We
rented
this
house
during
the
Christmas
period
22nd
to
the
27th
December.
Our
children
all
being
professional
adults
were
going
to
meet
us
in
Granada
and
spend
Christmas
with
us.
Granada
is
a
great
city
to
visit
during
this
festive
time
and
we
were
all
looking
forward
to
it.
We
had
been
planning
this
since
August
2017
when
we
booked
this
accommodation
for
five
people
and
Midnight
our
Cocker
Spaniel.
The
house
as
advertised
is
for
6
people
and
we
were
still
unsure
whether
my
daughter’s
boyfriend
was
going
to
join
us.
Lorena,
the
owner
of
the
complex,
confirmed
that
the
dog
was
welcomed
and
also
confirmed
the
availability,
so
we
booked.
She
never
mentioned
charging
any
extra
for
the
dog.
Roll
on
22nd
December
we
all
made
our
way
to
the
Termas
of
Santa
Fe.
Six
of
us
and
our
dog.
We
had
picked
up
my
son
from
Malaga
airport
and
carried
out
some
Christmas
food
shopping,
trusting
that
all
the
appliances
in
the
house
worked
correctly.
On
arrival
we
were
met
by
Lorena
who
lead
us
to
a
house
within
this
complex
of
five.
(Its
important
to
note
that
the
place
is
full
of
cats.)
We
were
shown
to
a
house
that
did
not
resemble
at
all
the
one
we
had
booked
through
Trip
advisor.
On
questioning
this
we
were
told
that
a
large
family
had
booked
the
other
houses
and
we
had
been
reallocated
to
accommodate
them!

we
were
put
in
and
judge
for
yourselves).
We
did
not
want
this
to
spoil
our
Christmas,
so
even
though
we
were
disappointed,
we
decided
to
make
the
best
of
it…but
this
was
just
the
start
of
our
nightmare…On
the
23rd
as
we
started
to
prepare
for
the
Christmas
eve
meal
we
noticed
that
the
oven
was
not
working!
To
this
you
could
add
all
of
the
following:
1.The
interior
decorations
and
layout
of
the
house
that
we
were
allocated
did
not
resemble
at
all
the
accommodation
that
was
being
advertised
and
that
we
subsequently
was
expecting,
this
is
a
clear
case
of
misrepresentation;
2.
most
of
the
bulbs
in
the
living
room
lighting
were
not
working;
3.
the
spotlights
in
the
bathroom
had
a
bad
connection
and
would
only
work
on
some
occasions;
4.The
water,
even
when
run
for
more
than
15
minutes
was
never
HOT,
but
luke
warm;
5.
Every
time
we
connected
the
toaster
the
house
fuse
would
trip,
leaving
us
in
the
dark;
6.
Some
sheets
were
stained;
7.
There
weren't
any
tea
towels
to
dry
the
plates
-
we
has
to
buy
a
couple;
8.
there
was
only
a
Cafetiere,
no
kettle,
so
we
had
to
buy
a
kettle;
9.
The
oven
did
not
work,
that
spoiled
our
Christmas
eve
dinner,
the
tray
in
the
oven,
did
not
belong
to
the
oven
at
all
as
it
did
not
fit
the
rungs.
To
expect
your
customers
to
use
a
BBQ
or
another
customer's
facilities
as
an
alternative,
is
just
not
acceptable;
10.
The
makeshift
switch
for
the
Jacuzzi
is
absolutely
dangerous
with
an
exposed
electric
die
not
even
covered
by
insulating
tape
or
any
other
cover;
11.
There
weren't
enough
towels
or
cutlery
for
the
number
of
persons
that
the
accommodation
was
rented
out
for;
12.
the
WIFI,
was
so
poor
that
our
devices
would
not
connect
to
it;
13.
There
weren't
any
paintings
in
the
picture
frames
in
the
main
bedroom;
14.
the
Iron
was
unusable
as
its
plate
was
stained;
Confronted
with
all
of
this
Lorena,
decided
that
it
was
acceptable
to
accuse
us
of
potentially
breaking
the
oven
and
appearing
with
seven
people
and
an
announced
mascot.
We
have
the
emails
and
log
in
the
Trip
Advisor
“rental
inbox”
to
prove
that
what
we
are
alleging
is
the
truth.
Also
look
at
the
pictures
and
compare
with
what
is
being
advertised…We
were
so
disappointed
that
we
decided
to
leave
on
the
25th
to
another
rented
accommodation.
We
requested
to
being
compensated
due
to
the
fact
that
the
facilities
she
was
advertising
was
not
really
in
existence
and
she
refused.
