the service and atmosphere at Joe's.

Delicious! And the atmosphere was perfect - just the right mix of old-time diner and modern fine-dining. We just moved to the area and this was our first time. We went for a simple, sweet breakfast and we can't WAIT to go back regularly so we can try the rest of the menu!

Excellent service. Very comfortable setting. My favorite, the beef brisket entree was a little short on the sauce and some reason it was a tad bit too fatty. All in all, my most favorite spot. Joe's Diner is without a doubt my"go to" simply because there's no wasted hoopla, just good ole down home eating and great service

I really liked my waiter at Joe’s. He was silly and sweet. We got the guacamole and chips and a cup of bean soup and the quiche Lorraine. We ended the meal with espresso truffles- on the menu it is spelled like “expresso” and my sophisticated dinner date was annoyed by that but try to not let it bother you. The quiche was fantastic flakey flirty and fun. The guac and and salsa were delicious. The bean soup was small but fine- I wouldn’t order it again but it was fine.

We always enjoy our meals at Joe's - we regularly eat brunch there. We appreciate their locally sourced food (meaning they buy ingredients from local farmers and companies whenever possible). I like to support local businesses especially when the food is delicious and the staff is friendly and competent.

We had a wonderful breakfast in the sun drenched patio on a mid December day. I really enjoyed my enchilada; excellent taste and presentation. Issac was helpful and pleasant since this was our first visit... thank you. We will be back!

My friend and I stopped in Santa Fe for a day last month, and on the recommendation of our hotel had lunch at Joe’s Dining. What a fun time! Rick and Baxter took great care of us; they welcomed us warmly, guided us through the menu, and checked on us often during our meal. Their service was fast, and the food was delivered with a smile. We both ordered the half-sandwich, half-salad combos, with iced tea to drink. I had a bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich with avocado, and it was HEAVENLY. And my salad was very tasty, too—the house dressing was a tomato vinaigrette. My friend had the brisket sandwich which she found a bit dry, but the salad was excellent. The ambience was swell—like a 50s diner—and the music selections were from our youth. We had a great time!

The owners of Joe's Dining truly have dedicated their lives and passion for hospitality to the excellence of this restaurant. It is truly exemplified by the quality and deliciousness of the food they serve. Only the freshest, best and locally sourced. If you are visiting Santa Fe, venture out of the Plaza........box. Dine where the people who live there go to enjoy excellent, tasty and unique food, whether it's brunch, lunch or dinner.

He really enjoyed the pizza and the brisket was amazing fell off the bone and the barbecue sauce was delicious too. Service was a little slow but it was worth waiting for especially since it's hard for these companies to get people working now. Appreciated being able to ate out at a nice place

What’s not to love ? Great food, simple uncomplicated, made from stellar fresh ingredients (a lot is local ) Spacious dining room where you feel relaxed and with ample space and it’s easy to hear the conversation across the table ! Service ? Seamless. Caring. People you enjoy seeing ! We love Joe’s. We love the relaxed vibe. We love the food and never tire of it. Desserts are yum, breakfast muffins are yum. We love the summer months when they are making those pizzas with a whooping amount of heirloom tomatoes from Monte Vista Farms with basil pesto generously slathered on. In the winter months there are a slew of other goodies : duck at Christmas time, the in house corned beef week, the week of the deluxe burger variations (oh the Brie cheese and burgundy mushroom burger !) and on and on . Always something that gets our tastebuds going

Everything for breakfast was perfect. The eggs, potatoes with onions, the bacon and the green chile which had a nice little kick to it. The pancakes were wonderfully light and fluffy. Can hardly wait to eat there again. Oh yes, the customer service was excellent! 🙂

Our server John-Michael was such a treat. What a guy! Plenty of Gluten free options. Great food done right. Very comfortable atmosphere that was curated for a very nice experience. If you're looking for a cut above, try Joes ;-)

Amazing Resteraunt with great staff and lots of gluten free entree and dessert options! This place is worth the trip for the gf desserts alone! We came here a few days ago and got the burgers, and they were so great we had to come back today to try some other things. We have not been disappointed once! Btw they also have haggendaas ice cream root beer floats and shakes! Worth the trip.

Great diner atmosphere. Fried chicken seasoned well but a tad tough. They swapped it out so savory and delicious and the mushrooms and onions were thecperfect touch. Be sure and order their gravy. The mixed veggies were delicious. Nice diner atmosphere.

The experienced staff is what makes dining at Joe's so enjoyable. Well, that and the ambience. And the menu selection. Sometimes the food is a bit salty for our tastes but that is ok. The quiche and salads and entrees really work for us. Oh, and the coffee too

Really nice people here, and the prices seemed really good for the quality. Eggplant Parmesan was amazing. But the best thing was the kind staff.

Kind of like the mission statement. Average place with pretty good food and service. Interesting pizza dough, crispy and pretty good.
