We were there to enjoy a good meal. Now that they have inside seating we thought to enjoy the food and service and atmosphere. Unfortunately place was half empty, the service was not that great, the waitress seemed preoccupied with talking with others. The food was not of quality that we are used to. We ordered steak fajitas and the meat was tasting like it was spoiled. Or it could have been the seasoning. We also ordered a pork chop breakfast and I spent the next day in the restroom for it. Been here in the past, this is not the same place we've come to enjoy. Larry a question on how things were going at our table, it was more like drop items and run. Worst customer service ever we got our sopapillas after we asked for our ticket instead of my getting them with our meal. Jose our servers excuse was that he was tired and his brain was too tired to work. On top of getting the worst customer service I ordered the roast beef sopapilla and the roast beef was the deli sandwich roast beef not the the real shredded beef. If I can give a zero star I would. Never going back there again. Instead of checking on his customers Jose was chatting with his co workers at the bar.

We both had the fajitas, beef for me and chicken for my wife. Best that I have had in a long time. She agreed. More food than we needed. The margaritas were very good also. Service was exceptional.

I don’t recommend this place. We were scolded by the manager for sitting in a closed section even though the hostess gladly sat us there. Then we were charged exorbitantly for chips and salsa which is traditionally complimentary. That is on top of their already high prices for what is average cuisine. The only thing I’ll give credit to is the quality of their sopapillas.

The place is amazing and (Ivan) the owner is a extremely generous and Nobel man, we came visiting from Tucson and the owner talked to us and gave us many recommendations for places to visit in Santa Fe. The food is right on spot very authentic and fresh. The pancakes are the owners mothers recipe and they are the best I ever had. Their sopapillas bread is fresh and flawless 100/10 Highly recommend

Food is sensational. This is the first place I ate New Mexican cuisine after being gone for 13 years. I returned a few days ago and love the chips, salsa, iced tea, and Christmas cheese enchiladas. The sopapillas are some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I thought the price was reasonable, especially for Santa Fe.

This place had excellent Mexican food. My boyfriend ordered the Frito pie and I ordered the chicken quesadilla. The quesadilla was so good the chicken was tender and the tortilla was light and crispy.

I love the cheesy enchiladas. The flour tortilla is oiled up but not so much where you can taste the warm tortilla as well. I enjoyed some live music once in a while. Very chill place.

Perfectly serviceable and traditional New Mexican fare...not much else I can say. Not the best I've had but far from the worst. Fajitas were pretty good, as were the margaritas.

Needed to kill some time before our meow wolf visit, super close so we checked it out. We got the tortilla soup and taco plate. It was pretty good, the hostess was sweet and the waiter was kind and quick with our order. Hardly any wait. Overall, an okay food experience.

We stopped n for a late lunch early dinner. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, service was good, prices reasonable, and we rally enjoyed our meal. I had the pork chop, hubby had tamal. The Cadillac margaritas were excellent and so was dessert! Beans n rice very tasty as well!

The food was wonderful. I got a breakfast burrito with chorizo and it did not disappoint. They have a variety of options to choose from and breakfast items are available until 5pm. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Great place to stop for some New Mexican cuisine.

Passing through Santa Fe this evening and picked this spot - the service was the worst we have EVER experienced! We were told 20 minute wait, not seated for 45 minutes... We were seated at the same time as 2 other families that arrived later than us - they got served first! The other family even pointed to us and said that we shoukd be served first, but the server ignored her and didn't come to us for another 5 minutes. Waited forever for drinks and chips. Didn't refill the chips, or drinks... Sat for over 10 minutes after being seated to get our drinks and order. It was 1 hr 15 minutes from arriving that we got some food - they weren't even that busy Terrible, terrible service! I've also never been to a Mexican restaurant where they don't give you beans and rice with your meal... left hungry

They have the hands down best green chile con queso! Both their breakfast and their lunch/dinner menu are full of authentic New Mexican food plus some American fare. I've been meeting family here for years, have tried most of the menu, and am always happy with whatever I order. Even their vegetarian burrito is great and their sopapillas are big and fresh. They have a several dining areas and are good about seating you where you want to go. There is a nice patio with an overhead heater, lots of space for meeting family or friends, and there are big TVs near the bar if you want to catch the game. I always take friends from out of state here before we go to Meow Wolf.

Amazing place to eat, and the pancakes are the best I've ever had! Our waitress was very attentive and kind.

Good food. I think businesses need to stop using COVID as an excuse for things; in this case, no more complimentary chips and salsa (hasn't been an issue at any other Mexican food place I've been to). Food came out quick and was yummy. Service was prompt and friendly.

The old lady hostess was nice and sweet. The food was decent however one person in our party had a broken glass in their food nearing chipping a tooth! From there we were cautious on eating. Waiter kept forgetting our food. He forgot to bring out our chips and salsa and order of fries. He didn't refill our drinks. When we were going to check out he gave me and my parties our tickets and then later asked for the tickets back and added 20% gratituty. However, the service was not worth the 20% he charged us.

Got the daily specials..spicy ribs and pork carnitas...food eas very tasty and flavorful but overcooked. Both meals were absolutely overcooked, too exhausted to complain but left disappointed. Flavor is there, cooking time was off

Wow, amazing food! My wife and I shared the fajitas… really good. We came by after an afternoon of Meow Wolf.

This is a favorite for my family, the pandemic has definitely hit this little spot when it comes to staffing, at least as of my last visit. The chile is consistently amazing, and I am always happy to have their breakfast. Definite recommendation if you are looking for a local watering hole with consistent food, local ownership, and a great following.

I liked it. Rellenos. Posole. Frijoles. Thick and soft corn tortillas. The rellenos had more batter than I prefer, but maybe they'll be just right for you. Sopapillas!
