I have no idea how this restaurant barely has 4 stars.. i’ve been vegan for over 10 years and i’ve tried many vegan restaurants in CDMX and this restaurant is by far, my new favorite. Everything was incredible. I ordered the Al Pastor Gyozas, Fish taco, and the mushroom burger accompanied by a glass of wine. I was truly in awe how the chefs were able to combine so many different flavors in each dish. The texture, the flavor, the aroma, everything was simply perfect. I can’t stress enough how many succulent flavors were packed into each bite. I have seen many reviews complaining that the prices are too high, I couldn’t disagree more. The food is worth every single penny and I will gladly pay it every time that I return. In addition, the service is really good and friendly while the food came out promptly. This is probably my favourite vegan restaurant in all of Mexico. I am very impressed with the flavours. Get ALL the apps and bring friends so you can try everything on the menu. It is a bit pricier, but totally worth it. Even my non vegan friends were impressed!

I rarely write reviews on Google, but it seemed criminal to me that Los Loosers is rated this low. A bit of context about LL: this was the very first vegan food service (initially a dark kitchen) in Mexico City, and perhaps the first (or one of the very first) in the country since back around 2011, and it can't be overstated how much impact they had to kickstart the local plant-based movement in the past few years (maybe not relevant for everyone, but in my opinion every city's vegan pioneer deserves big credit). Evolved throughout the years, at present they offer a seasonal menu specialized in native corn, mushrooms and asian-mexican fusion. If you come from abroad, do yourself a favor and try the corn based items (burgers are amazing, but you're missing out if you don't try tacos, gorditas, etc). You just won't find anything like this literally anywhere else, even in Mexico. Also highly recommended are the ramen variations (i often see Japanese residents coming for it). This restaurant and the work chef Mariana does behind doors is what they would call in Japan 'kodawari', an unwavering pursuit of quality, persistence, attention to detail, and craftsmanship, which is in many ways very in brand with it's heavy Japanese influence. Didn't have many pictures at hand, but i suggest going to their instagram profile, as the menu constantly changes and they post daily over there.

I had a decent snack here, but the server was so arrogant it put me off ever coming back – and that’s saying something, because I really like to support vegan restaurants (hence the extra star). Luckily there is no shortage of friendly, delicious vegan restaurants elsewhere in CDMX!

This is the best vegan/vegetarian place I’ve been in Mexico City. They have a large variety of Mexican dishes with Japanese dishes. I’ve tried several dishes here and the flavor is very good, sometimes you feel that you are having meat since the use of other ingredients and species will give you a great taste. The menu changes constantly so there are some dishes that stay in the menu and others that won’t be available the next time you come. Something to take in count is that the place is small, try to arrive earlier in rush hours. This was the first restaurant that I tried on my visit to Mexico City, and boy do I feel like a “loser”. Fitting name. I ordered the Habanero Miso Ramen. It looked really beautiful when it arrived but looks can be deceiving. The first odd thing was that they had created a large mushroom tempura (breaded and deep fried) - but then they put it in the broth which makes no sense. It was also hard to eat because of the size... I would need a knife to cut it. The noodles were nice at first but quickly turned quite mushy... a theme. The broth was excessively salty however and was basically inedible. I started to feel sick about 1/3 of the way finished. I told the waiter that it way very salty and asked if he could add a bit of a lite broth to it to balance it out and it came back the same. I decided that I would just take the rest to go and correct it at home by diluting the broth. ... and then I was told that they had no containers. Hhmmm, okay? I think they deliver too. So I said that I would just have to leave it and it was a waste of money. This is where the owner or whoever was in charge should have stepped in and told me that they would not charge me at all or at least take half off (it was 245 pesos... so already expensive for noodle soup). i went at 7 pm and a couple things were not available any more from the menu. i wound up getting a burger which looked divine but was difficult to eat (it was one of those very high stacked burgers) and it was covered in so much sauce i could hardly taste anything else. it was okay. for the price i expected more. the ambiance in the space is nice and service is good.

For me, that was a burger with a mushroom-patty and Kimchi, which gave it a really intense taste, like an explosion of flavours in your mouth. Also, the ambiance is nice, there are spots to sit outside, the people were very welcoming towards us, and the name has a cool story to it (ask the owner!). I really recommend you to try the shrooms-based drinks, beer, wine if available and sodas and actually all the dishes we had except from the quesadilla. They are short of staff all the time which is annoying although their food is pretty delicious and original the waiting time issue makes it hard to decide whether to go eat there or not. We've enjoyed both lunch and breakfast here. The outdoor seating was nice and the servers were super-friendly. The spicy ramen is so good! The breakfast enchiladas really hit the spot. Great place that we'll return to.

Delicious vegan place with lots of mushrooms (oyster, enoki, shiitake, etc.) dishes. Ramen tantanmen is very thick and filled with minced mushrooms. Tacos are served as a portion of 2, kimchi and avocado ones were delicious and stuffed with mushrooms however I would like the ingredients in it to be cut smaller as it impossible to bite through. Overall an amazing experience even for meat-eaters such as myself

More than 11th years dedicated to mushroom cuisine. Japan, Korea and Oaxaca are the inspiration in every dish at a very high level of culinary execution. Ramsay please stay home.

Really enjoyed my meal here. Had the guacamole and 2 tacos (Santa Maria La Ribera & Fish). The Fish was my favorite of the two. Loved the drink (Kulanto Pin)- which was spicy and just perfect. Will definitely come back! Edit- have been back and will return many times more I am sure. I want to try everything! I had the alien abduction burger, a tostada app, and the Poderoso Roja cocktail which were both excellent. The attention to detail and quality here are just superb, and I love the vibe of the space. Definitely on the expensive side (relative to plenty of vegan food available in the city) but Los Loosers korean-Mexican fusion differentiates and separates itself from others. We had Esferås De Aguacate and kimchi chips for starters along with the special for the month because of Mexican independence- Chiles en Nogada and Korean BBQ. We also had a michelada and an hibiscus infused drink along with that. Service is a tad slow but in this case I didn’t mind because the food is really more about the experience rather than pushing it down. There is definitely a generous portion of mushroom that shows up in quite a few days but I felt like they didn’t overpower the dishes. Overall, sitting outside and having what felt like a high end vegan food gets los loosers the stars and this review!

Definitely my top 3 fave vegan food experiences in CDMX. Love the mushroom focused mission. The drinks were cool and refreshing and the food was really delicious and nice. We wanted to go back but they were closed. Get the ramen if you are hungry. My special portion was very small but because we had many starters I was covered but recommend asking about portions. Everything was just 5 stars. Also, the bathroom was a vibe- check it out.

We've been wanting to come here for a long time and finally made it. The staff are friendly, helpful and the food is tasty. We had several dishes, portions are a good size and priced well. We'll be back to try more next ime we're in town.

We went here as we thought the restaurant looked cool. We didn’t know it was vegan. If you are vegan then I think you will really enjoy this restaurant. The staff were very friendly! The chips were great. The burgers tasted good, but they have a lot of sauces and this covers up the burger a little so you don’t really think about it. I’m not sure if that’s the purpose. The drinks were not very nice (think it was a ginger drink). Better to stick with water or something you know.

BEYOND INCREDIBLE!!! Los Loosers is special. The service is fantastic, everyone is passionate about the history, culture, and menu of the restaurant. The food is created with the same reverence. Such a special experience. Our favorite restaurant in CDMX.

incredible food, a mix of Mexican and Asian flavors made whit mushrooms.they make great beers and sodas. all these in a peaceful place decorated whit artisans pieces.

Absolutely incredible experience eating here! Food was amazing, every dish was perfectly put together, not only beautifully composed but delicious. We enjoyed the Esferås De Aguacate, the tacos and the ramen noodles. All so unique and tasty! We also enjoyed their house made sodas, so flavorful. Highly recommend this restaurant for an unforgettable meal!
