Unfortunately I got food poisoning at this place, which tainted the experience. I was there for one day and night and only ate there so it was a shame. The staff are lovely and the food quality is really good. I was in the wooden huts by the pool and I felt I needed a mosquito net to sleep with as I got bitten a lot in the night and there were gaps between the wooden slats where bugs got in.

We loved our stay at blue Mango. The room was clean and spacious. We loved our a little Terrace. The food was delicious. We really enjoyed the wood fired pizza. The pool is great. The lounge areas are cozy. The beach is not the best, as mentioned in other reviews there is a drop off to the water. However, the water is not very swimmable anyways because of the waves. This is not a party hotel. If you want to party, you can walk 5 to 10 minutes down the beach to other hostels, depending on the night. The staff made our stay so incredible. Junior and Kai (at the bar) made us feel at home instantly. Laura & Joel were always helping us with anything we needed. Thank you Camila & the kitchen staff for the delicious food and graciousness!

To sum up, it's like a product of Ali express. Looks good in the picture but in reality you get something else Rooms are good but the place is really not fun. There is no music in the pool, when there is music, it stucks and rewinds.. The facilites are not maintained well. The pool looks unmaintained and the blue yellow color of the water isn't inviting. You can't swim in the sea (the whole Costeño Playa not only in the hotel) and the hotel is really expensive and not worth it. It's empty from people and there is no fun vibe there for a vacation like in other resorts in the area, they don't even try. The billiard table is covered and doesn't look even playable We ordered 2 nights and we skipped the second one without refund at all... In addition to all that!! It's the last hotel in the beach, which means that if you look for other hotels in the area it is at least 15 mins walk in a sand full of crabs.

We stayed here for one night and it was great. Alejandra the masseuse did a lovely job on my friend and I. They were able to quickly turn around our laundry as we’d just done la caminata de la ciudad perdida. Food and drinks were good. Waves are really rough but the pool is lovely and everything was clean and up to good standards.

We went here for dinner one. Night while staying in a hotel close by. The food was okay, but not great and the service was very inattentive. Even though we passed someone coming in, they did not tell us that they only have one menu on a black board near the kitchen, so after waiting for about 15 minutes somebody came and told us. The half the things we wanted were not available - it is a blackboard, wipe them off or cross them out. Then we ordered and were afterwards asked for a room number. When we then said we weren't staying in the hotel, we were sent to a different server and had to order yet again and pay directly. It was overall not a great experience to eat and I would not recommend going there for dinner or drinks. I cannot tell you anything about the hotel itself.

We stayed here for two nights for my birthday and to rest after the lost city trek. We had a great experience. The staff are lovely, food is really good and reasonably priced, especially the pizzas and fish tacos. Breakfast is also included and they generously give you four options; I tried both the pancakes and avocado toast, which were delicious. The room is very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Although I didn’t swim in the beach as it was quite choppy, it is lovely to sit by and watch a sunset. There are also a nice bar one door down to the left where we had a delicious margarita. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for anyone who wants to relax by the pool and the beach.

Great hideaway! Very accommodating. The hotel is very secluded, private beach nice and clean. The staff speak good English and love when you try (and fail) at speaking Spanish with them. A short walk down the beach either way to fresh water rivers. 30 min North up the road is a great river tubing adventure that is nice and relaxing. Take a t shirt when you go as it can change weather quickly. The food service was slow....but that means fresh. A great little pizza oven for snacks. The food was 5 star. The fish is very fresh of course! The dirt road in was rough and questionable....but worth the drive! Be sure to get a van if traveling from the airport in larger numbers as the car will bottom out! Lol. The resort has 12 rooms....so your guaranteed to have room move around. We took a 16yr old and 14yr old with. No complaints from them. The wifi was good with no issues.

Loved our time here. The atmosphere is extremely relaxing. You can take a short walk down the beach to the hostels if you’re looking for more of a social scene. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, especially those at the reception desk. I HIGHLY suggest getting a massage with Alejandra if she’s there! Best/most effective massage I’ve ever had!

Stopped by in the afternoon for a cocktail and ordered a margarita. The most expensive on the beach at 28mil which is a lot, but thought I don't mind spending a lot if it's good.... It was awful, so so sour so clearly way too much lime/lemon and could hardly taste any alcohol. My motto is, if it's expensive and very good then it's fine, but expensive and bad then it's a joke. We didn't go back and we were staying on that beach for 5 days.

Can only talk for the food and the location and this was great! Good pizza in the evening and nice lunch options as well. Would say from the restaurants at this beach it's the most relaxed and best beach side located one. Only the burgers didn't taste well.

We loved our room, very clean, nice staff but we waited up to AN HOUR to get our breakfast which was really annoying.

Mango Blue is just great. The staff are super attentive, active and kind. The accomodation was super clean and comfortable. Facilities are also well maintained. I must say that the food was exceptional. The ratio price quality is just right. Do not expect this to be a party place, you can rather just relax here. The beach is nice but swimming is dangerous however you have an amazing pool to enjoy. The lady doing the massages is also very good at her work. This hotel is totally recommended. Cant wait to comeback

We came here for lunch and drinks and loved it. Would recommend it here over Bohemia beach due to the better facilities.

Great place! They managed to offer us food when everything was already closed. And it also tasted pretty good. Thanks!

We didn't stay here, but we walked over trying to find somewhere to eat along the beach and found this place. The shrimp and rice plate was AWESOME!!! Great place to eat, drink, and relax!
