I am a foreigner but I recommend this restaurant strongly. You can enjoy the real mexican foods and feel the atmosphere of traditional. (Tips) Eat pozzole with cream. I like pork head meat. Mollete is not bad but less than expected. Anyway I recommend here to you all!

Our visit to La Casa de Los Abuelos was very disappointing. Service was atrocious!!! The restaurant was not busy and our server was completely useless. I ordered my hot chocolate and waited 40 minutes before it arrived. That was after I reminded the server of my missing drink twice . Disappointing service also extended to others in our party of 9 who... - received quesadillas and tacos that were cold, - ordered items didn't arrive, or were incorrect. - our bill included an item that we didn't order and then when we advised the server, he rudely argued with us before finally changing the bill. - My wife's pozole arrived when our entire party had finished eating. We won't be going back, and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place, good selection of simple Mexican food and pastry. Good price, a bit busy during rash hours

YUM! Great food at good value. I had pozole with pork and it was good, but I had the order of panuchos and was obsessed with them so I ordered a second order!!! Ñom!!!!!

We used to like coming here for breakfast, lunch or dinner but lately we are dissappointed with the food quality and the service. Nowadays both are downright awfull. It was worth dropping by on weekends when they offerred borrego but now it is no longer part of the menu; instead they have new combinations with “blah” taste. Our server even forgot what we ordered. Never coming back! This place is going downhill.

Cordon blue wasn’t tasty and fresh.

Neighborhood family-style restaurant; kind of old but they have a lot to choose from in terms of menu and pastries; not many vegetarian options but there are a few things like the provolone omelette. It was clean enough, the feel was older; service is very nice and they were accommodating. I got a fruit cup with oats and cream that was good. You can tell they’re not used to getting tourists but they tried to help us best they could (our Spanish was more limited than we wished). Overall fine to eat a quick bite if you’re not looking for high-end cuisine.

Service staff showed absolutely no level of commitment to customer service and essentially created a dining experience that I would like to forget.

No alcohol options. Small place. Hotter by afternoon. Great portions and variety. Children's area. No parking place. Great service.

Great place for Mexican food in an area where sometimes is hard to find. Fair prices for the zone. Friendly service.

This place is like a cheap Denny's. Skip the enchiladas with mole - the sauce doesn't soft enough to soften the tortillas. Pozole was ok. Surprisingly slow service. The churros they served us were completely raw.

We loved the sweet atmosphere of this place! We look forward to going for lunch and giving our 4 yr old an opportunity to play

Handmade tortillas is a whole different thing. I’m enjoying now the famous Mexicans Tacos.

Terrible meat, dry, hard. Place to avoid. No alcoholic beverages
