Your food is 💯 and your attention to detail is on point. Your staff is ALL super nice! It does not end there! The Cesar Salad is delicious and probably THE best I’ve ever had! I tell all my friends about it! I would say that the natural lighting and all the accents inside your dining room are just as detailed as your beautiful food creations. My eyes had a lot of fun looking at everything. It is hard for me to pick a favorite area. The bar is beautiful. I even like hanging out in the back of house.

Fantastic restaurant! Romantic patio seating. Beautiful setting with lovely ambiance. Have to admit, when we arrived with our hungry teenager we were thinking this was your basic Italian restaurant. We thought we’d have pizza, lasagna, the usual Italian dishes. We were a little taken aback to find a small menu of things we don’t generally order. We worried that we wouldn’t enjoy but we decided to take the plunge and ordered the dishes that we thought would be okay for us to eat. Boy were we HAPPILY surprised. The dishes were not just okay, they were fantastic. From the appetizer, to the entrees to the wine, everything was served course by course, no hurry no rush and everything was absolutely scrumptious. I’d also like to mention their wonderful staff. They all run like a well oiled machine. From the hostesses to the servers to the busboys, everyone moves with a beautiful precision. I can’t describe how not fancy people we are and yet how much we loved this beautiful fancy food. Beautiful, beautiful restaurant, lovely staff, AMAZING FOOD…. Great staff. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

This cute restaurant with a very cozy vibe provided us with a decent dinner. Decent is not what I wanted at this price point. Expect to be seated elbows touching to the table next to you. The food and cocktails were GOOD, not out of this world. Our carpaccio was flavorless, but the pasta tasted very fresh. While the prices may seem like it, don’t expect and ultra luxury experience. Our server was a bit snooty, too. Again, I don’t think the prices meet the expectations I had for this place.

For being a small location, its quite comfortable and feels biger. The decorations are quite eye catching, even tho i ate outdoors. Service is 5/5 for sure. The staff is formal and very attentive. I tryed the special of the day which was some pasta with rattlesnake sausage. It sounded new so i gave it a shot. It was interesting. Something different for sure but not quite there. Mabie because from were I'm from, we eat rattlesnake differently. So to the special 3.5/5 The Lobster Risotto was amazing! 6/5 Ive had a few at different locations, and this one takes it! Looking forward to trying out more dishes from here. Overall experience 4.5/5

A standout among all the wonderful restaurants in Santa Fe. The lobster risotto, veal chop, and appetizers were all delicious and perfectly cooked. However, the true area of exception was the service and presentation. I loved the garnishes on all the different plates (and the drink flight!) and the servers were so knowledgeable and attentive. When we ordered, they talked us through how they would design our courses, and the chef split any plates we wanted to share. There are plenty of restaurants that have outstanding food but just fall short on service and you feel like the meal wasn't worth the price. Sassella doesn't fall into that trap, it is a true experience to dine there. Can't wait to return soon.

Authentic Italian Cuisine, excellent service. We visited this restaurant in April 2021 with friends. We had an unforgettable night. The food, all of it, was amazing. The service - top notch. Cristian, executive chef and owner, visited our table to chat a bit - very friendly person. He has so many accomplishments and Santa Fe is really lucky to have him. If you're looking for Italian food, without having to go to Italy, this is the place to go.

Sassella has a wonderful ambiance and decor. The staff has always been wonderful when dining with them. Their pasta is some of the best in town. Highly recommended for date night or a special occasion. Everything you sink your fork into is a divine experience.

We picked the perfect place for date night and they were very accommodating given a our reservation on short notice. This may not look like a kid friendly place but we lucked out. Our toddler fell asleep in the stroller after a few bites of delicious bread and we enjoyed a table outside with perfect patio weather. Service was superb and got to meet Chef Chris. We shared entrees including lobster risotto and buffalo skirt steak, both were exquisite. We won't wait too long before coming back. Looking forward to bringing friends and family here

This place is fantastic. Impeccable service from numerous staff meeting every need. Atmosphere ... a glorious patio with large mature trees, lighting, architecture that is pleasing and minimal street disturbance. I sat there for 3 hours taking it all in, it's wonderful. This winter in intend to experience the handsome dining room. The menu is concise. This is a Nuevo American Italian experience as best I can sort out. Pay attention to the way the dinner menu is split up because you can order and pair things numerous ways. The drink menu is larger and heavily focused on gin. As for our dinner we ordered the tuna tartare and raw oysters to start. Both were great. Tuna tartare was texturally interesting as the tuna is so soft and oily with crunchy accompaniments. The oysters were from Massachusetts. They came with preserved lemon which was a brilliant combination. For our mains we enjoyed the lobster risotto and the sea bass. Both were great. The lobster risotto was a modest portion and not an entree. The flavors were terrific. If anything I wanted more and salt. The sea bass was beautiful. For dessert we had chocolate cake and a lemon fig tarte and both were just ok, not on the same level as the savory dishes. I heard the chocolate hazelnut cake was amazing but that wasn't on the menu tonight. Overall the service and atmosphere were the standout experiences to me, more than the food here tonight. The food was definitely good no doubt, just not as amazing as I had expected. We recieved perfect wine pairings.I can't wait to go back. The patio is spacious, they have heaters and then there is inside as well. Go see for yourself, Enjoy!

Sophisticated, elegant and chef driven place to dine. You calls call it dine dining but heh, this is Santa Fe so jean’s and boots are just as appropriate as jackets and nice skirts. Every bit of food was bursting with flavors. Sommelier Dey helpful. Service perfect.

We went there for a dessert and it was well balanced and tasty. The desert had a little sweet surprise with pop rocks. We also had a delicious glass of champagne. The service was awesome. We were happy to be greeted by the chef himself.

Had their Christmas eve fixed dinner. It was excellent the fois gras was perfect and rich and the Bison Oso Buco was incredible. The wine pairing was spot on. I see why the chef was picked best chef in Santa Fe.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with incredibly delicious food. The service was exceptional and our experience was really delightful! We were there celebrating our anniversary. We started with cocktails and Caesar salads! The entrees we choose were the sea bass and the beef tenderloin-they were off the charts excellent! Gluten free options and vegetarian options! We will be back!

This restaurant exceeded our expectations. Arturo was a fantastic help to guide us through our first experience at Sassella. The food excited our taste buds and made us want to plan our next visit.

Wonderful experience, one dish was over salted, but chef came out and apologized and we weren't charged. (Only reason it wasn't a full 5 stars). Such a gem of a restaurant in an over-saturated tourist city. Perfect sized portions and amazing wine and drinks. We're already planning a trip back!

The ravioli alla cime di rapa was very good, but the broccoli rabe was a little tough and bitter. The caesar salad was interesting because of the tonnata dressing that had tuna in it. It was presented like a wedge salad. The crouton stick on it was hard and tasteless. The limone e gamberi was good. The pasta was cooked well. The service was slow and our servers weren’t attentive. The setting was very pretty especially the outdoor dining area.

Fantastic experience for my birthday; I went with my parents for something luxurious and delicious, and this restaurant exceeded expectations. Amuse bush was the mushroom cappuccino, followed by a colossal charcuterie board with unique slices of Italian meat and cheese for appetizers. Caesar salad was presented unconventionally but was fun to figure out and enjoy. The main entree was the lobster risotto, and the cocktail was a Mescal Cosmopolitan highly recommend this dish and cocktail to anyone. Planning to visit again soon.

An absolute gem of Santa Fe! Their Mushroom Carbonara is the best pasta dish I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend if you have the opportunity.

Amazing food, fine dining service, beautiful space. Be sure to ask for indoor or outdoor seating when you make a reservation! Convenient location near Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.

Excellent staff and exquisite food! The Empress Martini is the prettiest and tastiest cocktail! Loved the Pear Carpaccio with the pearl pop’s of flavor and the salted caramel pearl was so unusual but fun. Also had the mushroom cappuccino, Buffalo bolognese, veal scaloppine in a delicate cream sauce, sea bass and for dessert, the Espressos Affogato. Lovely place and attentive staff.

My boyfriend and I ate here and had a wonderful time, we decided to try the tasting menu and enjoyed everything. It was worth the experience, our server William was very good, very nice. The other servers were also very attentive.

Amazing experience! Everyone was so nice. We had noted it was our anniversary when we made the reservation, and they brought us prosecco on arrival, wishing us, "Happy anniversary!". Drinks were delicious. Husband ordered the Negroni flight, and I ordered the Empress. Both did not disappoint! The mushroom soup was literally the best soup ever had! Wild boar ragu (special) was delicious. Had the sorbet trio for dessert - so good. Coconut sorbet in particular was a delight.

We had the Braised Duck and the Spaghetti Carbonara...both were created to perfection. The wine list is very impressive. The staff are all on their game.

This is without a doubt and hands-down the best Italian food I have ever tasted. After 31 years of marriage and countless dinners all over the world, my wife and I walked away from this dining experience and immediately agreed that it was the best meal we have ever shared together. Perfection. Twice, and I’m not making this up, I heard patrons at adjoining tables whisper “oh my God” after taking the first bite of their entree. Regardless of your faith, this place is religion.
