We did not know about this spot but it's also a very old bakery, they have a coffee shop inside with sandwiches and pastries that are not typical of Mexico.

Frankly, this place is excellent. Even if they did make a mistake--which I've not yet experienced--the quality to cost ratio is so absurd you'll quickly look over it. My wife and I had a toxina breakfast sandwich, Americano, cappuccino, two high quality doughnuts, and two waters all for $4.90 USD. That's absurd. One small issue: no hay baños públicos.

I love this bakery chain and I stumbled upon it today in a beautiful location. What a way to just enjoy a little bit of luxury in a beautiful setting and don’t cost much either. Love theses business that takes care of these historic places ❤️❤️❤️ I walked so much every day and I found these places are just a place to sit a bit yo recharge, drink my water 💦 before I get going again 🚶‍♀️

I had a slice of chocolate cake. It tasted good but overall it was pretty average. It cost $58

Beautiful bakery with many choices, and very good value for money. The speed of the coffee line could be improved as it was a long wait.

I love the ambiance, but I had a terrible experience with the two rude female baristas. They told me they couldn’t make any cold drinks for the next twenty minutes, and ending up taking forty-five. They didn’t have most drinks on the menu, and refused to give me a straw. If you want a relaxing and enjoyable coffee experience, don’t come here!

Have returned. Must see. This is a must try for tourists as they not only have a huge selection of pastries, but also very good and cheap coffee (lattes) at 20peso for a small. Compared to real french pastries, it's mid so nothing here will blow you away, except it's really cheap and a large variety. Try it out! Takes cards and cash. @trebzheng for more.

Came here literally every morning of our week-long trip to CDMX and even got sandwiches to go the last day. Great place for pastries and coffee. Best sandwiches.

Great Bakery and partial cafe. They have nice sandwich, tarts/pie and cake selections. Love their focaccia jamon cerrano and salad (beet root) Coffee is alright even with an extra shot. But I generally prefer mind really strong.

I must confess my sin. I broke lent and had to try the Mexican pan de dulces. The sandwiches are good and filling but the bakery has typical bakery goods and uniquely Mexican baked goods. Worth the walk from the Zocalo and a great way to start or end the day.

Great bakery / café. Here, you will find the bread you’ve been looking for. The coffee is good and affordable. Cakes and other sweet pastries are delicious!

Bakery and cafe with few tables enabling consumption on site. Large selection of breads, buns, pastries, cakes and few good sandwiches to grab for breakfast. Coffee selection is quite basic and taste is rather average. Freshly squeezed orange juice is very good. Very good prices. All in all, very good place for a petit dejuner

👍👍 Even though we didn't order any food or drinks at Sanborns, it is undoubtedly worth your visit. Established almost one hundred years ago by two brothers, Walter and Frank Sanborn, California transplants, the place boast one of the most impressive interiors topped with a magnificent glass dome. 👍👍 Good standard of popular food and drink that goes down well with everyone. Juices freshly prepared are fantastic. Cleanliness is very good. Surroundings may look a little ordinary, but it ticks the boxes when it comes to value for money. Prices are extremely reasonable.

👍👍 Cute coffee & pastry shop in the lovely neighborhood of Coyoacán. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, also a good tea/coffee selection. But the best are their cakes and pastries, by far.
