We had the pasta di funghi and the pizza pa la mama. Both were extremely underwhelming. The use of dehydrated mushrooms in the pasta was actually not good at all. The flavor was overwhelming everything else and not enough cheese. Pizza was meh with no flavor. The service originally was rude but then our server switched and was a bit better. Atmosphere was loud and obnoxious when we were there. Would not go again.

Ok place. The pappardelle was very good. I did not like much the house wine. Looking at the picture, the spaghetti carbonara seems to be made with cream, of so, they don't know how to make it and cannot pretend to be an Italian restaurant. Came back and tried the pizza, not my favorite, it has a thin and crispy crust. The fried calamari are chewy and the breading falls off. Not enough choice of pasta, for example, no tagliatelle or fettuccini. I suggest they offer their gnocchi with more options of sauces. Their internet is not good!

Bad food and service. For “Italian food” pasta was flavorless and was a small portion for the price we paid. The food was served out of time. I got sick to my stomach, maybe they don’t wash the lettuce . The waiter had a rude attitude. The bread of the sandwiches was soggie and stale. Very disappointed!

The place is really nice, the music too! Carlos was such a great waiter really attentive and the service was really nice efficient, thanks for everything! The shrimp Arancini was delicious, the perfect amount of shrimp and potatoe! Th tomatoe soup was so good but I forgot to take the picture All the pastas are made there and you can tell, they are amazing the papardelle was so good something totally different, the lasagna and the ravioli prosciutto was so creamy full of flavor! The tea, the tiramisu and the cheese with berries gelato were the perfect way to finish our meal!

Good Italian restaurants in Roma. They’re pasta is made fresh and they’re sandwich was delicious also. They have a cool vibe and they’re choice of music is on point.

DO NOT RECOMMENDD! Ate here and food appetizers were good and pasta/sauce left a lot to be desired. The biggest issue was as we were setting our money down for the bill, the waiter came over and started taking the bills before we were even done deciding what the tip was. He was super pushy asked if we wanted to include tip. We should have asked for a minute but our money was already in his sleazy grip. Never again and Marcelleria staff, DO BETTER!

This place was good but not great. We really enjoyed the spinach and ricotta ravioli. We also got the pasta allá ruota con trufa and the crispy gnocchi. The pasta dishes were both over salted and the service wasn’t very good. The ravioli was our favorite but the saltiness was a little overwhelming. With all the other Italian options in the city I don’t think I would return.

The plate is honest? I am indeed feeling victimized by this pasta which was not prepared tableside in a cheese wheel as promised, nor does it contain any detectable amount of truffle — oil or otherwise.

it's a really cute place and the service is wonderful. the food is good. we got the crispy gnocchi, spicy salami pizza and the cheese wheel pasta with truffle. they were all good.

The insalata mista was fresh and tasty with a really nice balsamic dressing. The complimentary bread they bring to the table was good as were the crispy onions. The fettuccine alfredo for me was way too saucy and rich, I couldn’t eat much of it. The service was good, just next time I would order a different pasta. I would still recommend coming here. Has a great atmosphere and vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating.

The food here left me delirious. 10/10 best Italian food I have ever eaten. The drinks were strong and delicious, the food was hot and house made. It was so rich and filling I had to bring leftovers home. Do yourself a favor and come to Macelleria as soon as possible.

Great service, pasta, meat, salad, and drinks! When I'm looking for those meals, I usually choose Macelleria. Everytime I have visited, it's been a pleasure. Once you sit down, they bring you a piece of delicious bread with a special butter pot that it's mixed with oil and species. SO GOOD! Last time I tried arrachera beef, it was awesome. It included potato pudding, French fries, and a special sauce. Also, an Aperol Spritz 10/10. One of my favourite places around La Roma!

Beautiful place with really quick and professional service. The food was the best Italian food I ever had in my life and I am a picky eater. Truly everything I ate was spectacular, you need to come here if you are craving Italian food! Cocktails were also strong and affordable.

I went to this restaurant believing that it was going to be delicious but I was wrong. They forgot about my meal and I saw that another person who arrived after me got their food first. My meal should have taken 15 minutes but it took an hour. When it finally arrived it wasn’t that good and they put an insane amount of pepper. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The butter they brought with the bread was pretty rancid. The pasta funghi - listed as the “house favourite” on the menu - was not nice at all (could barely chew the dried mushrooms so left them all on the plate along with the sour butter sauce - only ate plain pasta in the end). Service throughout the meal was not friendly. My partner’s meal also arrived 10 mins after mine did, so mine was cold when I started eating. And then: when at the end we paid the bill, we wanted to leave a smaller tip than the standard 10-15%, but the waiter wouldn’t allow it and pressured for 10% in spite of the problems. Cannot recommend

Simply delicious 🤤 we arrive without reservation however it was early (1 pm approx in Sunday) yet, when we finish the place was crowded.

Reasonable price for the food! I liked my spaghetti and meatballs ! Good customer service as well. The salmon was very tasty as well!

Honestly disappointing having picked this place because of the good reviews. Food was bland, would not eat here again. We both had pasta and without trying to shout down at this place but I've had better microwavable meals. Maybe the other dishes are nicer. Staff was nice and beers were cold.

This is a really cozy Italian restaurant, with a fast service all the time, except at the end they forgot us. The food is delicious, and really well served, the prices are great and the wine list is good and affordable. I believe they can do better in the wine list but still is fine. A great place to go and enjoy a great evening

No one takes responsibility here either. In the developed world the most important thing is marketing well. It means that also hours are updated. I walked in rain to this so-called good restaurant for a takeaway pizza. The place is supposed to close at 11 pm. Well, 10.40 pm there's no anymore service to takeaway, despite that opening hours exclusively for takeaway are till 11 pm. Waiter was shrugging shoulders and saying ya no hay. Update the hours till 10.30 pm to not look like idiots. Too much to ask I presume.

Delicious Italian traditional comfort food. Very well served and with a little for every one: From Mexican style Brunch to NY style deli paninis. From brick oven pizza to pesca del giorno! Excellent!

Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. I tried a carbonara pasta and my husband tried the ravioli but we were not overly impressed. The bread and cocktails were good. I would try something other than the pastas.

My friend and I shared a lovely Sunday evening meal here. The bread was served with a nice butter and fried onions. We eat enjoyed a pasta dish (parpadelle for myself, and lasagna for my friend) which were both excellent. The parpadelle was cooked al dente with incredible braised beef. We paired the meal with a bottle of the house Red wine which was a lovely, light Italian wine. Nice atmosphere; busy but not too noisy. We sat inside by the door and bar. Pleasant service.

Good portion size and great wine, good customer service although I’d like they help cutting the bread before to avoid all the crumbs otherwise would come back

Just had dinner there tonight. Started off with a wedge salad which was huge and delicious and then the spaghetti carbonara which was just the right size given the heavy but great sauce. Ended with a tiramisu of which I could only eat half. The star though was the butter that comes with the bread. Yes, it was unlike any butter I'd ever had and was incredible, silky with a hint of spice. The restaurant is very popular so do make a reservation if you go after 7 or so. Great service too! Highly recommended!

Good service, nice place, food is not the best, pizza is ok, the tomato soup tastes as if it came from a can, and the grilled cheese sandwich that comes with is un-buttered bread with a plastic cheese inside.

Do not come for breakfast - bread was stale and omelette was flavorless. I also asked to eat there and they presented me with the food to go, wrapped in a horrifying amount of plastic that made me never want to order takeout ever again

I like the food but price is expensive, and waiters don’t treat you well, I have paid less in other places, and I have had much better treats. I wanted to celebrate my birthday and they don't even give you the little birthday cake for free they have on their menu. They don’t give you anything and it’s expensive.

We were very apprehensive about coming after reading some of the reviews but decided to try it anyways. Wish we didn’t. Food is an elevated Olive Garden at best. Our food wasn’t even hot, barely warm. Just save your money and go somewhere. Sorry, and I’m not that hard to please with food. The pasta was too cheesy and the sauce tasted watered down.
