A kind and welcoming place full of historical knowledge and collections about the late President Magsaysay's life. The tour guide doesn't charge money but is very knowledgeable on the subject matter. He even shares details about how he collected some artifacts inside the museum. The museum also has a free CR located at the back, which is maintained.

Wow. Everything in here is just spectacular. Even the guard is incredibly enthusiastic. He offered to take me pictures. Also, what impressed me the most was the fact that the guard did the stand-in as the museum lecturer for the meantime. The curator and the guide were both not there for personal reasons so what Manong Guard did was very inspiring. Hehe. Thanks a lot manong guard! This is one of our national treasures. Please visit this one more often. No entrance but they would certainly love to accept donations.

Another attraction in Zambales is the ancestral house of the former President Ramon Magsaysay in the Municipality of Castillejos. After celebrating Batang Hamog Mountaineers' 7th Year Anniversary at the Silanguin Cove, this ancestral house was our side trip. While heading back to Manila, we decided to stop by because it looks unique and it was the house of the Seventh President of the Philippine Republic. It was Lucky 7, because we are on the 7th Year and we visited the house of the 7th President of the Philippines. Ma-connect lang talaga no?? This ancestral house houses memorabilia, furniture, photos, medallions, and other materials owned by the the former president.

Very educational place. This is the ancestral house of former president Ramon Magsaysay. Suggest to visit on weekdays and observe lunch time so that the curator can accomodate you on their pristine shape.

The place was nice. You can see here various memorabilias from tha late president. There are the usual things that you could find in a museum like the life of President Magsasay. Overall, good place specially for field trips. Hope this helps! Jesus loves you! God bless everyone!

This was one of a remarkable historical places in the history of the Philippines. The ancestral house of the late 7th President of the Philippines. Many wonderful things inside the house. Where you can find the suits of the presidents his boots up to his hair comb. Also, you can read the biography of Pres. Magsaysay and his tragic death. Which can give you a clear and much detailed information of his life. I also post a picture of mine and my family way back 2015 in commemoration of his death anniversary. Photos indicates the Presidential table, full house view and the Presidents car the Cadillac. Thanks i hope this can give you insights and informarion regarding the House of our 7th President Ramon Magsaysay. Located at Magsaysay road Castillejos Zambales.

The guide gave us a very good tour of the place. He tells us interesting story about President Magsaysay that reinforces our belief that he was the greatest Philippine President. The displays in the place are quite impressive. 90% of the house has been restored to it's original version after it was destroyed by the eruption of mount pinatubo.

I was struggling to find any historical/cultural museums in Zambales and came across this. We turned up on a Tuesday morning and were offered a guided tour. Entrance and tour were free, we gave a donation. The house has been well preserved and tells the story of the ex-President. Our guide gave some wonderful anecdotes about President Ramon Magsaysay. I enjoyed looking at the room decor/furniture and fashions of the day. I recommend passing by if you're in the area.

The Museo ni Ramon Magsaysay is a must-see museum for those visiting Zambales as it is the only one dedicated to the life and legacy of a well-loved Philippine president. It is the ancestral home of Magsaysay's family who moved to Castillejos from Iba when the president was a little boy. It is very informative and well-maintained, and has interactive exhibits for young ones and young once alike.

Entrance is free, you could and probably should give donation tho. The museum is pretty well preserved. You will learn A LOT about Magsaysay and some context of his (and his countrymen) struggles during the 1950s. As a foreigner visiting (Indonesian), it was still somewhat relatable cause we faced similar challenges during that time in history. Oh, and if you're a geek of vintage furnitures, that would be a plus as well

A simple, yet very immersive exhibit of President Ramon Magsaysay's life, career, and legacy. The experience was made better with the passionate tour given by the museum guide/curator. Highly recommended for a short visit. When you do, please donate as well.
