Great place for authentic Japanese food. The sushi has great quality, loved the mixed fish bowl. Service can be slow though.

Nice place, good food and good menu. The missing star is basically for 2 simple reasons. No valet Parking service, critical in this area. The main simple reason, our server didn’t care our table so much, several times I need to ask for things like spoons or extra plates. Don’t get me wrong, I will rate 5 stars this place for the food’s quality and nice Japanese environment, but the server was the only concern.

It is good but not amazing. For your reference, Kimchi nabe is very big. Be careful when you order it.

I will value this restaurant as a good Japanese restaurant in DF but the quality is not perfectly stable . The menu presents a diverse option of Japanese cuisine that impressed me a lot. The crude fish (sashimi) are fresh and the udon is well-done.Moreover, the price is considered moderate according to the location and the value of food, so be sure to make reservations beforehand because it's conventionally full.

The food is okay. Nothing spectacular. I honestly expected better since it was recommended to me by a Japanese acquaintance. The prices of the rolls, I must say, is just. We had the tuna/ avocado roll (it’s okay) and the ebi/salmon roll (yummy). Not overly expensive and good portion. I was a bit disappointed by the karaage (a bit salty) the shrimp kushiage (expensive and small) and the katsudon was soupy. Service was good, however. But honestly, it’s not a place for me to come back to.

Very fast but friendly service, great atmosphere, and authentic food with a wide array of options (including lots of vegan & vegetarian ones!). Definitely recommend the veggie tempura, the veggie futomaki, & the edamame. We will be back for sure!

My favorite place to have mabo doufu in the cold days. Foods are always good, staffs are responsive and fast, but hoping that they will renovate because the building and furniture are kinda old.

If you’re looking for an okay curry and some above average sushi, this is the place for you! We tried the gyuudon curry, the tempura soba, salmon and tuna sushi. The sushi and the curry were good, but the tempura soba was not. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the service was okay. The price, however, was very good for Polanco. We were definitely satisfied and happy!

Extensive menu with traditional Japanese izakaya elements. Good rolls, but was a little disappointed with the pokedon as they used plain rice instead of sushi rice. The sashimi bowls will be perfect if it was served with sushi rice
