This is a popular little place .....the staff are very friendly and the food is fast and fresh. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was tasty and priced very affordable. Perfect place to sit and have some good food and enjoy the lively atmosphere. The salsa was surprisingly tasty. The nachos were also very delicious with the fresh jalapenos. Will definitely stop by again.....try the breakfast next time.

HOLY MOLY OMG!!!!!! This place was AMAZING!!! I had the breakfast quesadilla, my husband had the bacon avocado omelet. It was fantastic! We would make this as much a part of our trip to Santa Fe as going to MeowWolf!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR BREAKFAST!!!

The parking lot was tiny and crowded, so we parked on the side street. It is an old building with character and basic decorations. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated immediately. It was loud with conversation until a large group left. I ordered a bean burrito with green sauce, beans, and rice. Unlike most places, the pinto beans were mostly whole. The plate was hot and smaller than I expected, but it turned out to be just the right size portion. My burrito had a high tortilla-to-filling ratio and did not have a strong flavor, but overall, was it good. My two kids and wife ordered variations of pancakes. My daughter got a pancake stuffed with whipped cream and strawberries, and it was "amazing." Pancakes were thick and about nine inches wide. The prices were a bit more reasonable than similar places. Service was good, and the bathroom was clean. We would try it again.

This place is wonderfully and the best part about it is there meals are always cositant I get the chicken fried steak and it always as good as the first time and that's hard to find. And the prices and portions are great as well this place is highly recommended 👌

Came here for brunch on Sunday morning. It was busy but we didn't have to wait. Everything was delicious. Large portions and very welcoming, attentive service. If I'm in town again, I'll definitely come here.

December 7, 2019 Eat there again. It was later in the morning so more diners. Still quiet enough to talk. Staff attentive with quick service. Patrons seemed very local. Food very tastety. Thursday June 8 10:00 am Our second visit. This is truly a family restaurant. We arrived at a full parking lot and were surprised to be seated immediately in the large and airy dining room. We were surrounded by couples, small families and friends comfortably chatting (some in Spanish.) Service was fast, friendly and professional. Breakfast is served all day and that is what we ordered. I had a large order of Quesadillas, 2 large tortillas filled with scrambled eggs, chopped green chilies, sausage and potatoes and served with a delightfully hot green chili sauce. It was too much for one unless you are really hungry. My husband ordered the Traditional Homemade Menudo. This family recipe, served with sides of lime, chopped onions, oregano, red pepper flakes and toast, is one of the best we have tried. Portions are large and nicely presented. Noise level rated at 71 db. It is easy to converse as there is no background music. And prices are reasonable. We will be back. Again.

From the road this doesn’t seem like a huge spot but there is more then ample room inside. Have gone for breakfast twice and its been delicious each time. Staff is quick, friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend

Was on our way out of town when we stopped at Sunrise. I had the 3 meat omelet and it was perfect. For a family of 5 the bill was only $55 which is half of what were used to paying. The staff was attentive and polite. So great, simple food for a very reasonable price, you can't ask for much more than that.

Literally the best burrito I've ever had!!! Traveling from Colorado where they think they've got green chile on lock but no... Sunrise has forever changed me! Get your burrito Christmas style. Green chile is great but I was blown away by the red! The food came out SO quick, too! And the whole staff was absolutely incredibly friendly. The girl at the counter went out of her way to get me a mug. I had to take a piece of this place with me!!! Will be back next time I'm in town.

Visited on Saturday morning during peak time, no wait for a table and the service was attentive. We shared french toast and chile cheese fries, both were good. The green chile has a kick while the red was super flavorful with a great taste. We are definitely going to make it a go to place, it was a great, no frills, decently priced meal.

Delicious chicken fried steak with white gravy. This morning I tried the meatloaf with brown gravy, also delicious. Courteous staff, good prices. Rafael, the manager knew I've asked several times if the meatloaf was on the menu, but rarely. He saw me at the register and went to see if meatloaf was served, abd it was. Today, was my lucky day. I ordered meatloaf with brown Gravy, mashed potatoes and veggies. Simply delicious, thank you Sunrise😉

I give this place a 5 star, well deserved. Party of 7 on a road trip from California to Santa fe New Mexico. When we got there we were debating on having breakfast there or going to another place I'm so glad that my Husband and Dad got off and walked to the door. Rafael Aldana the owner and his family are so attentive and welcoming they gave us to taste the red and green sauce before ordering and a taste of the Menudo which my Dad gave it a 10! Surprised with what we paid because the food is delicious and their prices are so reasonable. If you're going or passing by Santa fe this is a hidden gem. Highly recommend.

Food is good. Friendly staff. Waiter didn’t get the order right, put green Chile on the burger when we asked 3 times not too. Up charged for Chile cheese curly fries when we asked for regular. And charged for 2 drinks when there was only one coke and one water.

1st of all, the best things about this place, local, staff, and prices. We had 3 items; christmas breakfast burrito, red huevos rancheros, and pancakes with patti sausage. Perfect portions, cooked perfect. Flavor, not super exciting but good. Chile is medium level, bean have a different but good seasoning.

This was my second time coming here in a week and my wife and I loved it. I got the 3 meat omelet and my wife got the chicken fried steak and eggs. Both plates were very filling. Update: The Combo Burger was delicious. It came with cheese, sauteed mushrooms and onions, and green chile, as well as some of the most perfectly blanched and cooked fries I've seen at any restaurant.

I've been coming here for years and I love it. The staff is fast and the food is excellent quality. On a busy day you can still expect your food out promptly. The prices are the cherry on top. If you are in Santa Fe and have the time go here!

The staff was super friendly. It must be very popular place for the locals. They were consistently busy all the time we were there. The food on the other hand I personally had issues with. The overuse of salt in their dishes. To be honest I do not like using salt on my food, I find that most dishes already have enough salt on it. I found that the staff or their manager we're very open to my taste in food and very welcoming of my critiques. Overall my experience there was wonderful and we planned to return to try new fairs there.

I had the breakfast burrito with carne adovada and red chiles. I cannot accurately express how delicious, comforting, and satisfying this meal was. Incredibly flavorful food, and excellent service.

5 stars all the way around from me. The food was fantastic and the service was fast. I highly recommend the French toast plate.
