👍👍 I am a flight attendant. Visited my friend Hector last month. Appetizer, tortilla soup, huge portion of lightly breaded fish (tender as butter, light and flaky) with veggies, flan and two premium beers...18 bucks! Fantastic, clean, friendly and outstanding homemade food at very reasonable prices.... People often mention Hector, airport, great, Mexico, friendly, City, owner, good, amazing, recommend,

I am a flight attendant. Visited my friend Hector last month. Appetizer, tortilla soup, huge portion of lightly breaded fish (tender as butter, light and flaky) with veggies, flan and two premium beers...18 bucks! Right across from the airport. Quiet place to relax and have a great meal. Hector is a true gentleman!

outstanding place with very good food. you wouldn't expect to find good food around an airport but this restaurant really surprises with fresh and delicious Mexican food. the owner and staff are very friendly and the food was ready within 10 minutes - perfect for us as we needed to catch our flight. I highly recommend to eat here instead of inside the terminals.

Great food, very clean, and the hospitality is wonderful. Hector is an wonderful host and made me feel like I walked into the dining room of an old friend. Get out of the airport or your hotel and go eat some real good.

Amazing food, great prices, incredibly friendly staff, right by the airport. What more do you want? If you have a layover definitely come here, if you're staying in Mexico this will be a great first and last meal!

Hector's Agavito is well located, a few minutes walk from Mexico City airport and the Camino Real hotel. Hector, the owner (yes, there really is a Hector!), Is the friendliest guy around and the food is delicious. Highly recommended! Stay away from expensive, generic airport and Hotel food and get over to Hector's!

Incredible place to eat pure Mexican food, with the best atmosphere. The owner received us at the door, suggested the most popular plates and give us a good company and conversation. Very convenient price and super tasty. Totally recommend

A wonderful place for Air Crews to get some food and drinks. Hector is a fantastic host, very friendly. The food tasted great. I had chicken breast in mole sauce. If you have a Mexico City layover do yourself a favour and eat here. It’s so much better than anything you’ll find inside the terminal.

The food is delicious and Hector genuinely cares about his guests feeling at home. Would recommend, would go again. Try the “Juanita”, so good!!

Hector is a true host who genuinely engages with his guests. Mi casa su casa. Despite the many times flying to MEX as flight crew I never came across his restaurant until we arrived on vacation for one night at the airport. We will certainly return anytime we are at the airport for his hospitality and home cooking.

It was such a nice experience ! The ladies there were absolutely adorable, even not speaking the same language, and the food (Fajitas) was really, really good and for a very democratic price. 10’ walk from the hotel and, actually, very good for the digestion after 😊 Thank you again. I will definitely recommend it to my airlines colleagues.

So how to rate this place Let’s start with the amazing welcome from the owner, Hector The adobo sauced pork tacos were obviously a passion of the chef, absolutely amazing A call out to all airline crew, this is our place

We were stuck for an extra night in Mexico City due to a missed connection and the silver lining is that we discovered this fantastic restaurant. We were the only ones there as they were getting close to closing and they took excellent care of us. Our food was fresh and delicious. The tortilla chips and salsa were exceptional.

Had a great dinner at Hectors. Took Hector's suggestions and had the garlic soup, pork tacos and enchiladas with mole sauce. All of it was excellent - very tasty. The staff was great - friendly, helpful and very attentive. Hector was wonderful - a great host and passionate about his restaurant. I highly recommend a visit.

We found this gem of a spot when looking for places to eat near the airport while on a 5 hour layover in Mexico City. An amazing, amazing find. Hector is an incredible host, extremely inviting and friendly, he made us feel right at home from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. He gave suggestions accommodating our diets - the garlic soup in particular was mind-blowing, but all the food was really delicious. Highly recommended, whenever we return to Mexico City we'll make sure to stop by, and I've already recommended it to family and friends living here. Un gran saludo, Hector!

Good food and great service. I've eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. It's across the street from terminal 1 so it's easy to stop in for a meal while waiting for your flight. On my most recent visit I met the owner Hector. He was very friendly and sincerely interested in learning about his customers.

Had a 5 hour layover at the airport. Looked up this place and the reviews are genuine. It's a safe 7 min walk outside the airport. The food was delicious. I had the garlic soup and the mole. They were both incredible. Well worth the walk. Beer was cold. The owner and the staff were super friendly. I will definitely try to here again if I get the chance... Almost forgot, chips and salsa are on point

👍👍 Don’t let the line outside fool you! Restaurant has a lot of seating, waited only about 15 minutes outside. Sat down and enjoyed a great authentic meal. Everything I tried was so delicious!
