I rarely ever give places bad reviews. I gave it 1 star based on seating options, customer service, taste, prices, and overall environment. The reason they have so much business is because of the location, and it seems like such a cute place from the looks of it. They were very snappy to us and we were trying to be very polite. They kept yelling and it was just a very bad experience. Also the prices are completely ridiculous!!! It was 9$ FOR A SMALL CUP OF STRAWBERRIES. I didn’t know it was 9$ before I bought it because it said prices depend on seasons. They also had open tables but didn’t let us sit. So they gave us cheap paper plates and little bendy plastic forks and we went to the park to sit down and eat. Please please please don’t go here until they fix all of these problems.

I’ve been going here since 2007 and this place has always been consistently good. The Mushroom, Chicken and Spinach crepe is my favorite thing to get. Quiche is great too. Make sure you try one of their seasonal fresh fruit crepes as well. It is a small restaurant so the space is very tight but I honestly didn’t mind much at all

If you want a good French bakery, don’t go here. Go to Milles!!!! The food is better and cheaper and the service is miles above this place. The croque madame was soggy and the crepe was $18. Half the restaurant was empty and the service was still extremely slow. I would not come back or recommend this place. Mille’s is so much better and well worth the money.

The Food was delicious 😋 so good. Love seeing many different people and the savory bacon cheese egg crepe are to die for so good 😊. Their Quiches were incredibly good so light and fluffy but very filling. Hand down place to come‼️‼️‼️

Was not impressed, from the service to the food. The service was slow, nonchalant. Wiping the table crumbs onto the floor as we were sitting at the table was definitely off-put·ting and is what stands out most from our visit here. The food was not my taste. The mushroom/ chili quiche was horrible. The French Swiss cheese was ok. The strawberry tart was good, probably the best thing but still not anything spectacular. Room for improvement in the service to include, friendliness, acknowledgment of the customers and a sense of urgency would have been a nice. I'm hopeful they have better tasting options but I won't be returning to find out.

Nestled in the charming ambiance of the pastry shop, our experience at the French Pastry shop and restaurant was delightful. The freshly made pastries we shared were not only delicious but truly captured the essence of French baking. Personally, the cream puff stole the show for me. The atmosphere transported us to Europe, creating a wonderful dining atmosphere. A definite recommendation for pastry lovers seeking an authentic taste and ambiance.

One of my all time favorite places to visit in Santa Fe. The owners/managers/staff are always welcoming and provide a wonderful experience and quality service to get you in and out in a timely manner. ALL of the pastries are delightful! From the quiche selection to the cream puffs, to the best napoleon you will have, I suggest having a meal and taking some treats home too!! The ambience is perfect and especially considering the high volume they experience, the restaurant is well kept and clean! I absolutely love this spot.

Walked in this place early and it was quiet and nice. Pastries were delicious. Service was not as quick for us unfortunately. But it was clean and lovely inside.

Food good, ambiance great, service fast & amazing, except coffee horrible. They really need to replace their old dinner like silverware and mugs. You go there for the quintessential Santa Fe atmosphere and French pastries.

We walked into this place on a whim and thought the interior was very charming. The food, however, was not good. My partner ordered the torte Milanese and the pastry was absolutely raw on the bottom, he couldn’t eat it. I ordered the spinach and cheese crepe and it was more of a thin pancake than a true crepe, the filling was also bland. I would not recommend this place.

I had a mediocre lunch here with my family on New Year’s Eve. We have been here a couple of times before and enjoyed our time, but today was subpar. We ordered French onion soup, a Ratatouille crêpe, hot chocolate, and a raspberry cookie. While the desserts were tasty, the savory dishes seemed bland to us. The waiter was somewhat rude to us, and our table was slightly dirty when we sat down. It was nice of them to give us a partial refund though after a bit of wrangling with the manager. The ambiance was lovely, but the mood was a bit hectic.

We were there on a busy holiday weekend and despite being busy we were taken care of fantastically. The food was tasty, reasonably priced, and the place was warm and comfortable despite a dusting of snow and plenty of wind. A sign said "All pastries made with pure butter made fresh daily" and we believed it. Our meal was fresh, flakey, buttery, good! It's centrally located near all the downtown hotels and easily walkable. We'll definitely be back when we stay in Santa Fe again.

What a quaint, busy little place! We felt like we were in a restaurant in Europe. We had the Napoléon and the St. Michel. Oh my goodness, these were so very delicious and something we've never eaten before! Definitely check this place out and have something delicious! Service was excellent!

For early-rising, East Coast visitors, early coffee options are limited. Luckily, this quaint, atmospheric and friendly coffee and pasty shop opens at 630a. They have a selection of pastries (sweet and savory ), quiche (the Chile Mushroom and Cheese is tasty) and crepe options. Coffee and tea are also available, and don’t forget to drink your water. Service was friendly and quick. I’d recommend this spot to stop for anyone.

One of our must visits when in town. Sweet or savory, whichever you like, they have what you need. My go to breakfast here is a croque madame and a fruit tart. You can't go wrong, regardless of what you choose.

Delicious large crepe with eggs, cheese and Chorizo (a bit spicy). Their Latte is very light.( I normally have a latte but this was more milk then usual. Had to order an espresso to add to it. Very cute place. Our waitress was very nice and friendly. Will be back to try their pastries. They look delicious.

Service was fast and friendly. I ordered an iced mocha with almond milk and a red velvet macaron, both items were delicious! I went during lunch time, and I expected a long line. When I made my way inside, the restaurant was busy, but there was no line to order my coffee and pastry! I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their pastries!

Neat little French creperie. I was a little set back by the tiny éclair being almost $9, but it was very tasty. The cappuccino was good but they could use a nice paper style cup instead of the cheap hotel coffee cups. It's sort of dulls the experience. Also, don't get there 30 min before close and expect to enjoy your goodies as they will only sell it to go. Over all it was good. I'm just peticular.

I love playing tourist in New Mexico’s state capital & a trip to Santa Fe isn’t complete without a sweet treat from French Pastry Shop & Restaurant. Consistently great service, amazing food & the treats are worth the drive by themselves. 10/10 would recommend.

Love this french cafe. Its pastries are exquisite, and the atmosphere couldn't be better. During summer it gets very busy with all the tourists, it is a popular place. They prepare everything on a daily basis, which is what makes it so delicious. The counterpart to that is that, if you arrive later in the day, there may not be some of their pastries that they prepare, because they were already sold out, which can be disappointing.

Cute bistro - love the interior. Enjoyed the croque madame, quiche, pastries... opens super early as well and is a block off the plaza so landed there a couple of mornings for breakfast, coffee, and good people watching. The pastries do sell out by mid afternoon so grab em early!

RECOMMENDED: BREAKFAST/BRUNCH Quaint breakfast stop in the heart of Santa Fe located in one of the Southwest's most unique historical hotel destinations. The French Pastry Shop & Creperie is appropriately renouned as a foodie staple among Santa Fe's cultural edible art scene. Before stepping out to the local galleries, come enjoy a festive food palette of fresh aromatic artisan quiches, savory bistro sandwiches & colorful eye catching sweets! NOTE: FREQUENTLY BUSY If possible, consider arriving at opening. However, they're open for lunch & afternoon meals, too. Also, the parking garage can get spendy, but there's frequently a few blocks from the plaza square.

Croque Madame and Monsieur were delicious. The chocolate mousse and the eclair, I hoped to be over the top (being a "French bakery") but there's room for improvement. Staff was very friendly but busy. The atmosphere is cozy.

Great friendly service and great pastries. Definitely drop by if you're visiting Santa Fe and need a snack break. They offer both sweet and savory items depending on which mood you're in.

Oh my god!! Absolutely delicious!! I'd come here every day if I lived here. Everything was extremely fresh. Service is a little slow because it's so busy. But it's a must to try if you are in town!!!

The quiche Lorraine is delicious and definitely recommended! The crepe was average and nothing special, but what was a nice surprise was the amount of fruit it contained. However, disappointing it didn’t have any whipped cream.

This crêpe place is one of the best locations to eat at the heart of Santa Fe, and a must when you are walking downtown and need a quick break from the visiting and shopping. For starters, coffee is amazing! The staff is extremely nice and everything looks neat and clean. The place’s atmosphere is great, suitable for everybody, whether you are by yourself, on a date or with family. I specially liked the salty crepes, since I don’t normally like sweet stuff, but have a self debt with myself to try the Ratatouille they have on the menu next time I visit. Their pastries are also delicious!! And their dishes presentation is also very good! Prices are also very reasonable, and usually cheaper than any other place to eat around the area, which doesn’t take merit from their quality at all, since all their ingredients are first class! Very recommended!

A delightful stop for breakfast, brunch or coffee and a pastry. Located right off the Plaza in the La Fonda hotel it's an ideal spot when shopping or seeing the sights of downtown Santa Fe.

Extremely busy place since it's on the Plaza. The seats are a little too close for comfort considering we are still in the middle of a pandemic. Plus they are so close that it's difficult to walk by without knocking something off! We got the spinach quiche, ratatouille crepe and a french grilled cheese. For dessert we got the black forest cake. Quiche was excellent, ratatouille was bland and had no flavor. French grilled cheese was alright. Black forest cake was excellent.

The pastry shop was super tasty!!! We got croissants to go and they were so good. Got a table right Away and the server did a fantastic job.

Love their quiches, we tried mushroom and chile, crepes, croque monsieur, tourte milanaise, french onion soup, black forest and strawberry berry tart.

I brought my baby and they were really sweet and accommodating! Plus the food is just spectacular. I had the French onion soup & my daughter had quiche and crepe.

Lovely french cafe and patisserie. Very busy on a Sunday morning. There is indoor dining or you can order just pastries and drinks to go. Service was fast and efficient. We didn't have to wait long for a table that fit 5. Food was delicious 😋. Staff were friendly and attentive. Glad we picked this for breakfast.
