👍👍 Super nice place, quite hidden. You will find it on Luis Moya 37 next to the Mezcalería. The door was open, a huge black frame, behind it you find heavy red curtains. Inside photos are forbidden, phones seem to be okay. They have two classic beers, three artesinal ones and a broad spectrum of mezca... People often mention mezcal, music, good, selection, drinks, great, service, beer, find, small,

This was a cool place. Pretty packed when we went at night. The afternoon wasn't as packed but still had a decent crowd. Love that the door is a curtain. Good for mezcal and beer. The bartenders were friendly, helpful and fast both times we went. The crowd was pretty diverse.

I love this place. It had a really fun vibe with lots of people literally hanging out upstairs in their loft and packed in downstairs. The mezcal list was amazing be sure to get the Tobala mezcal. It is made from the heart of baby agave plants and it's a little bit sweeter than most mezcals all while preserving the strong is Smoky flavor of the spirit.

Inside photos are forbidden, phones seem to be okay. They have two classic beers, three artesinal ones and a broad spectrum of mezcals. Service was nice and friendly. Vibe was unique, a bit like Berlins bars once were. Seats were a bit uncomfortable. Prices for the beer are between 40 to 60$, the mezcals start at 110$. Come before 9 pm or you'll have a hard time sitting anywhere as it gets very crowded later on.

It seems that both the bar and the restaurant next door are under the same umbrella. The bar is ver crowded and seemingly authentic, but essentially it's a hipster place. It's an OK bar, nothing really special. I personally found the music to be pretty bad, but that's a matter of taste. As for the restaurant I only got a take away quesadilla. The problem is you don't know what you order as noone explains! It was a vegie quesadilla probably, but I had no clue what I tasted and it was sooo bad - for my taste - that I threw it away. First time it happens to me with mexican food! Also, it takes around 20 minutes for a quesadilla...

Hard to find (the entrance is just a closed curtain and there is no sign), but once inside it’s a great bar, with underground vibes and very good music. The mezcal selection is nice, though without knowing them you have to make a random choice between the names. They have a small selection of craft beer with even some Belgian ones. It gets very busy from 22h onwards.

This place was suggested previously by another friend of mine, I don't remember exactly why it came recommended, but tonite we were looking for a relaxed place where we can try good mezcal, it definitely fulfilled it, the ambiance is quite intimate, and photos are not allowed, that makes it even an intimate feeling, it is worth it. At first place I thought it was a speak easy bar without music to disturb that feel, later we knew the sound equipment it was being fixed, therefore the mood was so chill. Mezcal is really good, and also the craft beers. You will not be disappointed having a stop here.

Such a neat spot! Kind of hidden with no signage; look out for noise coming from behind a red curtain. They have a variety of mezcal shots and a few beers. Environment is fantastic: small, candles, incense and dimly lit. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend and will definitely go back next time I’m in CDMX.

One of my favorite spots in Mexico City. A large and diverse selection of mezcal. A great atmosphere and one of the few places in town where you can just use the bar and seat quietly to enjoy your time. I always found it cool that they play old Indian songs.

Dope mezcal bar seemed popular with foreigners and locals. Lower east side Manhattan vibes (dark, chic) minus the Chanel perfume.

They tried to charge us the doble we drank.. and later they charged it to their own service.. their bar tenders and waitresses were so good that we even invited them drinks and the place charged them on the service they gave us... SO DISSAPOINTED.. It WAS one of my favorite places.. never coming back

Not the biggest fan of the food, but the bar has a nice atmosphere and a decent selection of drinks. The loft is a cozy spot to sit and chat without deafening music.

Don't come here if you're an entitled tourist. DO Come here if you want to experience true Mexican culture, and are genuinely interested in knowing what this incredible city has to offer. Music is great. Sound system knocks. Staff is on point.

The selection of mezcal is truly unmatched anywhere, the servers are great and the music incredible. But: it's a hot box, or clam bake, or pick your metaphor for a cramped space with no ventilation. And due to this I'm 99% sure it's where my partner and I got COVID during our trip. So... F around, find out. 😭

An exceptional place! I think our group ordered almost everything on the menu and nothing disappointed. So many delicious flavors and a really wonderful server, Rubi, who helped us navigate the menu. We recommend that you take some risks and order something you’ve never had before. We did and, wow!

Tlapique and Carnitas Amazing taste!! The tlapique was so soft & juicy 🤩 How come I didn’t find out this place earlier 😍

The place is a hidden gem, you can taste different types of mezcal, and the food is good, although is a little pricey the best dish si far for me is the "Gorditas", they are so good but spicy so beware.

A tiny, and kind of hidden, bar that specializes in Mezcal. They serve beer as well, and will cook up a quesadilla on the backburner if requested. Bartenders are kind and knowledgeable when it comes to spirits and I found mine to speak decent enough English. Not too expensive, but not cheap either. Place can get cramped though as it is very long and narrow,

Great mezcal options and menu. The drinks always come with a free plate of peanuts, garlic and pepper. Music is a mix of ambiance and noise.

Straight up, you’re going to be hot AF in here. But it’s totally worth the vibe and fits it funny enough. And after a couple drinks you won’t even feel it anymore 😉 Dark. Candles. Mezcal. 🤌🏼

Loved the bar part of Bosforo. Really cute for a chill place to grab drinks with a friend or a date. The bar is small but still very cool. Mezcal is a must here

Huge variety of mezcal, the food delicious, the music is awesome but the service real bad and it’s so hot inside (small crowded place with no ventilation)

This is my favourite bar in Centro. The music is amazing the atmosphere beautiful and drinks are awesome. It's something about the lights dimmed perfectly and ofc I have to mention the sound system, it's a brand called Margules, a Mexican producer of speakers very very high end. Don't worry, music is beautiful but you can speak, really it's not loud, the dj is amazing. The atmosphere is like a small piece of Oaxaca, its own little world here in centro. More for groups of 2-4 cause it's really a small place. Aaaand you're probably gonna have to wait if you go on weekends. Have mezcal! Oh and great beer sélection yes.

Great little place in the city filled with a huge selection of mezcal (distilled beverage kind of like tequila) from all over México, awesome ambiance and great service!

Small, hole-in-the-wall dive bar. They ask that you don't take any photos while there, not sure why? Perhaps to maintain some level of mystery and intrigue. The drinks were cold and the food was good.. not much else to say!

Great bar! Bartenders are super knowledgeable about mezcals from all over the country.

  • 2/5 Elena I. 1 year ago on Google
They have a huge home mezcal menu, but the place is permanently dark. They don't have a physical menu or a QR. And photos aren't allowed, so the only way to explore the menu is by asking, but with so many options, you never remember the recommendations.

Good place and great mood. Beware that you are not allowed to take pictures inside. Also a bit hard to find but it's a black metal door and they have red velvet curtains. I would go back but I would say the service isn't top notch.

I guess its good place for mezcal. While im not a fan and didn’t enjoy it at all, the people who were there seemed to enjoy it. 3/5 the food I has was tasteless I had fish with nopales

As cool as everyone says it is - so would recommend getting there close to opening if you want a seat! Very reasonably priced for how nice the vibe is, though, and the folks there managed to get our poorly-timed group of four in on a busy Saturday night, which was much appreciated!
