Cool park right across from the beach and parking lot. Has 6 tennis courts and 2 pickleball courts, a basketball court and a wide spacious grass area where people lounge, listen to live music, picnic and exercise.

My favorite spot in this area. To the right is santa monica pier about 1mile and to the left is venice beach around half a mile. Sunset is the best here. Couple locals come here and just chill. Meeting point for some runners. Parking is good just across the metered parking couple spots if not the beach pay parking is also available.

Very clean. Near restroms. Plenty of food vendors. A clean, gated and secure playground to take kids.

The dolphins tried to rescue my son! A stingray stung him in the ankle. And jellyfish gave him a rash on the arm. Sometimes the fog causes a mystic feel and creates a 360 degree rainbow. The sanderlings graze like marching bands. The pelicans swoosh by on the wave break inches off the mounting swell and a foot away from your head as you wait for that perfect wave break. I learned to bodysurf here. My son caught his first wave here. I have a photo of my son when he first saw this ocean for the first time here....as a toddler. It was as if he saw the face of God both terrified and in awe. The sunsets are magical but there is more here to find. All is right in the world when you step on the sand and abandon the modern world. 4/24/22 Seal body surfed next to me after checking me out after noticing my Old Spice in my wetsuit. Lol. I love this place. 7/20/22 High Surf. Timeless.

Beach area with some grassy areas near the parking lot. Parking lot was a $10 fee but very convenient. We went on a Friday and there were lots of people there but it didn't feel too crowded. There are restrooms and outdoor showers near the Parking lot and sidewalk. This beach park is the site of several private surfing lessons and youth surfing day camps so it can get crowded. Overall a great beach, well maintained and generally clean.

Ample parking. There’s 2 hr parking and there’s $10 flat rate all day parking. Furthered down is the Santa Monica Pier, it’s a walk but you can rent bikes, scooters etc.

Lovely spot with a grassy knoll for sitting and picnicking. Live music on weekends sometimes. Great place for the kids to run around or for couples to have a glass of wine and chat.

We went there for an early morning meditation on the beach. The air was crisp, colder than I'd have liked but as the sun came out, it got warm quickly. The beach is clean. Restrooms are clean. Parking is free at that time of the day. 5:45am. There were seals in the water. One came out to rest on the sand. The number of joggers had grown by the time we were done which was around 7 am.

One of my favorite places filled with fond memories Rose Avenue and Venice boardwalk Venice California 90291 the culture is unique, the struggle is real, people are not always what they seem. Look in the cracks you may just find a few gems. And thank you for supporting local artists. With the advent of AI art, we need ❤️ now more than ever. To whom this may find have a blessed day. 🙏

Love to rollerblade here. Hermosa has the best concrete for blading (glass) but Santa Monica has the win for people entertainment.

The park is great, the dollar an hour parking for 2 hours is helpful for ocean swimming. The maintain the restrooms very well and there aren't a lot of homeless encampments around, I don't understand why Venice can't or won't do the same thing. Welcome to Paradise

On a recent weekday lunchtime, it was pretty quiet, and while you are theoretically meant to pay for parking, in practice they will just waive you through. A clean, pretty beach with good views of the coast.
