Loved this place! Everything was perfect. Felt more like a Santa Fe home than a motel. The vibe was super chill, super cool. We wish we would have stayed here for the first leg of our trip instead of just the last leg. No shade, but loved this place way more than the adjacent property we stayed at for the first leg of our trip. Staff is as super nice, super helpful. If we revisit, this place is at the top of the list. Thank you!!

We had an excellent stay! Clean room, so cozy, & clean. Staff was awesome & very friendly. The location was perfect for our trip with great restaurants close by. The coffee and cookies are a great touch! We did the kitchenette room & it was totally worth it. Will be back!

Buckle up kids, this review will be a long one! From the first moment we arrived, Brian Graves, GM and his wonderful staff gave us a warm welcome that included directions, a map, suggestions for upcoming events and landmark things to do and see. Bonus points for early check-in, genuinely friendly hospitality (it's obvious when it's not genuine), for being in good spirits and laughing at our jokes, the delicious mint tea and local legendary cookies plus free gifts and keepsakes and even a friendly follow-up to make sure we had everything we need! Once inside the room I immediately realized this GM is among the best in the business. The photos don't do room #1 justice it that's ok because I'm here to tell yuh and the first thing I noticed is how squeaky clean everything is and not just the obvious everyday stuff but also the things most businesses overlook such as the beautiful Spanish tile floors and counters (even the grout), every corner and crack including baseboards and all the appliances and fixtures. There's tons of lighting options and lots of storage including a huge dresser and large closet with shelves and plenty of hanging space and hangers plus large hooks for hanging anything and everything throughout. There's two ceiling fans, two windows and excellent AC unit plus rugs throughout so your feet stay warm on the cool tile floor. The bed is luxurious with super soft and cozy linens, EIGHT useable pillows plus an extra plush, warm blanket. There's a huge TV with cable and complimentary Netflix and more. I slept so good with the blinds drawn and the place is quiet with low key guests and no traffic noise. Even the procurement and placement of original paintings, prints and photography are on point. There are basically three seating areas in room #1 including one in the bedroom area, a dining option and a Craftsman leather recliner nestled next to a gorgeous antique bookcase that offers a diverse selection of books including local history, romance, fiction, biography, geography, cooking and more. I think there's even a deck of cards in there. The bathroom has a great mirror for applying makeup plus a well lit vanity mirror close enough to see yourself well in and there's a full length mirror on the closet door. There's a high pressure shower with adjustable handle nozzle, nice size tub and endless hot water. The basics are essential for a pleasurable stay but the personal touches or rather the things they don't have to provide are what makes this place beyond amazing. Just to name a few: silverware wrapped in cloth napkins, glassware variety for any occasion, upscale teas and honey, hot cocoa, freakin stevia, Keurig machine, a yoga mat and other exercise equipment, an umbrella, the playful rubber ducky and chili pepper staging, leaving every light on upon arrival like in a home tour, every cleanser, cream and sanitizer you could need provided to you in bulk (hence eliminating single use plastics), extra towels and paper supplies under the bathroom sink and Tesla charging stations. There's a gorgeous lounging area outside under shade trees that allows smoking and it's always clean. Finally, the location is great! It's not smack in the middle of the plaza action but it's a short walk or drive to everything you'll want to see while you're here. Attention to detail is their priority here and you will want for absolutely nothing unless it's more of that delicious complimentary tea and cookies from the lobby! I really have to give kudos to Brian and his team because they are absolutely top notch and just crushing it. I wish every company would take a note from Santa Fe Motel and Inn's playbook. Thank you all so much for this wonderful experience! We will never forget it!

This was a wonderful hotel with some really cute touches...rubber duckie in the shower, chili peppers on the towels and best of all, a basket of workout equipment in the room! Sometimes it's these little things that make your stay memorable. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly as well. Would highly recommend.

The property was very charming and quaint, not at all what you would think a "motel" might be. Cookies and tea were a nice treat to arrive to at the front desk after traveling all day too! The location was very convenient as well. You can take a 10 minute walk to the main square area, Whole Foods and restaurants or a super short drive to these areas. The rooms were nothing fancy but clean and roomy, I stayed in the king kitchenette room. The front desk staff was super nice, had great recommendations for restaurants and gave me all the extra coffee pods I asked for. However, I think there were a few things that could be updated in the rooms... the shower never really got hot but just warm enough to shower, which was disappointing. The throw rugs in the rooms seemed clean but were shabby and would make the room look cleaner if removed. The bedding was quite worn as well. All white bedding without the worn grey fleece blanket, throw pillows and blue quilt would definitely make the bed more inviting and cleaner looking. Overall, this was a comfortable and affordable place to stay compared to many other accommodations in the area.

Clean comfortable room. Wonderful bed after a long day of driving. Quick check in. Very quiet room hotel is off the main road. Our room had a full refrigerator and freezer nice when traveling to refreeze the cooler ice packs. Even an Alexa voice assistant in the room. Light breakfast yogurt, assorted fresh fruit etc is available. Plenty of parking but in a tight area.

Our first visit to Santa Fe, so didn’t know what to expect. Santa Fe Motel and Inn was amazing from the second we walked into reception. SO personable, we loved our room with all its facilities (clean and comfortable, easy parking, Alexa). The location is perfect for walking to the entertainment and shopping areas. Highly recommended hotel in Santa Fe.

This place is a diamond in the rough. They not only welcomed us and our fur baby to this beautiful oasis, they even made dinner reservations for us before we arrived. Josh was so helpful giving us maps and showing us exactly how to get where we needed to go and giving us ideas of all of the interesting things to do and see. We will definitely be back.

Very happy with my stay here! Walking distance to everything in the historic downtown area and right by several restaurants and the farmer's market. The coffee served at breakfast was memorably good, as were the cookies. The room and bathroom were great. There was some road noise, but that didn't bother me. And staff were all super nice.

Stayed there twice in March 2023. First time in room 3- don't recommend due to noisy boiler. 2nd stay room 6 much better. Super cozy, warm, great design, beds, pillows, breakfast and location is fantastic!

This place was nice and the service was very good. We simply asked to leave due to a bug infestation in our room (we understand it’s that time of year). Our bathroom pluming fixtures did have a fairly strong sewer odor as well. The breakfast was great, staff very friendly and location was a short walk to plaza and even shorter to rail yard. Manager was very understanding.

Cannot fully describe how pleased we were with our recent stay at the Santa Fe Motel & Inn. We had a six-night stay in Santa Fe and chose one of their patio rooms, which was absolutely perfect for just sitting and relaxing at the end of summer. The Santa Fe Motel & Inn has a delicious, healthy breakfast available daily with steel cut oats, fresh fruits, juices, coffee, tea & etc. Every member of the staff we encountered during our stay was helpful, courteous and extremely pleasant. The location is perfect for walking to the Railyard district or downtown to the plaza. We didn't have a car and didn't need one. Absolutely book your stay at the Santa Fe Motel & Inn with confidence. You won't be disappointed.

The front desk staff, especially Brian, are all very friendly, kind, and helpful. We loved the room! They are so uniquely “Santa Fe” and very comfortable. Also, the breakfast foods and toiletry items are environmentally conscientious…we really enjoyed the organic food options! Very highly recommended staying at this lovely establishment!!

Great location and a nice high-end budget (lol) hotel. It was almost perfect except for the noise from our upstairs neighbors. This has been a theme this week as we stayed here during balloon fiesta week, and we've had this issue all over NM. The room itself was fine, the bed was ok but we just didn't sleep very much because of the squeaky floors upstairs....ALL NIGHT. They were walking all around their room every hour. All night. The Echo was nice to have. We played rain sounds to try to lull us to sleep. When we checked out, we were asked how our stay was, and we let them know about the noise. They told us, "Next time, give him (manager) a call no matter what time it is, and he will address the noise immediately." That is great customer service. Overall, we were happy with the value and location.

Room 2 was super cute with a lil Southwest funky vibe. The location is perfect from the outskirts of the old town. And the breakfast was simple and real good! It's worth a stay.

First of all, Josh is the best manager ever. I called, we were lost & this gentleman had the most patient understanding & clear direction to help us. We found it right away. He immediately noticed we were frustrated & tired upon checking in. He checked us in right away, with all the amazing details of the property. Quick and fast. We even had trouble because parking was full & he moved his own vehicle because I had kneed procedures just recently & there was no where to park. What a wonderful young man. Thank you sir, for your extremely helpful customer service, making this stay beyond enjoyable. Thank you Josh!

Superb walkable location - my pups and I had a great visit here in Nov 2023. The management and staff obviously care about the property and the entire guest experience. Warm, welcoming, and 'Santa Fe quaint' - - I'd love to stay here again in the future! Having car charging parking spots onsite was so convenient and appreciated! Note: the bed was on the softer side if that's a factor for you. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

What a great discovery at an amazing price. Large, comfortable rooms set in a beautifully landscaped setting minutes from everything. Plenty of free on-site parking. Complimentary breakfast of organic oatmeal with all the toppings, plus fruit and fresh local coffee. Special shout out to front desk staff Josh and Ben for their terrific customer service Santa Fe is a favorite getaway and now I've found my go-to haven.

Very pleased with our stay at the Santa Fe Motel & Inn. We stayed for three nights in one of the Casitas during mid-November. The room itself exceeded expectations and felt very home-like. Room was clean and had all the desired amenities: microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, ice bucket, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The location made it easy to walk to some of the museums and to the Santa Fe Plaza. Highly recommend the Santa Fe Motel & Inn. It’s a well-kept place, the staff is friendly, and it was at an affordable price!

loved this inn so so much!! our room was so cute and the location is great. front desk staff is really nice. we walked to both dinner and breakfast. don’t get your hopes up about the motel breakfast (it was super limited) but DO get your hopes about the anise cookies they were so good!!! walls were a little thin so we could hear kids moving around upstairs but they do have alexa’s in the room that you can use as a sound machine.

This place was such a find. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are curated too create such a great vibe. All of the staff is attentive and accommodating. They see that your stay is as good as they possibly can. Upon check in we were given our room keys in a sanitized baggie that included a small hand painted spanish tile as a momento that my daughter snatched up and has yet to relinquish. Before checkout we sat in the courtyard and enjoyed a wonderful healthy organic breakfast and fantastic local coffee. I cannot recommend this place enough. Seems rare too find a place this well managed anymore.

We stayed in Casita Bonita for a couple of nights with our dog and absolutely loved it! The casita is so cute and comfy and fully equipped with everything you need, we especially loved the gas fireplace and laundry! Quick walk to Whole Foods, tons of restaurants, and all the downtown Santa Fe things as well. The customer service here is fantastic, everyone we spoke with was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was simple but fresh and high quality. We were amazed at the price - the value is excellent! All around I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

I liked this place so much that I've already made plans to stay here the next time I'm in the area...the staff are very professional and they have a great selection of tourist brochures in the lobby (along with the iconic biscochitos!). The rooms were unpretentious, spacious and decorated in a homey southwestern style (with cute chile peppers in the room). They have an Alexa in the room. The cleaning service was excellent, and included a fresh drinking water supply. The location is just a few minutes from town.

Wow we loved this stay. The room (a casita, I believe) was super clean, and so pretty. Tiled floors, skylight, king bed. And they had water waiting for us when we arrived which we could get refilled. Very nice considering we were traveling with our pet and didn’t want to leave the room to get water from a convenience store. It felt like they actually cared about us here. Not to mention the breakfast and the community breakfast nook complete with a fireplace. We felt like we’d entered heaven. Thank you Santa Fe Motel and Inn, we will be back!!!

Best hotel we stayed at during our 2 week road trip. The rooms are big, nice, comfortable, and updated. Old town was maybe a 10 minute walk away, but requires crossing some busy streets that lack stop signs or lights. It was very nice of them to include a free breakfast, as most hotels don't post-COVID. Get a second floor room if possible, because we could pretty clearly hear the people above us walking around and whatnot.

What a FIVE star experience! There was so much attention to detail for comfort, ease and experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms were magical to me. It's decorated nicely and again, comfortable with lots of little things they did, like have a caraf of water for the coffee maker, choices for coffee, a little sourvenir, great breakfast, etc. I can't say enough about this place. We enjoyed it very much and wished we had another day.

We had an amazing time during our stay at the Santa Fe Motel and Inn. Our room was so cozy and charming, and it's clear a lot of effort is put into providing guests with a positive experience. The location is also fantastic. We hope to get to stay here again!

10/10 loved my stay here! Andrea and other front desk staff were very kind and welcoming! My room was comfortable and cozy. Would love to stay again during my next visit in Santa Fe.

    - Noah was at the desk upon check-in, and was very welcoming. - Because Noah was so helpful knowledgeable about Santa Fe, he was able to easily give us directions to the nearest attractions and restaurants/bars. We got in Sunday evening and only stayed one night, so if it wasn't for him telling us specific ideas we wouldn't have had time to do anything, since the places closed fairly early. We would have been able to make it to one place before everything closed if we were lucky, but because of him we were able to plan and walk to several places and enjoy the sights. - The place is so charming! The room was unique and there are a lot of slick touches, like the inclusion of an Amazon Alexa to ask the weather or such, and adjustable showerheads. It was a very comfortable stay. The accommodations are simplistic but they thought of everything. There was even an umbrella in the room. - The price was very affordable for the quality of the experience. Continental breakfast, WiFi, television, and even some toiletries like face wash in the bathroom.

This place is such a fun place to stay. The location is positively fabulous as it is walking distance to the plaza and to many great restaurants! There are car charging stations as well. The decor is typical southwest and it blends in well with the nature that surrounds it. There are rooms and casitas. There is a small outdoor room for eating with a kiva fireplace and fountain. The coffee was tasty and a choice of teas were also available. There is also a nice patio upstairs where we sat and had our wine one evening. There was quite a bit of street noise but we were there on a busy weekend and our room was next to the road. The office staff was nice and accommodating. And a pleasant surprise was the Amazon Echo Dot in our room. We will return to this place.

Andrea (spelling?) at front desk was fantastic. I came in with a long truck F-150 and the parking area is small & tight. She went above to help me find a parking spot and we actually ended up staying in their Casita Bonita house across street. The truck fit perfect and the house was super charming, clean ( full kitchen, washer /dryer, patio). The walk to downtown is close.

SF Motel & Inn is a gem of a hideaway within steps of the historic district! This is not a cookie cutter place (thank goodness), yet it has all the amenities that we wanted: access to an outdoor fireplace, more than enough space for luggage, plenty of options for outdoor picnicking, and a healthy breakfast. The staff members were all friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. Our room was immaculately clean! To top it off, the property is simply charming.

Before I even got here the communication was excellent. Noah was on shift when I checked in and he was very kind. He had recommendations, made sure that my room (w/ patio by the way) was suitable and met my expectations and what I had planned he validated. I'm down to earth and am not a demanding person whatsoever, the room was perfect for me and my pup. Before we left to continue our journey through the west I wanted to fill up our gallon jugs with water. I went to the office and spoke with Brian B. (the other Brian is the manager) and he provided a funnel to fill up my containers through their filtered system. Thanks a lot, Brian, that went a long way, I appreciated it. Also, for those that drive EV, they have complimentary chargers here, you can't beat that. We stayed for 3 nights and would come back here in a second. This is our go to place when in Santa Fe, that is for sure. Not just saying it, this place is a 'hidden gem'. We will be back!

Casita Bonita was absolutely amazing! Beautiful, clean, quite, comfortable and perfect for 2 little dogs in the fenced in yard or attached dog run. Only suggestion, wish the website or front desk staff would have mentioned that breakfast was included. Didn't find out until we checked out and had already obtain breakfast elsewhere. We'll most certainly go back.

  • 5/5 Victoria H. 2 years ago on Google
Noah at the front desk is the bomb.com! He called me ahead of my arrival to check if we're making it through the snow okay. It gave me a fantastic impression ahead of arrival. The check in process was easy peasy. Clean rooms with a faint lemony-fresh scent. Showers are super tiny and awkward though. Decor is delightfully New Mexican. I was surprised that there was a light breakfast spread with coffee and tea. Everything about my stay was superb. The word "motel" always made me uneasy but this was the best motel I've ever experienced. Give my man Noah a raise! He's a keeper.

There are many wonderful things about Santa Fe Motel and Inn. The location is great and the hospitality is unbeatable. Noah suggested several great places to eat and historical sites that were a short walk from the motel. Overall, the room was very homey with extra touches such as a carafe of water, tea/coffee/coco and a cute clay title to take as a souvenir. The reason I am leaving 3 stars is due to standard comforts not being met. We stayed in room 3. The bed is very old and worn out. It might be the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in at a hotel/motel. The sheets were nice and clean though. Worst of all, the ceiling is very very thin. We could hear the guests staying in the room above us walking around and talking. The first 2 nights these guests came home after we had already gone to bed and the creaking floorboards were so loud that it woke us up. Additionally, there was a loud knocking/tapping coming from the walls. Perhaps from an old plumbing system? These noises were so loud and disruptive that I could hear them through ear plugs. Unfortunately, we did not sleep well any of the 3 nights we were there. For the price per night I would expect a better mattress and sound proofing between units. We were really surprised and bummed to have had a negative experience because there are so many amazing reviews. So maybe it’s just room 3 that’s loud and uncomfortable, but I figured it was worth mentioning for future guests.

It is a beautiful property, love the location and it was super super clean. The room had everything we needed: Lotion, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouth wash dish soap, kitchen essentials, tea and coffee. The only thing I feel they need to improve on is their breakfast. For breakfast they had Bananas, oranges, apples, cookies, coffee and tea. I also did not like that I texted the manager as suggested on the welcoming info if we had any questions and received no response. Despite calling the front desk before and no one answered.
