Archeological site in beautiful surroundings. There is not much to see but caves and some structures, unfortunately without further explanation of what you’re looking at, but the wonderful location makes this visit worthwhile

Great views and amazing pictures available. Be sure to wear sports shoes and sun protection. There are no trash garbage cans nearby so I advice you to bring a bag if you are going to eat on site.

Very interesting museum/interpretation center about the findings at the Fortaleza de Ansite site. The center offers a lot of information and showcases quite a few pieces. We did a tour and took part in an amaxing stargazing event.

You must like old history. You need to imagine how it was on those days. I guess that is the point. I personally dont find it apeling but it is really subjective. The walking paths in that area are amazing though.

Amazing to see how the people lived on Gran Canaria in the past. It isn't a really large museum, so you've seen everything in about 2 hours. There is a large interactive screen where you can make puzzles and they show films about how the people lived.

Largely deserted, not much info about the site. Footpath quite uneven & doesn't go far. Best bit was a cave where you can see right through the rock to the other side.

Amazing place with a lot of history. Make sure to visit the museum before coming to the main cave area so you have a better appreciation for the area! You can walk around multiple sets of caves and explore as long as you want, make sure to bring water and sun cream as it gets really hot! There is a restaurant beside the museum for food before/after your visit. We ate there and it was perfect.

10 minute "hike", but really rewarding - view is just different than from Roque Nublo or Pico de las Nieves, it's worth checking it.

A great place to visit History and Nature both! Not many ppl here (at least when we visited). So we had the possibilty to strive between the ruins. A special place we nearly missed: there is the entry to a cave at the right hand side of the location. Actually it is a hole that leads straight through the mountain and you can continue around the mountain back to ruins. Sadly there is not much signs/documentation around. So we had to search for information online. A bit towards Santa Lucia is a museum with other objects from the site that probably would have provided more information. Sadly we did not have the time to visit it.

We hesitate to climb at first but it was worth it. Very beautiful and safe caves. You should wear climbing shoes to be more comfortable climbing.

Impressive archeological site. Worth entering the cave and going around the mountain. I highly recommend visiting the Centro de interpretación located 500m before coming to the site.
